Bishop S.Y. Younger is a captivating preacher, teacher, evangelist, author musician/artist and lecturer. He hails from the central part of Virginia in the United States. He attended Liberty University in the Fall of 2003 majoring in English and pursuing a minor in History. His aspirations in secular education were to pursue a career in teaching. His academic pursuit was interrupted by a divine call to plant a church. In 2005 he started his first church, The Ramp Church International now located in Lynchburg, Virginia. As Bishop Younger’s ministry grew, he began to plant other churches around the United States and in other countries. In 2011 he was consecrated to the episcopacy and made a Bishop in the LORD’S Church by a college of regional bishops. In addition to those church plants, other pastors and ministries began to seek his oversight. In response to this overwhelming need, Bishop Younger started a fellowship of churches called the One Way Churches International. He serves as the Vice Presiding Bishop under his Pastor, Bishop Lorenzo Hall. Beyond the podium of his own

reformation, he locally serves as director of One Voice, an ecumenical group of clergy from the Baptist, Non- Denominational, Pentecostal, Lutheran, and Episcopalian branches of Christendom. Bishop Younger has served as a

Regional Director for Christians United for Israel. Musically he serves on the Board of the Lynchburg Symphony and as a consultant for the Global Peace Organization serving countries around the world.Bishop Younger has traveled extensively for the sake of the gospel with his work spanning nationally and internationally across the United States, India, Israel, El Salvador, Guatemala, Brazil, England, Pakistan, Nepal, South Korea, China, Mongolia and Brazil. Today, he Pastors The Ramp Church International in Lynchburg, Virginia, The Ramp Church DMV in Washington, DC, and The Ramp Church SP in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Along with those locations he oversees The Ramp Church Texas, The Ramp Church Houston, The Ramp Church Los Angeles, The Ramp Church Toronto and The Ramp Church Charlottesville. Bishop Younger created Ramp Records where he releases music and brings forth artists from The Ramp Church and had them featured on the projects. Their most recent project “Rampology, Volume 1” featuring The Sounds of The Ramp was released in July 2022 and was distributed by MNRK Music Group. The debut single “The Storm is Passing Over” which features The Sounds of The Ramp & Korey Mickie went viral on social media during Stellar Award weekend. This project was a live recording that has a accompanying videos for each song on the project. Rampology Vol. 2 was released November 2022. Bishop Younger’s greatest joy is worshipping God and pastoring the flock. He has been blessed to achieve many accomplishments in his youth, but in all things, he recognizes his place as a servant in the kingdom and not a lord over God’s inheritance. Bishop Younger is known for his energetic preaching style and prophetic anointing, but his heart’s desire is seeing God get all the glory out of his life.
