Friday Faith Foundations - Why you need to stop comparing yourself
Have you experienced comparison? Comparison comes in several forms: comparing yourself to others, others comparing themselves to you, or others comparing you to others. You don't have control over what other people do, but you can stop comparing yourself with others. Comparing yourself to others is a dangerous way to determine your success. It is a distraction from the focus God has called you for and it will take you to a place of negative, disparaging thoughts. Since we know that our thoughts influence our emotions and feelings and our emotions and feelings influence our choices and behaviors which determine our results, it's imperative to avoid any activity that may trigger negative thoughts. Here's what Scripture has to say about comparison Galatians 6:4 Romans 12:6-8 1 Corinthians 12:22-25 2 Corinthians 10:12-13   Read the full show notes for scripture verses and links to additional resources.    The Success Without Social Mastermind Business Growth Program is Open for Application If you are overwhelmed, feel like you're spinning in circles, are stuck overthinking, struggle with how to differentiate yourself as an expert in your niche, find yourself in a place of comparison and doubt, or have invested in coaches, programs, or courses with minimal results, apply today. You Need Intimacy to Succeed with Dr. April Brown

You Need Intimacy to Succeed with Dr. April Brown
The connection between relationships, intimacy, and business is stronger than you think. Your relationships and your level of intimacy with yourself, others, and God influence your business growth. Relationships and intimacy influence business growth. Of course, you can think of relationship marketing, but your personal relationships and level of intimacy with yourself, your spouse, and even with God are also important. You need intimacy to succeed in life and business. Intimacy begins with being present Social media is one of the distractions that keep you from being present. We need personal connection and intimacy and trying to emulate everything and everyone you see online distracts from focusing on being present and building connection. As a business owner, it's easy to compare yourself with other entrepreneurs, but it's so much better to support one another, hold each other up, and build relationships with like-minded people. Take a step back and not look at what other people are doing and concentrate on what God is calling you to do. Get intimate with the Holy Spirit and listen to what he's telling you to do for the next right step. Improving intimacy with God To be truly intimate is also to listen. Don't just pray, tell God your problems, ask Him for things, but then listen. Dr. Brown emphasized that it's also important to ask God who we are, who he wants us to be, and how we should use the gifts he's given us. If you think about it, you need intimacy to succeed not only sexual intimacy. You need intimacy with God. To be in a relationship with Jesus to communicate with Him and listen for Him. Intimacy with self Another way you need intimacy to succeed is through self-acceptance. You need an intimate relationship with yourself to accept yourself, to love yourself, to respect yourself, and to be kind to yourself. In addition, all of your relationships will begin with your relationship with yourself. You should never say anything bad about yourself because you have to live with yourself for the rest of your life. The world may talk about you but don't talk negatively about yourself. The Bible says that we are to love our neighbor as ourselves. Truly love yourself because people will treat you the way you treat yourself. Even Jesus took time for himself. As a business owner, it's important for you to as well. When you rest, you will have more energy to build intimate connections. Intimate connection with your spouse, your kids, and others requires you to have good self-intimacy and to know yourself and your boundaries.   Learn more and connect with Dr. April Brown Website for Dr. April Brown   Read the full show notes and access all links.
Friday Faith Foundations - Do You Believe There Is Always A Way With God?

Friday Faith Foundations - Do You Believe There Is Always A Way With God?
