Marion checks in with Jarlath live from CPAC - Conservative Political Action Conference - or TPAC as it’s now being dubbed. The Sunday Business Post's Washington Correspondent breaks down the surreal reality of CPAC including the panel discussions, whacky merch and keynote speakers which include Nigel Farrage. Marion also breaks down which Republicans have chosen to steer clear of CPAC this year and which ones have shown up. Jarlath and Marion discuss why Ron DeSantis stayed away and the controversy surrounding Conservative Union Chiarman Matt Shlapp.
Moving on from CPAC, the pair continue last week’s discussion on Alex Murdaugh and the Netflix series Murdaugh Murders: A Southern Scandal. Marion breaks down what’s happened in the trail so far and the two give their takes on the case.
Over on Patreon (www.patreon.com/irishmanabroad), Marion and Jarlath talk about the bombshell revelations in the Fox News vs Dominion lawsuit which came to light this week and who the scandal will most likely impact. Marion discusses more CPAC conspiracies, as the two chart the evolution of conspiracy theorists in America. To finish, Jarlath and Marion discuss the Ukraine War and continue their discussion on the derailment of a train in East Palestine near Ohio and how it could impact President Biden’s image.
