REFLECTION, VISION BOARDS, IDENTITY BASED GOALS AND HOW TO ACHIEVE YOUR DREAMS IN 2022

REFLECTION, VISION BOARDS, IDENTITY BASED GOALS AND HOW TO ACHIEVE YOUR DREAMS IN 2022
The power of reflective practice, vision boarding and how to use identity-based goals to achieve your dreams in 2022 is the topic of this Honest to Gob podcast.Claire and Gem talk in this episode about the power of reflection and how to look back over the difficult year that has been 2021, achievements and challenges, vision boarding, boredom, work, books and retreats.Where are you with your reflections and learnings on 2021? What have you learned about yourself? What can you take with you in 2022 that will support you in your goals and dreams? What does the future look like for you in 12 months, what are the things you are going to be doing with your daily decisions? What small steps are you going to take to get you to where you need to be?What is your word of the year for 2022?Gemma’s word of the year is strength, and she wants to be strong mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. She's also dropping specific goals for 2022 and instead focusing on identity-based goals and figuring out what kind of person who is strong in body, mind and spirit does on a daily basis.Claire wants to write a full book, after having a taste of writing a chapter for a collab book in 2020 – so Gemma asked what does somebody who wants to write a book be doing? Claire will be following suit and Gemma will be helping (since she’s written 3 best sellers). Claire's word of the year is collaboration and she'll be making sure she asks for the help she needs to achieve her goals. Claire also revealed she's been putting plans in place to organise some in-person retreats so if you'd like to join us on a powerful spiritual jolly to Wales click here: https://thepurpose-pusher.com/retreats/The biggest takeaway from this podcast was this powerful question posed by Claire:What would your day look like if you came out of your head and into your heart?Mentioned in the podcast: Tips for Vision BoardsA vision board is something to help you visualise your goals and dreams to help and support you in achieving them. It’s a physical collection of items such as pictures, magazine cut outs, words and quotes that visually affirm your goals and dreams. You could also just write it out as a series of words in a mind map format.Planning Out Your Vision Board – topics to include:RelationshipsCareer and financesHomeTravelPersonal growth (including spirituality, social life, education)HealthCommunity serviceFamilyMaterial thingsHere is a link to look at more on Vision Boardshttps://thriveglobal.com/stories/4-tips-for-creating-a-vision-board-that-actually-works/With ❤️  loveClaire & GemTo keep up to date with the latest episodes, please follow Honest to Gob pod:Instagram - @honesttogobpodFacebook - @honesttogobpodIf you'd like to see the video footage of this podcast episode, find us on YouTube here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC38kL7g2M3zF_ngoZJdCtoQFor Gemma @gemmadeeray www.gemmaray.comFor Claire @the_purposepusher www.thepurpose-pusher.comProduction @Liverpoolpodcaststudios www.liverpoolpodcaststudios.com
ZOË DEW - ARE HARD BOUNDARIES RUDE? ARE VOICE NOTES SELFISH? HOW TO HAVE BETTER BOUNDARIES AT WORK
Nov 23 2021
ZOË DEW - ARE HARD BOUNDARIES RUDE? ARE VOICE NOTES SELFISH? HOW TO HAVE BETTER BOUNDARIES AT WORK
Zoë Dew is the operations manager for Lisa Johnson the online business strategist and passive income expert. She left running her own business to become a very happy employee, working in a team she adores. As Lisa's business has grown at an exciting and impressive rate, Zoë finds herself acting as the gatekeeper and gets inundated with voice notes, Facebook messenger messages and Loom videos... which she ignores! She's not rude, she's just setting boundaries. In this episode, she talks about why boundaries are essential for yourself, your clients, your family and friends. Zoë got really honest about her previous roles; like the football club job she was sacked from, feeling brain fried by constant messages working in the wedding industry and how running her own business forced her to have boundaries. In addition to some stellar advice about setting boundaries - particular in your communication style, Zoë chatted about her love of Instagram stories. Seriously, go follow her she is freakin' hilarious and so down to earth! www.instagram.com/zoerdew After we recorded this episode and Zoë left the studio, Gem, Claire and producer Jacob ended up in a deep conversation about all the ways in which we are feeling fried by people having constant access to us. It opened up a conversation between us about how we allow ourselves to be 'on' all the time for people and what else we could do to ensure we protect our mental energy while being clear and kind to the clients we serve, the people we work with and our loved ones.Zoë is straight to the point, funny and brilliant. Let this episode inspire you to think about your boundaries, particularly at work, and how you can start to set some hard and fast rules about how people get to access your time, energy and valuable mental space.Thank you to Zoë for taking the time to chat to us and inspire us with your wit and wisdom. To keep up to date with the latest episodes, please follow Honest to Gob pod:Instagram - @honesttogobpodFacebook - @honesttogobpodIf you'd like to see the video footage of this podcast episode, find us on YouTube here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC38kL7g2M3zF_ngoZJdCtoQFor Gemma @gemmadeeray www.gemmaray.comFor Claire @the_purposepusher www.thepurpose-pusher.comProduction @Liverpoolpodcaststudios www.liverpoolpodcaststudios.com