Do you ever feel like you can't figure things out? Maybe things seem too hard. Or, maybe you believe you've tried every possible angle and still haven't found the solution you need or the results you want. Oh, how I've experienced this. And what I've learned, is that with God there is always a way. Not on my own accord, but through faith. With God, there is always a way I listened to a sermon by Pastor Steven Furtick of Elevation Church the other day. One of the messages he emphasized was this: With God, there is always a way, and by faith, I will find it. Perhaps you need this reminder too, and if not, I'm sure you know someone who does. I needed to be reminded of this - right now - at this point in my journey. And I thought maybe you did too. My efforts may not be as eloquent as Pastor Frutick's, but inspiration is inspiration, especially for small business owners as we approach the end of the year. He makes known the path Psalm 16:11 reads: "You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand." Before we even begin our journey, God has a path for us. Each step may come with its own challenges, but with Him alongside us, there is always a way to move forward.  He guides us with scripture, but also through earthly opportunities to learn and experience the support you need. If you are struggling to find a way to navigate your challenges, find a community of like-minded people who know and trust that God is working in them, and in you. You may find a community locally or online in the form of a networking group, a Bible study group, a book club, or a business mastermind. No matter the direction you go Isaiah 30:21 is a reminder that "whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.” There is always a way when we listen to that voice, the Holy Spirit, guiding us. But, we have to believe in Him with a conviction that overpowers any doubt Satan tries to convince us of.   Read the full show notes and access all links.   If you'd like even more scripture, download the free eBook, 37 Bible verses every entrepreneur needs to reflect on and live by. Before you go, I want to remind you that the Success Without Social Mastermind application process is now open. Use Photos to Improve SEO Strategy

Use Photos to Improve SEO Strategy
Have you ever wondered how to use photos (images) on your website to improve your SEO strategy? Chances are, no. But photos can improve SEO when you use them correctly. Here's how. You can and should use photos to improve SEO strategy. Don't let SEO scare you. Using images to improve SEO strategy is relatively simple and can make a big difference in the ability of your soulmate clients to find you. I realize SEO may not be sexy, but it is powerful and can be simplified. SEO is the best and easiest way to achieve long-term success and to grow your business without social media. Note: Within this post, I use the words photos and images interchangeably. In addition, please refer to Episode 37 for additional details on using images to improve SEO strategy. What photos to use in your SEO strategy Start with a professional photo of yourself on your home page and about page. People buy personality, not products and services. Let people who come to your site immediately see who you are  -  your eyes and smile are the gateway to an emotional connection. Your visual presence is key to building your personal brand. In addition, include images of you working with clients, behind-the-scenes activities, customized stock photos of your computer, office space, etc. If you don't have photos of your team, or of you working with clients, use stock photos. Canva is a great resource for stock photos and you don't need a pro account to use them. If possible, testimonials featured on your website should include a photo of the person who gave the testimonial. Where should you use photos on your website? As I mentioned before, you want to be visible on as many pages as possible so that people know immediately who you are. Your header or banner images are real estate to showcase yourself on every page. Every page of your website should have at least one photo. Your blogs should have a featured image which will help your website visitors readily identify what the blog is about - even if only a graphic with the title on it. Every time you write copy for a blog post, think about the keyword or keyphrase of your post and use an image that relates to that. I'll explain why. Photos are a great way to separate large blocks of copy to make your content more skimmable and improve readability. Readability influences SEO. Friday Faith Foundations - Do you feel overwhelmed?
As small business owners, it's easy to feel overwhelmed. Never ending to-do lists and quite often, a one-person show. Growing a small business can also feel lonely if you're a solopreneur. Have you said to yourself, "I feel overwhelmed" as you walk your entrepreneurial journey? I think most solopreneurs feel overwhelmed and lonely at one point in time or another. But Psalms 25:4-5 provides comfort and hope for all of us. It reads: "Show me your ways, LORD, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long." It is common for small business owners, especially solopreneurs to feel overwhelmed. Growing a business is challenging there's no doubt about it. The to-do lists are often long and grow much faster than they shrink. It's easy to think that you don't know where to begin. In addition, you may feel stuck and fear and doubt may hold you back, especially when a launch doesn't go well or someone says no to hiring you. And you may experience confusion because of all of the advice you see online. Or maybe you've hired multiple people to help you, or taken multiple courses, and now you don't know what to do or when to do it.  It's overwhelming, and I hear that from my clients all the time. Belief and faith become very important when you are trying to grow a business Here's where faith and belief come into play. To grow a successful business you need to believe that God has a purpose for you and that there are people who will hire you, who need you to solve a problem for them. You need to believe that you have unique gifts and talents to use to help others. This is where your story and journey to get to where you are today becomes an important factor in your beliefs. Likewise, you also need to believe that your soulmate clients exist and are looking for you. That God has planted seeds in them to seek and find you.     Read the full show notes and access a plethora of additional links and resources.   Success Without Social Mastermind Business Growth Program Apply today: The Success Without Social Mastermind Business Growth Program. Friday Faith Foundations - Do Not Be Discouraged
