A prayer and blessing that has been handed down and has ancient roots that go back over 1000.  In gratitude, we also offer forgiveness to people who were harmed, robbed of their teachings, and forced to live in ways that weren’t theirs. This prayer is based on the belief that the world, our Mother Earth, cannot be taken for granted. The elements.. FIRE.. AIR... EARTH and WATER are sacred and help to create our spiritual connection to all that is. Thanksgiving is a holiday that I have always loved because it was “my holiday” with my kids. It was always a time for us to come together and celebrate the season. But then Thanksgiving has strange stories as to how it came about.  A story that was whitewashed to fit America without really understanding what happened to our Native People. I carry the DNA from both sides.. from settlers coming over and farmers marrying the beautiful indigenous woman. My studies and practices bring forward ancient memories and ceremonies that I cherish in my heart. It leaves me caught somewhere in the middle …  I have come to learn and embrace my own native heritage.  In doing so, I bring forward this prayer of Thanksgiving that I learned about 20 years ago.  This prayer, or address as it is called, has its ancient roots dating back over 1,000 years to the formation of the Law of Peace by a man called the Peacemaker.  I share this prayer in honor of our beautiful Mother Earth and the sacred Elements of life.  May we all come together as one. In today’s episode, I wanted to offer a Channeled Meditation for this great portal of energy that 11/11 holds. We all know the magic of constantly seeing the number of 11:11. When we see these numbers, we feel connected with a greater source of energy, like the Angels, source, light. This energy carries through and opens up your light body even more. Your Light Body is a gridwork of light and sacred geometry that brings together your physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies. The numbers 11/11 have long been associated with the idea of synchronicity, showing up on a clock or even within the mind's eye as a wake-up call. It's like your inner being is reminding you that you are divine. Like when you see 11/11 flash on a clock as you go about your day, it feels that Spirit wants to bring attention to your divine self. You are, after all, divine! As you connect with that idea, your entire being is energized, you have a greater potential to progress spiritually, and therefore, you can move into greater harmony and joy. The number 11 is one of the master numbers and is related to spirituality, illumination, and a balancing of opposites. Examples of opposites include male and female, active and passive, love and fear. We are at a crucial time in humanity.  I feel we are sitting on an edge that could lead us to destruction or peace. I advocate for peace. So the more each of us aligns our light (body), the more we can tip the scales for all of humanity's greater awakening and peace. The old systems are breaking down, but we must continually help make these shifts. I know from my own spiritual practice the growth I continue to see as I break through old patterns for myself, generational patterns, past abuse, and trauma. My work continues to go deeper and deeper into the soul energies for myself and for my clients. It is time to raise your vibration to help humanity. It begins with you. The Merkaba (meaning light-spirit-body) is the energy sphere in which everything exists. It is the vehicle that carries you to the dimensions of unity and love that exist beyond the mind. The Merkaba has been shared, taught and utilized for thousands of years and through many ages of life. Every major spiritual system places ultimate power in it. The Merkaba represents pure divine energy, constantly spinning, harmonizing, balancing, flowing, moving and expanding in all four directions at all times, supporting you where you want to go. The Merkaba is said to provide protection and transport your consciousness to higher dimensions. The Merkaba shape reminds us of the potential power you can wield when you unite your own energies in your heart in pursuit of connection and growth. The Merkaba symbol is a shape made of 2 intersecting tetrahedrons that spin in opposite directions, creating  a 3-dimensional energy field. One points to the higher dimensions and one points down to the earth. The upward and downward interlocked tetrahedrons represent the duality of existence—body and spirit—united in the harmony of a singular form. Together, they are one light. In raising your vibration, there will be the need to release the lower vibrations. Many times in doing this, you have to go through the energies that may not feel so great so that you can decipher what needs to be let go of. The big question is what is it for you that makes you feel alive? What are the old stories that you can let go of, and what is it that you can allow yourself to raise up to? The messages are powerful, reminding you how important you are in this world. Let it begin with you. Humanity is calling all of us to wake up. Your Soul is part of humanity. You chose to incarnate at this time. Your energy is crucial to what unfolds next, impacting your own spiritual evolution and the shifting of the Earth. Thanks again for listening! You may find yourself surprised at some of the things you learn about yourself or others over this lunar eclipse. Lunar eclipses, like Full Moons, are revealing. They reveal the truth in an often dramatic way and let you learn things that change your life course. Of course, we are also in the sun sign of Scorpio .. which could make it feel even more intense. Scorpio energies take us deeper into our psyche to help us understand our patterns. So, how do you work with this? Allow yourself to be open. Slow down. Take time  for yourself.  