“Can hangovers kill you!?” GEM'S SOBRIETY JOURNEY
This episode is all about sobriety and in particular the issues that people have with the word ‘sober’.No, it doesn’t mean you’re an addict but it does mean you choose to turn your back on substances that you know aren’t helping you live your best life.In this extremely open and honest podcast, Gemma opens up about the reason she became sober curious in the first place “I thought I’d killed my son” and Claire shares her story of going booze-free for 100 days.In this episode, we reference a variety of helpful podcasts, organisations and individuals for anyone else feeling sober curious.GOBBING OFF*New*! As this podcast is all about being honest to gob, we thought we’d have a new feature called ‘Gobbing Off!’ where we share the stuff that’s been twisting our tits and making us have sandy vaginas. We invite YOU to get involved in this too!Leave us a DM voice note on Instagram and let us know what YOU are gobbing off about. In sending us a voice note you agree to be featured on the podcast so you can choose to change your name if you want. DANI WALLACE, CELEBRITY PUBLIC SPEAKING COACH AND QUEEN BEE
Sep 24 2021
DANI WALLACE, CELEBRITY PUBLIC SPEAKING COACH AND QUEEN BEE
Dani Wallace is a powerhouse of positivity and authenticity. She's the self-proclaimed 'Queen Bee' because "When I learned the Queen was born the Queen I was like WTF?"  and she teaches other people to show up, wise up and rise up in their lives and business.A former professional vocalist turned corporate leadership trainer, Dan experienced her fair share of heartbreak and low points after being left homeless and a single parent with two young girls. She fell victim to a narcissist but managed to turn her life around with her trademark grit, graft and good outlook on life.Dani realised that the #1 fear in the world is glossophobia - the fear of public speaking. It is believed 75% of people suffer with this fear which sounded incredulous to Dani - a lifelong performer. Dani has since gone on to put her talents and traits together in one package to help people show up in their lives and businesses, wise up to who they really are rise up to achieve their dreams. She is passionate about communities and rising together and is an advocate for domestic abuse survivors. We LOVED recording this episode with Dani. Gemma and Dani were in talent shows 20+ years ago at the same time as teenagers so this was the first time they'd 'met' in their adult lives. Claire has been working with Dani on her business and personal story and will appear live at Bee Inspired in Manchester on 30th September 2021.For tickets to Bee Inspired or for more of Dani's work and the communities she nourishes and supports, visit www.iamthequeenbee.co.ukWith ❤️ loveClaire & GemTo keep up to date with the latest episodes, please follow Honest to Gob pod:Instagram - @honesttogobpodFacebook - @honesttogobpodIf you'd like to see the video footage of this podcast episode, find us on YouTube here. For Gemma @gemmadeeray www.gemmaray.comFor Claire @the_purposepusher www.thepurpose-pusher.comProduction @Liverpoolpodcaststudios www.liverpoolpodcaststudios.com