September. A month of new beginnings. School either started or is starting, mounds of paperwork, after-school activities and games, and a business to run. It can be easy to feel overwhelmed and discouraged.   But you my friend, have a choice. You can choose to not be discouraged and to look at September as the new January and get inspired. Or, the other option, let the overwhelm cause you to overthink and procrastinate. But if you lean into your faith as you move through this busy season, you'll be able to do the work and bring glory to God.   Do not be discouraged, strength is available   We can look to Joshua 1:9 for strength this month, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”   Your days may lead you into unknown territory and an escalation of stress, but you have a choice. Do not be discouraged, for God will give you the strength you need.   In fact, now is the best time to start taking big action in your business. To be bold and courageous and step into your purpose with more fervor and energy than ever before.   Refer to September as the new January - it's the perfect time to look back on the year and do an evaluation   Evaluate:   What has worked and what hasn’t worked? Are there areas that you need to put more effort into?Do you need and want to delegate activities that don’t fulfill you or that you are not an expert at?Where can you eliminate things that aren’t serving you? What systems and tools can you get rid of because you aren’t using them? How can you change or update your messaging to give your audience more clarity? What can you do to create more demand without adding more stress? Can you implement a new visibility strategy?Where can you simplify to decrease the overwhelm as you move into the 4th quarter? What can you automate, what are you doing repeatedly that you could create and implement a process for?Have you met all your 2023 goals? If not, can you identify why and what you need to do in the next 4 months to achieve them? How much time are you spending on social media? Remember, you can grow your business without social media if it's causing you stress.   Learn more about The Success Without Social Mastermind Business Growth Program.   Read the full show notes and access all links.

Create valuable content without feeling like you're giving everything away for free with Michelle Kopp
Creating meaningful valuable content can be challenging, especially when concerned about giving everything - your system or program - away for free. You can create valuable content without giving everything away for free. When you truly know your soulmate client you can address their pain points instead and give advice without giving your entire program or system away for free. Michelle Kopp's Thinking it Through Wins and Wisdom Question Struggling with how to provide value without giving my full program. Maybe I do and then if people need help they work with me. I’m not an expert in all the ways to save or find good deals on things but I am an expert on helping someone get a system to manage their money. I’m the number cruncher so they don’t have to be (in the beginning) and after working with me I teach them how to do it themselves. I empower people to manage their money since many have never been taught. But how do I deliver this value without “giving it all away” in newsletters or freebies? Or do I? Struggling. Suggestions for creating valuable content without feeling like you're giving it all away for free Know your soulmate clients - well! Ideal clients may know what they want but they don’t necessarily recognize what they need.Address their pain points What is it they are thinking about when making breakfast, doing dishes, folding laundry, or journaling before bed? What is it they want more of – time, money? Are they unorganized? Is that causing them to feel overwhelmed? What do they fear? If they are in a state of fear they don’t look at their numbers and therefore don’t have a pulse on them which creates more stress. No pulse on numbers correlates to no idea what and how much they need to do to create more demand in their business or where to cut back personally. All of these things become content ideas that you can address and state how financial management helps resolve them. You aren’t giving everything away for free but you are providing value and letting your soulmate clients know that you see them and understand their pain. The more you share things like that the more they will see you as someone who cares about them and they will trust you.You can provide value without giving them every solution, but dropping solutions periodically is helpful – maybe something as simple as a review of bookkeeping systems, tips on saving money, or tips on when and how often to look at their financial numbers. Many times, they try your advice but won't want to do it themselves – they may try but quickly think back “Michelle told me to do this but I need her to do it for me” Website for Michelle Kopp Apply for a Thinking it Through Wins and Wisdom Feature on The Robyn Graham Show Complete the application for your opportunity to be featured and ask a burning question about your business growth challenges. Friday Faith Foundations - Hard work is always rewarded
