Andrea Knezevic is a PhD Candidate at the University of Wollongong who holds a Bachelor of Social Work (Honours). Over the past few years Andrea has volunteered at several community settings including local Multicultural Council, providing support to youth and senior community members. In addition to this she has an extensive track record volunteering in the Local Health District, working in collaboration with the executive team, management, and frontline staff to implement and sustain staff wellbeing initiatives across the district. One of the highlights of her career was volunteering in the aftermath of the 2019/2020 Australian bushfire, providing immediate crisis support to staff at a small rural hospital. She is a young researcher with a passion for staff wellbeing in healthcare. Her current research is exploring the opportunities and challenges for healthcare workers to engage in wellness activities in the hospital setting.
Let us take you on a journey like no other and hear from real people about their unique experiences on their path to success and inclusion.
