The Modern Crone: Season 1: The 21st Century Shaman: Gentle Eagle

The Modern Crone

Oct 14 2021 • 40 mins

Jeff ‘Gent’ Stone (Gentle Eagle)  was raised around Ceremony.  Specifically, he has worked with Native American Elders (mostly Lakota) who have taught him how to perform Inipi Sweat Lodge Ceremonies, Firewalk, Vision Quest, Chanunpa Sacred Pipe, Sun Dance as well as many Sacred Plant Medicine Ceremonies, including Ayahuasca, Peyote, Huachuma, Psilocybin, Rape and others. Gent has carried a Sacred Pipe for over 30 years and facilitates many healing Ceremonies with the community.

Gent also has a PhD in Biomedical Science from UCSF and is currently furthering his education and working in the field of Bioinformatics and Data Science. Gent also collaborates with many clinicians, including those at MAPS and other psychedelic integration therapists and adjunct care providers. He is working diligently to educate the community on best practices for use of Sacred Plant Medicines as well as harm reduction and is working with others to lead decriminalisation efforts across the country.

Join us as Gent shares his views on Native American Shamanism in the modern era, the interconnectedness of all of life, even at a cellular level, the active role of our ancestors, the first, second and third attention, and the true nature of the Dream Space as a Healing Space. We share some of our story when we met in Peyote Ceremony in Utah three years ago and how the Plant Medicines help us to reconnect to Spirit and the Mystery.
