In this premiere episode, Della and Claire discuss The Witness, the 2017 documentary that explores the events surrounding the murder of Kitty Genovese in 1964. For over a half a century, the events originally reported in The New York Times - that 38 witnesses watched her being murdered - went largely unchallenged. This film follows Kitty's brother, Bill, as he goes in search of the truth to find out what actually occurred that fateful night.
