I have something to confess: I’m not very good at taking care of myself. In fact, I fall out of good habits and go into bad habits consistently. I should sleep more, I should eat healthier, I shouldn’t spend as much time on my phone. And yet it’s all okay. So often we use the routines of self-care against ourselves to say we are lazy and something is inherently wrong with us when we just don’t want to do it a lot of the time. Today on the podcast I talk about what it means to take care of yourself and how this form of love for yourself is not selfish and in fact is the hardest thing you can do for yourself.
