Doing nice stuff for others brings inner satisfaction that can make us feel fulfilled with our lives, but some people overdo it in order to please others out of a feeling of necessity. Sometimes it’s hard to tell if you are people-pleasing or you just like being nice to someone. Often times, this can come about in relation to dieting and can be an act of self-protection. If you do find that you are a people-pleaser, then you may be compensating for something that you don’t really need to! The negative effects of this habit can show itself in many different parts of your life and start to affect your relationships with others and more importantly with yourself. Today, Whitney is going to tell you all about people-pleasing, what it looks like, and what to do if it is affecting you. People-pleasers need to hear this!