Owning a business is not for the faint of heart. It takes hard work, discipline, and determination. The good news is, hard work is always rewarded. Let's face it, owning a business can be challenging. I often hear people say that they became an entrepreneur because it would be easier than working a 9-5. Maybe that's true but I'm not convinced. Entrepreneurship requires a lot of hard work. And that hard work is always rewarded. However, if you don't work hard, you will not succeed, no matter what. Talent is a blessing from above, but God doesn't expect you to hold that talent on a pedestal without working hard to embody it, develop it, master it, and share it. In other words, work hard and use the gifts God has given you. In fact, Scripture has a lot to say about hard work. Success comes from hard work Proverbs 14:23 reminds us: "All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty." This verse emphasizes that hard work is always rewarded by bringing a profit. The opposite, mere talk, results in poverty.  I've seen this over the years when working with clients. Those who were not afraid of hard work, who were willing to roll up their sleeves and dig in, and who didn't make excuses, achieved the profit level they wanted. However, those who simply talked about what they wanted and what they were going to do to get it did not reach their goals. Hard work is always rewarded, especially when the hard work is for God's glory We are reminded by Paul in 1 Corinthians 10:31 that whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, you should do it all for God’s glory. Likewise in Proverbs 16:3, we learn that when we commit our work to the Lord, our plans will succeed.” And, in Colossians 3:23-24 Paul also tells us that whatever we do, work at it with all our heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. Hard work is always rewarded, both from an earthly financial perspective as well as a heavenly, eternal life, perspective. Hard work is always rewarded, especially  when you welcome it and don't complain about having to do it In Philippians 2:14-15 Paul told the Philippians, and it applies to us today, to do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that we may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky. Again, we have a reminder to embrace our gifts and work hard to use them for God's glory.  Hard work is a mindset You want success and therefore you must work hard to achieve it. But even more importantly, posture yourself like Jesus when approaching hard work. Pray. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you and help you discern the action you should take. Doing what everyone else says to do is not the answer. God has given you specific gifts that require certain tasks to use them to help others. Ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom and strength to do the hard work but to bring all glory to God, not to yourself. Pride has no place in a Jesus-like heart. Work hard from a place of humility and all glory will be brought to God. Once again Paul comes to our rescue. In Galatians 6:9 he reminds us not to become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Working hard while maintaining a balance of humility may make you feel weary, that's how Satan tempts us to be prideful. We want immediate rewards and gratification for our hard work. We're all guilty of it at one time or another. But we are works in progress, and we have God's grace to carry us through. Hard work it's never impossible When, not if hard work and success seem nearly impossible because it will happen, scripture provides comfort. Paul reminds us in Philippians 4:13 that we can endure all these things through the power of the one who gives us strength. Therefore, the question is, will you do hard work, and when. We've been called to it and will be rewarded for it - here on earth and in heaven. There's no time to waste. Get to work. If we work hard, we will be able to celebrate like Timothy in 2 Timothy 4:7 in which he says "I have fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith.” This is God's goal for us. We are again reminded of it in Psalm 128:2: You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours. Friends, I'd love to hear from you. Did this episode inspire you to work hard(er)? What were you dragging your feet on that you are now ready to step into action to accomplish? Additional Resources As a Christian business coach for Christian business owners, this is one of the highlights - getting to share what scripture says about working hard to achieve success while glorifying God. Social media is not free marketing
Aug 24 2023
Social media is not free marketing
Social media is not free marketing. In fact, it may be costing you more than you can afford. Nothing good is ever free. And social media is not free marketing despite what you may have heard others say. In fact, relying on social media to grow your business is one of the top mistakes I see entrepreneurs make online. Instead, grow your business without social media, grow your business your way, the way that feels good and is aligned with your values. You don't have to do what the experts say to do. What are the costs of social media? Many entrepreneurs fall into the trap of believing that social media is free marketing and therefore the end all be all of growing a business. Here's what you need to know instead. Social media platforms are owned by businessmen who want to make big money and they do so through paid ads. They are not interested in your business or your success. Algorithms have been created not for you to beat, but for them to drive traffic to the businesses paying the most in ad spend. Because of this, only 2% of the people who follow you on social media will ever see your content. Even fewer will engage with it. Unless, of course, you are paying for ads. And even then, you are at risk of who the ads are bringing into your community. Are they soulmate clients or people looking for something free? If you put all of your efforts into growing your business on social media, you are missing out on lucrative opportunities for long-term growth and a consistent