Brett Chambers serves on the NCCU Lyceum Committee, Hip Hop Initiative Advisory Group, and Jazz Research Institute Advisory Team. A graduate of Duke University’s Terry Sanford School of Public Policy, he also earned his Masters in Education Technology from the NCCU School of Education. Brett is host of Brett's Open-Mic, Durham's staple local artist showcase night now in its 25th Year. This episode goes into the amazing history of Brett's dedication to Durham music and policy education, local artist development, and being a drummer from another mother.
