My guest for today's show is the one and only Richard McGonegal! Richard is an author of two fictional books centered around the character Sheriff Francis Hood. Those books are Sense of Grace and Ghoul Duty, respectively. Richard has a third book from the Sheriff Francis Hood series called The Forget Me Knot, set to release in 2023. We know this is gonna be a good one because The Forget Me Knot received 2nd runner-up honor at the 2021 Killer Nashville Claymore awards for unpublished manuscripts. Richard also has 24 short stories published, including 9 in Alfred Hitchcock’s Mystery Magazine. Finally, Richard is a retired editor for the News Tribune Co in Jefferson City, Missouri where he worked for over 40 years.