stream of clients. Build the foundation first if you want long-term success First and foremost, the foundation of your business includes your unique personal brand, a website with search-engine-optimized copy and blog content, an email marketing strategy, an overall marketing strategy (communicating your uniqueness and expertise and building relationships), and systems and processes to simplify and automate. Entrepreneurship is not one size fits all. Someone may have a lot of money to invest upfront in software programs, funnels, teams, etc. while others do not. No matter your budget, the best thing you can do is build the foundation first before spending countless hours and resources on social media. Start with a strategy for optimizing your website. Google is much more powerful than Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok. Raving fans do not equate to people investing in your business. When people search for you or your product or service on Google, they are ready to buy. Unlike when people go to social media, they are browsing without the intent to buy. They are simply collecting information. Kind of like getting their toes wet on the beach versus going all in and diving into the waves. When you grow your business without social media and build a solid foundation first, you are more likely to succeed.   Read the full show notes and access all links. Are you using your gifts for God's glory? With Rebecca George
Aug 22 2023
Are you using your gifts for God's glory? With Rebecca George
Often, things hold us back from doing what we’re called to do, or what an experience has led us to. It may be fear, doubt, or it may be a lack of confidence from deep-rooted insecurity. These thoughts and emotions often stem from not being rooted in Biblical truth. And when this happens, using your gifts for God's glory is almost impossible. When you are rooted in deep Biblical truth, even though doubt sets in, because you are human, you’ll know where to turn. When using your gifts for God's glory, don’t let Satan hold you back Listen. If you are in a place of doubt and fear, but keep hearing a voice calling you to something, stop and listen. That voice is most likely the Holy Spirit calling you into your purpose. If negative thoughts are keeping you stuck in a state of doubt, fear, and procrastination, holding you back from acting, challenge the thoughts. Satan is a master of creating doubt and insecurity. But the Holy Spirit is the authority. If you are being called, stop and catch the negative, doubtful, fearful thoughts and challenge them. Are they realistic? Discovering your purpose Using your gifts for God's glory can be difficult if you are unsure of what God is calling you to do. Venn diagrams can be a simplified way to see something visually. At a foundational level, Rebecca likes to say as a follower of Christ, this side of heaven, our job is to go and make disciples. Everyone’s life is different. Our communities are unique and we have an opportunity to impact that to grow God’s Kingdom. The three circles of Rebecca’s diagram are: What matters to you? Friday Faith Foundations - God is on duty even during the sowing season
It's easy to celebrate and trust God when in a season of harvest. But do you trust that God is on duty even during the sewing season? If you are in doubt, I assure you that God is on duty even during the sowing season when you are questioning when the time of harvest will arrive. How do we know that God is on duty even during the sowing season? Let's begin with reading Proverbs 3:5-6, the focus of this message. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and He will make your paths straight. Are you in a seed sowing season or a harvest season? No matter what season you are in and experiencing, trusting God is critical for ultimate growth and success. Fact: When you are in the seed sowing season, what this year has been for me, you may feel unsuccessful. You may feel tired of doing all the things with what seems like minimal results. Stress and pressure, desperation, and frustration may feel like the norm.  But during these times, it's important to recognize areas of growth and to trust that God is using this season to prepare you for the upcoming season of harvest. How to approach and live in the seed sewing season During the seed sowing season do not fall into a negative mindset and the temptation to doubt the Lord. He never leaves you nor forsakes you. He's planted seeds and He's nurturing them - if you are letting Him. Where many of us go wrong is we don't trust and we don't submit ourselves and our businesses to Him and His ways. The emphasis here is on never leaving you nor forsaking you - God is so serious about this that we can find the phrase in Deuteronomy 31:8 and Hebrews 13:5, in both the New and Old Testaments. Remember His ways are the best ways. Here we can refer to Isaiah 55:8-9: “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.   Read the full show notes and access all links.   If you are looking for more Bible verses to refer to and meditate on as you grow your business, download the free eBook: 37 Bible verses every entrepreneur needs to reflect on and live by. Every effective marketing strategy begins with a personal brand