BEING A CONTROL FREAK WITH MONIQUE SVIENSSON, PERFECT PLANNER COMPANY
This week's episode is dedicated to the life changing magic of PLANNING!This could possibly be one of Gemma's ultimate favourite topics as you'll often see her with her Best Self Co planner and erasable pens, planning out every minute of her life.Claire also loves to plan, she's just not that great at implementing the plans as she admits in this episode.Thankfully, the girls enlisted the expert advice of Monique Sviensson, CEO and founder of The Perfect Planner Company.Monique enjoyed decades working in the theatre, stage managing internationally renowned shows including the award-winning War Horse. This was an intense and crazy job that required project management skills of steel. Monique had her eldest daughter and didn't want to give up the career she loved. So she juggled 80 hour weeks and ferrying her daughter to in-laws and grandparents while her husband worked away.A life-changing and traumatic loss forced Monique to rethink her career and she saw an advert about running a business from home. That business was network marketing which Monique did and successfully built a team. Realising she preferred the project management side of business and knowing she needed the perfect planner to help her, she couldn't find the right stationery she needed so went about designing her own!Monique and her husband have made The Perfect Planner Company the go-to tool for busy network marketers, business owners and parents. They have partnered with organisations to create white label bespoke planners using their planning models and methods as outlined between the pages of their beautifully designed hardback planners and dedicated planning pads.Join us as we hear all about Monique's life trying to have it all, losing so much more than she ever thought possible but building her life and business back with the help of her planning skills (and a label maker!).Follow Monique:https://perfectplannerco.com/https://www.instagram.com/perfectplanner.company/https://www.facebook.com/perfectplannercoEnjoyed the podcast? "MY HUSBAND MARRIED SOMEONE ELSE WHILE MARRIED TO ME | YVE GIBNEY | HONEST TO GOB

"MY HUSBAND MARRIED SOMEONE ELSE WHILE MARRIED TO ME | YVE GIBNEY | HONEST TO GOB
Yve Gibney had been married to her husband for 18 years when she made the shocking discovery on Facebook that he'd married another woman while working abroad. If that wasn't bad enough he falsified documents to get married in the first place and then falsified financial statements that affected Yve's divorce settlement. In a quest for justice, Yve has encountered the unfairness of legal battles between couples and fought to get her ex-husband charged for bigamy. In an effort to get her voice out there and be the voice for other women at the mercy of coercive control, Yve has written a book about her experience called Face of a Bigamist 👉 http://bit.ly/faceofabigamist_bookThis harrowing and heartbreaking tale sounds like it should be from a movie or TV drama series. This is the real-life of a woman who has fought for justice for her and her sons after the fall-out from the unnecessary deception. The saddest part of this story is it would've taken just 8 words to change the course of this story - "I've met someone else and want a divorce."But Yve's ex-husband chose to lead a lavish lifestyle with his new bigamous bride in Oman he played the mental health and impoverished card to Yve who stayed awake at night worrying about the man she thought she would love forever.Hear this extraordinary story of an extravagant duplicitous life underpinned by a web of lies that destroyed family ties forever, cost tens of thousands in legal fees and left mental scars for all involved. Many thanks to Yve and her friend Vicky for joining us on the Honest to Gob podcast and for producer Jacob at Liverpool Podcast Studios. To keep up to date with the latest episodes, please follow Honest to Gob pod:Instagram - @honesttogobpodFacebook - @honesttogobpodIf you'd like to see the video footage of this podcast episode, find us on YouTube here. For Gemma @gemmadeeray www.gemmaray.comFor Claire @the_purposepusher www.thepurpose-pusher.comProduction @Liverpoolpodcaststudios www.liverpoolpodcaststudios.com

GETTING HONEST ABOUT MONEY | HONEST TO GOB
In this episode Claire and Gemma talk about Money Whats your take on this thing called ..........money, cash, bacon, mula, wonga, bread and honey? Do you see it as an evil energy or do you see it through a positive lens? How were you brought up around the concept of money? Were you lead to believe that you have to work hard for your money? Listen to us talking about ours and others beliefs around this controversial topic  - Money. We would love to know your thoughts and feelings about Money – so feel free to review and comment. Theres a big shadow onto the whole self worth and money thing at the moment. In fact 70 % of our coaching clients and students have limiting beliefs around the concept of money and their views around money. We educate them on the fact that money is currency and currency is energy. That is all!!!!! Its how we view it and our own self worth as to how we can improve our relationship with it. Feel free to use and say these affirmations out loud to yourself over the next 28 days and see how you can subconsciously change your thought patterns on it. Affirmations around money :Money gives me freedom and choicesMoney allows me to help my family and others improve their lifeI serve, I deserveI am worthy of having more wealthBeing wealthy feels amazingI am the master of my own moneyI am a thriving and wealthy person Namaste Claire & Gem To keep up to date with the latest episodes, please follow Honest to Gob pod:Instagram - @honesttogobpodFacebook - @honesttogobpodIf you'd like to see the video footage of this podcast episode, find us on YouTube here. For Gemma @gemmadeeray www.gemmaray.comFor Claire @the_purposepusher www.thepurpose-pusher.comProduction @Liverpoolpodcaststudios www.liverpoolpodcaststudios.com
