Youth Awareness Movement: National Autism Awareness Month
In honor of April Autism Awareness Month, BEing outside The Box is highlighting a Mother and an Occupational Therapist’s journey with the Autism Spectrum.
The CDC’s newest numbers suggest that one in every 110 children has autism. Autism is a developmental disorder that appears in the early years of life, and affects the brain's normal development of social and communication skills.
Youth Awareness Movement (YAMe3) was created to educate, empower and enable the Youth of all ages and all abilities in the world. Specialized programs have been created for age and situation specific, and abilities specific children in partnership with their parents, educators, therapists and supporters. The programs empower the Youth with an Autism diagnosis dealing with bullying, test taking and making the grade, family & friendship challenges, peer pressure, and sports activities. All YAMe3 programs are designed to assist in elevating the kids’ self-esteem, self-confidence, and empowering them all while staying in a stress-free environment.
This show invites the Youth, Parents, Educators, Counselors, Therapists & Supporters of all kinds to call in and be a part of the show and ask questions! Like us on Facebook too! Contact us at youthawarenessmovement.com or info@youthawarenessmovement.com
