But this hunk of wood is hellbent on getting her back no matter the difficulty and death that may ensue. Lucky for him one of the enemy members, a pissant named Paul (we forgot and called him Brian), let's his guard down for a pair of goo goo eyes and allows Darryl a chance to take her back. Oh no.. I made that sounds more exciting than it is..

Discussion today is about The Story of Mankind, unfortunately. We torture a guest (The lovely Samantha Kidrick) by making her stand by her word that she'd volunteer an afternoon to my podcasting bullshit. This is low budget movie hinging on Vincent Price to save it but they won't let the man cook. We get around to this… historical (?) movie and it's inconsistencies throughout. We didn’t make friends along the way. (That's why we had to bring one in to start) The real Story of Mankind is in a book the screenwriters didn’t read.

Grab some popcorn, or popped grasshoppers, and don't forget your really wide hats, as was discuss weird things. As much car talk as woodshop in high school, boy howdy.  Eventually we do get out of Flatbush and get to the point, talking about the slapping the crackling and the popping. Maybe one day we can get that ghost out of the recordings but we just learned to love our spooky friend for now. Maybe it's good ol' Earp telling us some secret from the past since we can't go back ourselves.  Maybe that's because the real gunfight was the friends we made along the way.

Discussion today will eventually get to the 1956 film Giant, after we pop off about birds or whatever we do. Just call me T, and avoid my forested wetland. Once again we prove we are a boomer and barely literate millennial but we have a good time with it. Sharing is caring, so over sharing is even more caring and we gonna care all over you.
