The Road to Grad School as a Dreamer (feat. José Luis Torrez)
The path to graduate school is never easy, but sometimes it is far tougher that it should be. Join Efraín Torres as he interviews his older brother, José Luis Torrez on his experience as an advisor for international and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) students in Malcolm X. College in Chicago, IL. In his capacity as advisor he helps students navigate their way through community college over the countless obstacles that Dreamers uniquely face in their daily lives. Also, coming up on January 2022 we'll be doing an AMA with International Student and Scholar Services here at the University of Minnesota.
