David "D-Fish" Fisher - Education, Curiosity, & Patience

The Quarterback DadCast

Mar 3 2022 • 56 mins

As you've seen, Season 3 is dedicated to my father, Mike Jacox, who passed away late in 2021. I Love and miss you, Dad.

Today, we got the opportunity to speak with David "D-Fish" Fisher, who comes referred to our show by Andy Paul, who hosts The Sales Enablement Podcast and is also the author of "Sell, without selling out."   He is the best-selling author of 12 books on sales, networking, social media, and entrepreneurship.  And he is also a prolific contributor to blogs in the sales and marketing space.   His goal is simple: help people become RockStars in their professional lives so that they can have a positive impact on those around them.

Today, we talk to D-Fish the father and learn how he is striving to become the ultimate QB of his household.  His parents were hard-working parents who put a huge emphasis on education.  As you can imagine, this is where he learned the love of reading.  Both of his parents were amazing networkers, which was passed down to D-Fish and helped him be so successful in sales.

You will learn D-Fish's story of having children later in life and the benefits and challenges that will present.   We talk in-depth about patience, being self-aware about our own gaps in life, and helping our kids to figure things out for themselves.
