I'm Sorry

Lemonada Media

This is a podcast about apologies. Each week, our hosts unpack the latest and greatest in Twitter gaffes, petty beef, and not-so-subtle shade. Forgive? Forget? Or cancel? Listen to comedians Hoja Lopez, Mohanad Elshieky, and Kiki Monique process our public and personal controversies together. Let’s debate when to let stuff go and when to say #ImSorry.

What’s Going On With Mormon TikTok? (with V Spehar)
Kiki, Hoja, and Mohanad dive into the wonderful world of TikTok with V Spehar, founder of Under The Desk News and host of the new podcast V Interesting. Then, Mohanad tells us why we need to leave Britney alone, and Kiki recaps the latest from the January 6th hearings. Plus, V tells the story of seeing Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.    Please note, I’m Sorry contains mature themes and may not be appropriate for all listeners.    Follow V on Twitter @vitusspehar and on TikTok @underthedesknews. This Apology is Rainbow: I’m Sorry Pride Month Special
Hoja, Kiki, and Mohanad are joined by the epic Chicago drag queen Derry Queen for this special Pride month episode of I’m Sorry. They take a look back at some classic movies that don’t quite hold up in 2022, and celebrate new queer movies like Fire Island and Bros. They talk about gatekeeping within the LGBTQ community, the onslaught of anti-LGBTQ bills cropping up around the country, and of course, rainbow capitalism. Plus, the crew reveals their dream corporate pride collaborations (Himbo Tony the Tiger, anyone?), and Hoja gets not one but two apologies on this week’s Sorry Not Sorry.    Please note, I’m Sorry contains mature themes and may not be appropriate for all listeners.    Follow Derry Queen on InstaTwitter, TikTok, and Instagram @derryqueenhaha.    Do you have someone you need to apologize to? Who Gave Paul and Janie COVID? (with Paul F. Tompkins & Janie Haddad Tompkins)
This episode has everything: pangolin parties, problematic parents, Paul F. and Janie Haddad Tompkins. Hoja, Kiki, and Mohanad sit down with the comedy supercouple to discuss some of life’s biggest questions: What is a smell made of? Who gave Janie and Paul COVID? Whatdo the Johnny Depp v. Amber Heard trial and the January 6th Capitol attack have in common? (Hint: it’s poop.) Plus, the crew reacts to an apology from an I’m Sorry listener, and Hoja makes a gag-worthy revelation that leaves Paul on the verge of vomiting. It’s an episode not to be missed!   Please note, I’m Sorry contains mature themes and may not be appropriate for all listeners.    Follow Janie on Twitter @janiehaddad and on Instagram @lebaneselooker. We Were All Rooting For You, ANTM (with Sarah Hartshorne)
How dare you, America’s Next Top Model?! We have never in our lives yelled at a reality show like this. But following the release of two new articles - for Insider and Bustle - detailing the abusive and traumatic nature of filming ANTM, Kiki, Mohanad, and Hoja decide to sit down with former Cycle 9 contestant Sarah Hartshorne. Together they unpack Sarah’s unique experience on the show, the chaotic methods in which producers tried making TV gold, and the reasons why modern-day viewers are angered by the pioneering program. Plus, Hoja and Kiki are both holding their friends accountable while Mohanad is suspicious of a comedy show attendee on this week’s Sorry Not Sorry.   Please note, I’m Sorry contains mature themes and may not be appropriate for all listeners.    Follow Sarah online at @SarahHartshorne.    You can find out more about our show @lemonadamedia on all social platforms, or follow us on Instagram @imsorry_podcast.    Need help saying sorry? Extending Empathy to Afflicted Actors

Extending Empathy to Afflicted Actors
Because of the surrealistic nature of celebrity life, we sometimes forget that famous people are also subject to the human condition. That’s especially true now that we’ve learned that actor Bruce Willis is retreating from the limelight to deal with an aphasia diagnosis. This week, Hoja, Kiki, and Mohanad talk about the Die Hard star’s health now that the Razzies have rescinded his ‘worst performance’ award. They also recognize the unfair treatment that similarly afflicted entertainers like Wendy Williams, Amanda Bynes, and The Shining actress Shelley Duvall have received from an oblivious society. Plus, Hoja falls in love with filmmaking duo The Daniels, Kiki says sorry to her un-tattooed limbs, and Mohanad casts doubt on Delaware’s existence on this week’s Sorry Not Sorry.   Please note, I’m Sorry contains mature themes and may not be appropriate for all listeners.    You can find out more about our show @lemonadamedia on all social platforms, or follow us on Instagram @imsorry_podcast.    Need help saying sorry? Putting the DAMN in Academy Awards

Putting the DAMN in Academy Awards
Even after recording a special bonus episode just hours after witnessing the ‘slap heard around the world,’ Kiki, Hoja, and Mohanad regroup to dissect Best Actor winner Will Smith’s delayed apology to comedian Chris Rock following their shocking Oscars moment. They also revisit some of the broadcast’s earlier missteps, ranging from Rachel Zegler’s belated invitation following online backlash to the senseless decision to pre-tape multiple awards. And Best Director Jane Campion is certainly not safe from our crew’s commentary after her previous remarks about Venus and Serena Williams. Plus, Kiki wants her time back after watching ‘Deep Water,’ Hoja needs to remove herself from family drama, and Mohanad has strict brunch rules on this week’s Sorry Not Sorry.    Please note, I’m Sorry contains mature themes and may not be appropriate for all listeners.    You can find out more about our show @lemonadamedia on all social platforms, or follow us on Instagram @imsorry_podcast.    Need help saying sorry? The Freedom in Forgiveness

This week, Jaime Primak Sullivan of Tell Me What To Do talks about how forgiveness is as hard as it is important. And she answers listener questions about forgiving a parent, forgiving a spouse, and forgiving oneself.   Tell Me What To Do contains mature language and themes that may not be suitable for all listeners.   Please note, this show is hosted and produced by a team that does not have any clinical or other mental or physical health training. The Brands Are at It Again (with SuChin Pak)
Racism. Sexism. Sizeism. Hitler memes?!? This week, Hoja, Kiki, and Mohanad break down the reasons why some of our favorite brands need to apologize to us alongside SuChin Pak, journalist and co-host of the podcast Add to Cart. They also get into SuChin’s month of no shopping, the second coming of MTV Cribs, and what’s really inside Gwyneth Paltrow’s home spa.