If you want to effectively market your business, create a unique personal brand. The truth is, every effective marketing strategy begins with a unique personal brand. The reason is, you must control the perception others have of you. And that means you must differentiate yourself to build trust and stand out. Every effective marketing strategy begins with your who, what, when, where, and how To create an effective marketing strategy map out your who, what, when, where, and how. Let's break them down. Who is your soulmate client? In addition, who are you? Both are significant when creating an effective marketing strategy. If you don't know what differentiates you you can't effectively communicate with your soulmate clients to tell them about why they should hire you. Likewise, if you don't know your soulmate client, you won't be speaking to those people who need your expertise and will want to hire you. What are your soulmate clients' major pain points that you can help resolve? Can you define what keeps them up at night? What are they thinking about when doing the dishes or getting dressed that they cannot solve themselves? But you can and in a unique way. In addition, what platforms are they using to search for the information they need to get the results they want? What platforms are you creating content for? Is there an overlap? What changes do you need to make to reach your soulmate clients? When are you available to serve your clients? Elaborate on when they need you most and when you learned how to provide the solution they need. Likewise, when have you experienced their pain points yourself? Even more importantly, when and how did you overcome them?Where in your journey have you experienced what your soulmate clients are experiencing now - the beginning of your journey or more recently? Where do you serve your clients, in person, online, locally, or internationally? In addition, where will you market to your soulmate clients? Where are they researching to find the solution to their problem(s)? For example, if you are an entrepreneur who doesn't want to be on social media, where will you share information, on your blog, via email marketing? This is where SEO will become a key component of your effective marketing strategy. Why do you do what you do? Is there a reason you help whom you help? Simon Sinek explains using his golden circle that why is more important than how and what. That people resonate more with why you do what you do than what you do or how you do it.How do you help your soulmate clients get the results they crave? Do you have a proven method or system? Likewise, how do you do what you do? Elaborate on your background, skill sets, education, certifications, awards, life experiences, and mistakes you've learned from, etc. that help you help others. In addition, testimonials help elaborate on how you've helped others get their desired results. Friday Faith Foundations - The Influence of Faith on Business

Friday Faith Foundations - The Influence of Faith on Business
Faith influences life and business in dramatically powerful ways. It's never the end, but the beginning. The influence of faith on business can change your perspective on what's possible, even when the year hasn't gone as planned. The end or the beginning - The influence of faith on business as you close out the year. August can be a very stressful time. Summer is ending. School is starting. For many, you are sending your babies off to high school or college. August is a time of transition. And, if you are like many of the business owners and entrepreneurs I’ve spoken to recently, this has been a tough year to date. Sales are down. People aren’t buying as much. Fear is a very real emotion. You may have questions about meeting your annual goals, being able to save this year, or having to say no when your kids ask for things they need for school. But God is a God of the 11th hour. He always provides. It may be last minute, but he will never let you down. . . if you trust Him. He will provide the resources you need. The words of Romans 15:13 provide a calming effect. “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Instead of focusing on August as the end of summer and allowing negative thoughts and emotions to come over you, think of September as the beginning of the year. September is the new January. I realize September is the end of the third quarter. But it is also the beginning of the end of the year. It is the perfect time to put the pedal to the metal and focus on your mindset, evaluate, and implement a marketing strategy to create demand in your business, and take intentional action. September is not the time to sit back and let the year coast to an end. Knowing that God always has a plan and will not let you down and that through Him there is an abundance of hope, you can focus on strategies to create demand and move your business forward toward your goals. It’s more than possible that in the next 4 months, you’ll meet your annual financial goals. When you lean into faith and ask God for what you want with thanksgiving for all you already have, (Philippians 4:6) He will provide for you according to His good and perfect will for you. The influence of faith on business - stop doubting what's possible. What is He calling you to as you approach the 4th quarter? Have you been listening to the Holy Spirit? Or has the chaos of life pulled you away from believing the Holy Spirit is at work within you, leading you and guiding you? Quite the worry and fear by meditating on Romans 15:13 and listening for what the Holy Spirit is telling you. “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”   Join the email list for updates and important details on The Success without Social Mastermind and upcoming webinars.  Apply for a feature on the Thinking it Through - Wins and Wisdom Conversation on The Robyn Graham Show. Friday Faith Foundations - The influence of intuition on entrepreneurship

Friday Faith Foundations - The influence of intuition on entrepreneurship
