CFFS Executive Director Kimberly Miller and CFFS National Training Director Mary Baker unite to resume the Stand & Deliver Podcast.  The recent observance of Constitution Day on Sept. 17 is the springboard for this week's conversation and centers around the idea that the document and the form of government was intended for an engaged citizenry. The bill to ban TikTok, the viral sensation owned and controlled by the Chinese Communist Party, sounds like a good one on the surface, but is there language in the bill that would allow the government to suppress other "threats to national security" as the government may define it? Could the "RESTRICT" act dangerously expand the national security state? Also up for discussion, the IRS appears to be targeting independent journalist Matt Taibbi for his deep dive reporting on the ties between social media companies and Democrat politicians, putting all journalists on notice that their freedom of the press might have more limitations than they realize. Episode #60 of Stand and Deliver brings a follow up to the Stanford law story presented in Episode #59. The Dean of the Stanford Law school has now suspended the administrator who joined students in heckling and attacking a federal judge who spoke to the students, and is standing up to the unruly students who are outraged at her apology to the judge on their behalf. Also, another university has free speech issues, this time at the University of Central Florida, where a professor has sued the school for terminating him on the basis of his own questions on the subject of anti-racism. Higher education is truly a battleground on which the First Amendment will either be strengthened or buried forever. And finally, will the United States allow people to use proper and accepted grammar when referring to other people, or will this nation become Canada, which jails people for not using "preferred" and "invented" pronouns? A 16-year-old student in a private, Catholic school was ejected from his school for disagreeing with rules regarding biological males and females in school restrooms, and eventually arrested for trespassing when trying to return to class. Canada does not abide by the U.S. Bill of Rights, but our concern is that the U.S. will soon be the same way. Cancel culture is real, and expressing opinions that challenge the prevailing Leftist orthodoxy is a recipe for disaster. The guys also try to peel back the layers of the Artificial Intelligence onion. On Episode 54 of Stand and Deliver...Patrick and Bob discuss the Congressional committee hearings to investigate the past censorship of American citizens by the former executives of Twitter. The tech giant was purchased last year by Elon Musk, who proceeded to release all the internal files detailing the actions of the former administrators, revealing their intentional collaboration with Democrat operatives to stifle all dissent when it came to Covid 19 and vaccination protocols. The House Judiciary committee has only begun to grill the executives for substituting their judgment for that of medical experts whom they suspended, all in service to their partners in the federal government. Patrick also warns to new AI technology that will eventually replace human interaction in virtually every space involving technology, commerce, and even education. This is an early look at what will be the greatest challenge to our First Amendment rights in history.

This week marks the 52nd consecutive weekly episode of Stand and Deliver, and Patrick and Bob decided to celebrate the first anniversary of the podcast by....Standing and Delivering! The global elites at the World Economic Forum in Davos apparently laid out their plan for the United States to surrender to their European agenda of canceling free speech in America, but those of us at CFFS have other plans. As an EU chief declared that "illegal hate speech" will be coming soon to America, it will be up all defenders of the First Amendment to remind our elected leaders that the U.S. Constitution is not subject to global approval. Also coming out of Davos, the story of an American activist for Turning Point USA being targeted for harassment by TSA upon returning from the Summit, after sharing with her considerable online following what she discovered in Davos. And Facebook executives have decided to allow former President Donald Trump back onto their platform, as long as he and his followers adhere to "guardrails" in using the forum. What a novel concept: Restoring a citizen's free speech by announcing that he will not be permitted to speak freely.

On Episode 51 of Stand and Deliver, the World Economic Forum in Davos is underway, and the top target for those with a globalist agenda: Free Speech! No less than the publisher of the New York Times declared that free speech--which allows for what they call 'misinformation'--is the most existential threat on the planet. They are terrified of the prospect of average citizens sharing information that challenges their own, and interferes with their agenda. On the social media front, LinkedIn has joined Twitter and Facebook as one the latest company to spike posts and cancel accounts of people who share information with which their "fact-checkers" disagree. We go inside the story shared by PJ Media. And on January 20, the Supreme Court will determine if they will take up a lawsuit filed by the states of Texas and Florida over the Silicon Valley power to censor opinions and points of view based solely on ideological differences.

Recent events that have exposed massive collusion between  the government and social media giants promise to put a huge dent in future censorship.  An important victory for a Virginia parent who stood up for his first amendment rights when a school board decided it would no longer hear from a crowd of concerned parents. Also…future important victories may be on the horizon, thanks to a newly created congressional committee to investigate the weaponization of the government against the First Amendment rights of the citizens!

On the first episode of Stand in Deliver of 2023, we pick right off where we left the disastrous year of 2022: Defending free speech against the full frontal attacks that we all face. The state of California starts the new year with a new law forbidding doctors from being doctors. No physicians in the state are permitted to discuss diagnoses of illnesses or possible treatments unless they are consistent with the state medical community's "consensus" on the conditions. One of the most dangerous new laws to come down the line anywhere in America. Additionally, Bob and Pat discuss the danger of a United States senator declaring that "hate speech" is NOT protected by the First Amendment...while one school district in Virginia puts that to the test by trying to silence parents who say things that board members don't like.

On the final episode of Stand and Deliver in the year 2022, Patrick and Bob conduct a Year in Review for Free Speech. Between the acquisition of Twitter by billionaire Elon Musk, the revelation that the federal government was colluding with Big Tech to censor Americans, and the ongoing attempt to coerce people into saying things they do not believer, 2022 was a year unlike any other. The War for Free Speech is expected to continue into 2023, and CFFS is committed to winning the fight to protect our First Amendment!

CFFS Deputy Director Kimberly Miller joins Bob Frantz for a look back at 2022 and what is in store for the new year as we renew our resolve to defend our First Amendment Rights.  The two also discuss a story out of Arizona where the City of Phoenix has empowered the NFL to dictate temporary signage rules on private property ahead of the Super Bowl.

On the latest Stand and Deliver: Patrick and Bob address the latest threats to free speech online--forcing self-censorship by linking opinions to violence caused by others. At issue is the attempt to blame online criticism of controversial bodily mutilation of children for violent actions against people in the LGBTQ community. Politicians, celebrities, and media members have also claimed that refusing to use made-up, hand-crafted "pronouns" for people who self-identify as other random beings is also a form of violence. Any violent acts against any group of people are completely condemned by CFFS, and by everyone who is critical of the agenda to groom or recruit kids into confusing, alternative lifestyles. Free Americans must not allow fear of being linked to acts that they have nothing to do with lead to their own self-censorship.

Patrick and Bob tackle the Supreme Court hearings on 303 Creative, the Colorado based website design company that refused to create a same-sex wedding webpage due to the owner's religious belief. The state of Colorado insists that people should be forced to say, create, or present anything that someone wants them to--which is massive violation of the First Amendment. Also up for discussion is a new statute in the state of New York that allows the state to punish what it defines as "hate speech" online. The law expressly prohibits speech that someone may consider to be abusive or hateful--despite the fact that such language is protected by the First Amendment. Even worse, the law requires the owner of the websites to condemn such speech and provide an outlet for visitors to complain about it, which also violates compelled speech laws. Finally, Patrick shares his own personal experience with disenfranchisement in the recent Arizona elections. Freedom is truly under attack when Americans cannot count on having their votes counted as they try and make changes to governments that may be failing them.
