Welcome back to the Meet The Bus Podcast!
In this weeks episode, I had the pleasure of having one of my favorite teachers I've ever had in the marching arts world, Dan Hoffman! Dan marched the Boston Crusaders on Tuba from 2012-2015 and taught me on the Oregon Crusaders visual team from 2016-2018, and most recently just wrapped up his time on the Madison Scouts Vis Staff which he was on from 2019-2022. I've been so excited for this specific episode to happen since I started this podcast because Dan is one of the most uplifting and positive people I've ever met in my life and he helped me grow so much as an individual and as a performer during my time with OC. We got to cover so many great topics in this episode from Dan's time as a marching member to teaching me at Oregon, and then finding his way to the Madison Scouts right as the Organization made one of the biggest decisions in it's history and Dan even let me ask him my nerdy questions about teaching on the visual side of pageantry! This episode is a long one, but I promise you, you won't want to miss a second of it :)
