Jobs Blow gets a visit from Nick Girard, a financial analyst and author of the novel, “In The Beginning,” a retelling of the story of creation (Old Testament) where God is the antagonist and Lucifer is the rebel who established the true paradise.  Raised as a Christian, Nick’s insider view of the cost of repeated catastrophes caused him to reexamine his childhood faith and reassess his view of God and his modus operandi – is God truly loving, or is it all a ruse to keep humans engaged and worshipful for his pleasure?
