Welcome  to  Season III.  This is episode I: Behind the Scenes: The Passion of Joan of Arc of 1928 and Joan of Arc of 1948.What is this season about ? It is not about the Waffle House fight on Christmas Day in Austin, and the Avenger employee who caught that flying chair. It is not about Elon Musk’s losing a couple of billions dollars and now becoming the 2 richest person in the world, and definitely this season is not about  the newly released President Trump’s Tax Returns and it is not about  James Cameron’s new Avatar: the Way of Water reaching out almost $1.5 billion worldwide.I am a cinema lover, especially comedy and animation, as you have noticed when I have made some references about some movies in my previous episodes. One of the books I am really fascinated is the story of film by Mark Cousins, who is an Irish director and writer. The book actually focus on the directors, and he believes  because they are the  creative figures in filmmaking and it is not because they want to get all the credits “but because directors are the people who pull the creative bits together  and who oversee that alchemy whereby the words of the screenplay come alive.” Cesar Pesquera, who is a Spanish Director and Visual Artist would say, “the function of a director is to translate that written text to images in movement.”  In this episode I will share some of the behind the scenes aspects of  two films about one of my inspirational muses, Joan of Arc.