Follow your gut! In other words, follow your intuition if you want to grow your business! What is the influence of intuition on entrepreneurship? Before we can answer that question, we need to define intuition. Mirriam-Webster defines it as the power of knowing immediately and without conscious reasoning. And now I ask, is that it? Or is there more to intuition? I personally believe that intuition is a gift from God and it is not something we have on our own. Is intuition a gift from God? Do you believe Jesus has called you to a purpose, to create a business to serve others? What about being successful and making money? Do you believe He wants that for you? I mean really believe with all your heart. You may think your business and your beliefs are separate, but your faith and beliefs do influence your business and the decisions you make. Another question, do you believe that Jesus sent a helper? Someone to live inside you and teach you, guide you, and remind you of all Jesus taught while on earth? He did! And that intuition you feel - is that helper - that counselor - the Holy Spirit - the supernatural authority that helps you discern and make decisions when you ask Him to. If you believe in Christ as your savior, you have the Holy Spirit living inside of you. Maybe you are new to faith or you haven't been taught much about the power of the Holy Spirit, then this may sound crazy. But this concept is biblically sound. The influence of intuition on entrepreneurship In a March 2022 Forbes article, Jazz Gill wrote about the influence of intuition on entrepreneurship. He shared this thought in the article: The true spirit of entrepreneurship is about intuition. It’s about creating and seizing opportunities, making the impossible possible. It’s about building strong relationships and networks to expand and execute on those opportunities. I agree with Jazz Gill on this thought. But we may vary on the source of intuition and the true power it has on our entrepreneurial journies. The opportunities we create and seize are going to be much more impactful and profitable if we think of intuition as guidance from the Holy Spirit. How? Why? Because when we depend on the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we will be able to discern what is right for us, and we will stay aligned with our values, callings, and the purpose God has called us to. In addition, we'll be more likely to set pride aside and humbly follow God's will for us. The more aligned with God's purpose, the more successful we will be. The strategies you need to write content for SEO

The strategies you need to write content for SEO
If you want to be discovered by your soulmate clients,  you must have a content strategy. Content is the king and the most important part of your SEO strategy. When you write content for SEO, you increase your chances of being found on Google and attracting your soulmate clients. What you need to consider to write content for SEO that connects with your ideal clients The first thing to consider when you sit down to write content for SEO on your website is differentiation. When you differentiate yourself through stories you will stand out as an expert and authority in your niche. In addition, you will build an emotional connection with your audience and they will trust you faster. What stories can you share? First, share the story of the journey that led you to where you are today. What experiences, challenges, highs, and lows have you experienced that have given you the expertise you now have? Share your challenges and how you overcame them to get to where you are today. This will help your audience see that you can help them, that you truly understand their pain points, and will be able to help them overcome their challenges to reach their goals. You can also share stories on how you felt God calling you to try something new, to start your business, and serve new people in a new way. Tell stories about your experiences of working with clients. Likewise, share testimonials from clients so that your audience can see and understand how you are helping others. This will help your audience understand the quality of service or product that you offer, and that you help your clients get results. It will also indicate how you get results for your clients. All important factors for someone to decide to work with you. When we talk about sharing stories in your content, don't fear being vulnerable. The level of vulnerability is up to you. But you do want to demonstrate that you've had a myriad of experiences. Marketing is communicating When you think about how you want to write content for SEO, remember that marketing is communication. You build your personal brand and then you communicate what makes you unique. Your marketing strategy should include SEO so that people can find you and learn more about you and what makes you unique. As you think about the stories you want to tell in your content, always refer to what differentiates you. For the sake of SEO, the things that differentiate you become part of your keyword and keyphrase strategy on your website. Knowing without a doubt who your soulmate clients are will also help you fine-tune your keyword and keyphrase list so that they will know you are talking directly to them.   Access the full show notes and all links.  If you are curious to learn more about SEO, download the Intro to SEO for Entrepreneurs video. Entrepreneurs, you need to adopt these time management strategies with Holly Marie Haynes
Time management strategies are key to entrepreneurial success. Discipline and consistency trump talent when trying to grow a business. When you adopt these time management strategies, you will work less and achieve more. Who doesn’t want that when trying to grow a business Time management strategies that work to build your business in 8 to 10 hours a week Eight hours a week equates to 416 hours a year. That is a lot of time to accomplish what you want to do. Set very specific business hours to work on your business. This needs to be non-negotiable. Holly used 6 to 7:30 each morning to work on her business. You can accomplish a lot in a short amount of time, but if you need more time, choose a longer block of time for a strategy session, for example, 6 to 8 on Saturday morning. Set business hours but also incorporate strategic time to focus on the bigger picture. Take at least two hours a week and map out what’s working, what’s not working, and what you are going to change to reach your goals. In addition, use 1 hour a week on Sunday, to plan for the week ahead. When you have little time, create theme days so that you can focus your time and accomplish the most possible. For example, every Monday is the day for creating content, and every Wednesday is the time for podcasting. You can also have a specific day for client calls.
