If you're going to talk about the dark side of fandom, you might as well look at the bright side of fandom.  In the case of Sanditon, it’s a cause, a  victory, and rejoicing.  As Tom Parker said, "Sanditon will rise from  the ashes as sure as eggs are eggs."  Of course, we cannot forget the words of Lady Denham either declaring, "Like a Phoenix, I am rising from the ashes."  The truth of the matter is that is exactly what happened to the television series and many fans rejoice in what's to come.
