He also serves as the SBRA Subchapter V Trustee at United States Trustee Program for the Northern District of Illinois, Eastern Division. Matthew works with companies, national and global commercial lenders, private equity firms, and key stakeholders in various turnaround stages. He meets each project with the goal of maximizing recovery and finding closure, efficiently and successfully. With a decade of experience, he is well-known and a go-to source in situations which require immediate deployment, strong management, communication and performance. Daniel Morris of Plains CRE joins Navigating Receiverships to discuss a recent Senior Care facility receivership and managing the sale through a difficult process.   About Daniel Daniel Morris, CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) is a founding partner with Plains Commercial Real Estate. He specializes exclusively in senior housing investment sales and leasing. As such, he believes in product specialization and believes that this allows him to help his clients achieve the highest (and best) prices for their assets. This unique product specific knowledge gives him the added insight into the senior housing industry, which allows for smoother transactions and discretion while on-site with potential buyers and tenants. He has extensive experience in the skilled nursing (SNF) and distressed asset space, working across the spectrum with clients ranging from single facility owners to large institutions. Previously Daniel was with CBRE, where he specialized in the sale and leasing of senior housing facilities. Prior to CBRE, he was a part of Canopy Commercial | Auction (which he helped start in 2009), and which was subsequently acquired by CBRE|Oklahoma. He began his career in commercial real estate in 2008 at Sperry Van Ness. His day-to-day functions as President include overseeing the business, leading the firm’s team of industry experts, and advising creditors, equity holders and enterprises as they navigate the many phases of a turnaround, restructure or crisis management plan. About Scott   Scott Yahraus is a positive leader who has demonstrated tremendous achievements in sales and business development. He has great relationship skills and is an effective business strategist. With a degree in economics from Creighton University in Omaha, NE, Mr. Yahraus joins Receivership Specialists as a Senior Project Manager, bringing a knowledge of sales, marketing, real estate, and technology. Prior to Receivership Specialists, Mr. Yahraus led teams that developed business to business web-based platform for claims and judgments; created long-term revenue streams, developed best practice designed to create the highest value proposition for business creditors and attorneys; and developed relationships with some of the nation’s largest real estate operators and REITs who use the platform.