Know that these changes are ones that can help you to move forward. I know there is so much uncertainty out in the world, so tuning into you, knowing your mind, your emotions, and your Spirit is so valuable right now. This Eclipse occurs for almost six hours, giving you plenty of time to work with its energy. This eclipse is an Annular Eclipse. Or does it scare you to take risks, or do new things? I noticed I had become a little scared of taking risks, of traveling to new places on my own.  I wanted to explore the world but there was a little hesitancy.  Yet my daughter would say to me... "But mom, you left on your own for New York when you were 20.  You raised us on your own." So I allowed myself to look at this through her eyes and decided it was time for me to break free of this fear that had come in since covid and expand my horizons... which is the subject today on the show. My guest is Award-winning memoirist Meg Stafford.  Her latest book, "Who Will Accompany You", shows us her adventurous spirit, and she takes us along for the ride with her daughters. In this episode we talk about risks, travel as a way to understand taking risks, listening, opening up the mind, traveling as a woman alone, breaking out of the old ways, new possibilities, what we can learn from our children, roots, and wings, and how empowering it can be to open up to hearing other perspectives in life. Instead of opening up, listening, and allowing for different perspectives, they find themselves in a battle for control. The more we allow our children to have their own voice, to hear that voice, from an early age, the more they can build confidence in themselves. Providing a safe space to take risks is empowering. Asking our children what their thoughts are about different things sets them up to have confidence in their own voice, a gift we can give our children. Moms don’t have to know everything. We don’t have to be omnipresent. Start with small risks. Change your habits. Go a different route. Find a different restaurant or join a new group on your own. Travel with your children and let them be a part of the plans. Notice what opens up for you and for them. We are in a time that needs new exploration. This system of traditional knowledge is used by various Indigenous tribes, and though the four parts may represent different things (the four seasons, the four elements, etc.), The Medicine Wheel provides a basic framework for representing the interconnectedness of all aspects of life while also offering a physical documentation of important Native teachings. I spent yesterday out at the Medicine Wheel I have created on the land.  It was a mess.. rocks all shifted from the heavy storms we had… weeds growing between the rocks.. grass high from the season. At first, it looked daunting… like my life.. haha… joking but not joking. So I took a walk around the circle and just noticed everything. I like to start in the direction of where we are in the seasonal wheel.  For me, that’s the summer and found in the direction of the South. So I started here, mowing the grass. As I did I noticed the different parts of my summer bringing forward the fun, the growth, the travels, the inner work, and then the grounding. And then I got to choose.  Go forward or back?  Mow the grass in the West for the new season or the East to review my spring? I chose the West, for what's coming and moved around the Medicine Wheel in this manner. As rewarding as it was to see the freshly mowed grass, the weeds, and grass in the rocks along the paths were still calling my attention. And although time-consuming this is my favorite part, moving the rocks, trimming the grass, and pulling the weeds to realign, course correct as I like to say, physically and spiritually. Cleaning up my path to make way for the new opportunities and abundance that will come in. After all the work… I sat in the center and just got still. I breathed and listened to the wind. Cleared the mind. Did some dreaming and just allowed. I love working with the Medicine Wheel. It holds such a beautiful sacred energy. As I was taught, The season of Fall is found in the direction of the West where the sun sets each and every day. The West is a time of gratitude for all of life's lessons.  This is the place where we notice our struggles.  We see the transformation of death and decay as well as recognize all the many things we can harvest this time of year. Fall is symbolic of plenty, ripening, harvest, and abundance. The entire autumn season is a time of melancholy, preparation, and grief. The days get shorter and darker. The fields that were alive with earth's abundance will soon be plowed. The element of Fall is Earth which is grounding us to our life. Earth element allows us to slowly return to our physical presence showing us what can be shed and what we can let go of. Just like the trees that shed their leaves and fall to the ground to decompose, we too must shed the excess baggage we carry to make room for what lies ahead. One of the things I’ve noticed about myself this summer, both kids getting married and coming back from the last trip to the Dreaming House in Teo, is that I am in a gap.
