Kerri Kasem, a multimedia personality, producer, and writer, has anchored music, talk and entertainment programs for radio and television for 25 years. In April of 2014, she formed Kasem Cares Foundation, a non-profit organization which has successfully passed numerous bills throughout the US to stop elder abuse. Kerri has produced and/or hosted shows for MTV USA and MTV Asia, National Lampoon®, Sprint., America’s Funniest Home Videos, Coming Attractions on the E! Network, FOX News, and UFC programs. She has also co-hosted morning shows on radio, been featured in dozens of magazines, and has made guest appearances on The View, Good Morning America, Access Hollywood, Entertainment Tonight, Extra, The Doctors, Piers Morgan, Good Day LA, Fox and Friends, Greta Van Susteren, among others. Kasem founded the Kasem Cares Foundation to establish and fight for the rights to have visitation and reasonable access to an ailing parent, especially when under the care and control of an uncooperative spouse or sibling. The Kasem Cares “Visitation Bill” has been passed in 12 states with 9 other states adopting a version of the Kasem Cares bill making a total of 21 states to enact some form of this legislation. Among her many humanitarian awards, Kerri was awarded the prestigious Presidential Volunteer Service Award.
