Most real estate brokers take 20 or even 30% of commissions   Real Estate Broker, Cary Macey states that “Realtors will have more financial security through this new real estate business model at Global Home Realty. Athena Brownson is a realtor and former professional skier. She is also the daughter of a real estate developer and an interior designer. Initially she was drawn to the interior design business, Athena found herself getting her real estate license and was able to take her passion for interior design and put it to work in a meaningful way. Her eye for aesthetics quickly gave her a leg up in her ability to get client’s homes sold and helped build her reputation. Athena was diagnosed with Chronic Lyme disease and Co-Infections. Unfortunately, the disease quickly overtook her immune system leaving her with countless autoimmune diseases and a long journey ahead when it came to treatment. At that point, Athena had already been in Real Estate for four years and had a thriving business and the skills necessary to succeed. Athena was determined to not let the diagnoses stop her; despite being told that many in her position would be on long term bed rest.    Today, despite the numerous health challenges she faces, Athena’s business continues to grow year over year. She prides herself on being one of the most active and accessible agents in the Denver area, despite battling chronic fatigue and on-going treatment. This is the second team that he has built from scratch. The Emerald Group currently consists of 6 Agents and 4 Admin Staff. 3 of our Admin Staff are overseas, 1 of them is here locally. They are on target for a bit over 200 sales in 2022, around $68 million in volume and $1.5m in total GCI. In 2021 The Emerald Group did 148 Transactions, about $49 million in volume and a bit over 1.1 Million in total GCI. In 2020 they had 3 Agents and 2 Admin, they did 103 Transactions, about $33 million in volume with about $750,000 total GCI. In 2019 Andrew had split up with his previous Business Partner and restarted, The Emerald Group 2.0. Starting her career as a real estate agent, Chandra started to notice a dramatic decrease in inventory in 2018. This meant it was harder to find homes for her clients. She decided to take things into her own hands and create more inventory. Chandra immediately began to work with investors to assist in renovating properties to create beautiful "like-new" homes. This was the start to her flipping business, in which she has successfully flipped 30 homes in two years, using only investor money, none of her own cash. With the profits she makes from flipping, she buys rentals. Additionally, Chandra has a passion to teach other women how to reach financial freedom. As a single mom and a domestic violence survivor, she believes that freedom of your finances brings your family freedom. One way she does this is by skipping around the hard-money route and working with the working class in her community. Through forming an investing group, Chandra is helping a small group, mostly women, invest in RE through her projects. Because of his work ethic, Jeff earned the nickname “The Machine.” He’s sold more than 1,100 homes since becoming a realtor in 2001. Jeff was named Best Realtor of the Year in 2021 by The Palm Beach Post. Jeff manages an 80-person team at ECHO Fine Properties. He is involved with devising marketing strategies for all listings, reviewing marketing materials, conducting showings, negotiating transactions, and supervising closings. Before launching his own brokerage, Jeff worked as an agent at Illustrated Properties Real Estate and Waterfront Properties. Prior to real estate, Jeff worked for his father’s company, Western Textile Fashion Drapery Products, as the Vice President of Marketing and Sales. There, he worked with buyers and designers to sell home furnishing fabrics to manufacturers, distributors, and retailers. Jeff earned his bachelor’s degree in business management with a major in marketing from Syracuse University. He isn’t only a winner in business, but in life. Jeff is a kidney cancer survivor and raised $15,000 for Tug of War to Stop Cancer. Jeff was raised in Chicago. He and his wife Veronica now reside in Palm Beach Gardens with their two children, Sam and Jade.
