This topic tends to have a negative stigma around it but in reality emotional eating happens in response to positive and negative emotions and it can come when you are hungry or not hungry. There are a plethora of reasons why people eat when they are emotional, whether it be chemical, emotional, or physical. The problems arise when this is the only way that you know how to cope with your emotions and problems in your life, but that doesn’t have to be the case.
