Summer Recap: End the year STRONGER than ever!
Alert! Alert! Episode is a little longer - enjoy!!! Last episode for season 3. Can you believe it? It has been a whirlwind of a season. Thank you to my guests, my podcast engineer (Sharain) and my social media manager (Daniela) for making season 3 a success! This episode wraps it up. Quite Frankly, Sharain and I are chatting as women do about how this summer was for us. I am sure many can relate to our chat. If so, drop a {Heart}, let me know.We recap on all the “ships” – relationships, partnerships, friendships. We talk about having a safe space for your emotions. We talk about business. I give tips on leadership - being an exemplary leader. We talk working that 9-thrive and being a badass about it! We talk about taking care of you! These are all lessons from this summer. As you continue in this 4th quarter and wrap up the end of the year. Don’t get discouraged. Stop comparing yourself to others that you believe are moving faster. You are right where you are supposed to be. I do encourage you to decide on your goals or what you want to accomplish. Commit to those goals, walk towards those goals, and lastly STAY CONSISTENT. The world is on fire! But you don’t have to be. Lean into your strengths. Lean into YOUR greatness.Contact Nicole - she can't wait to talk to you!IG: @thenicole_smithFB: @thenicolesmithemail: nicole@jmscreatesleaders.comwww.jmscreatesleaders.comSchedule some time: https://calendly.com/jmscreativeleadershipsolutions/free-consultation-withnicole

Time To Do An Audit: Check yourself. Mid-Year Check In!
Let's wrap up the first 6 months of 2022! Yes, we are here. It is Summer 2022! 3rd quarter! Let's do this! Can you believe it? It just seemed like yesterday it was March 2020, now here we are in July 2022. So much has happened for you personally and professionally. So, let's check in! *Know your numbers, you know your business! Know your numbers, you know your personal finances and where you stand. This will give clarity on how to move forward. Talk about building that confidence! Data doesn't lie. So what do your numbers say? Is it time to pivot, or do you just keep going being consistent because my friend it may be working!*Motivation! The only one who can motivate you is YOU. Do an audit of what is feeding your thoughts, feelings, and the actions taken because of all of this. Talk about building that confidence! *What's New! Make sure you give yourself permission to celebrate all the forward movement you have made. Good for you! At times, we don't take a minute to say "what's new in my life" that has moved me forward and allowed me to make a significant impact on me and those around me.  What have you learned about yourself? Talk about building that confidence!Take a listen to @Sharain_intherain and I as we chat simply as entrepreneurs, friends, and two gals who have something to say about how we have leveled up...and not afraid to give that unpopular opinion. If you would like clarity on how to unleash your potential, go check out my Clarity To Impact Checklist to help you on your journey!Follow me!IG: @thenicole_smithFB: @thenicolesmithLI: Nicole F. Are You Too Humble In Your Show UP?

Are You Too Humble In Your Show UP?
*Unpopular opinion loading!!!Listen as we discuss what being humble means. It has been ingrained in us to "be humble" and if we go by the definition of being humble, it means to not boast of your talents especially if you are not asked. Wait, uh?WAIT! Are you telling me that I am not supposed to speak on my talents and strengths? This may work for "some", but definitely not for others. This will shrink you! Time to debate! ALERT: Unpopular opinion! How are you supposed to SHOW UP and SHOW OFF? How are you supposed to own your show up if you are going by a definition of humble  that tells you "to be quiet and not speak upon who you are and what you bring to the table." Of course, we art not talking about being arrogant. There is a difference. Being humble means you don't consider yourself better than other people. It's an absence of arrogance. Being humble means that you have the perspective to see that you are as valuable as others, that you make mistakes and that the needs of others and the talents of others are as important as your own. I want to be around people as smart or smarter than me...the learning in that circle is amazing! What does humble mean to you? Question: Are you so humble that you are missing your opportunity to show up...and show off?If you would like to clarity on how to unleash your potential, go check out my Clarity To Impact Checklist to help you on your journey!Contact Nicole - she can't wait to talk to you!IG: @thenicole_smithFB: @thenicolesmithemail: nicole@jmscreatesleaders.comwww.jmscreatesleaders.comSchedule some time: https://calendly.com/jmscreativeleadershipsolutions/free-consultation-withnicole

Marriage & Money: Its a mindset!

Marriage & Money: Its a mindset!
Let me share something with you - Couples that argue about finances at least once a week are 30 more likely to get divorced. Listen…I am NOT arguing about money. Our finances are JOINT.  And that takes TRUST. As much as we want to say “what is his is mine and what is mine is mine”…it doesn’t work that way (for us) in our marriage. Oh, I know some folks will love this one! Marcus and I, chat about how our Money works in our Marriage! I manage the “wants”, he manages the “needs.” Getting married changes your financial life in profound ways. It's not just that you're living together or sharing expenses—you don't need marriage to do that. And while your credit score remains individual, your future choices could be changed by what your spouse brings into the financial picture.  Before you exchange vows, it’s important that you and your partner each disclose your full financial circumstances to each other. Because marriage is a legal and financial decision—the government couldn’t care less how in love you are—you need to know what risks you are taking by binding yourself to another person. Gems we drop:·      Partners should fully disclose their assets, liabilities, and credit reports to each other before marriage. ·      Financial decisions around wedding budgets will affect couples for years—for better or for worse. ·      Marriage can have major financial benefits, especially if you understand the best way to file your taxes as a couple.·      Set up a college fund for your children when they are assigned a social security number (through  529!).Listen to what works for us after almost 26 years!! #trustContact Nicole - she can't wait to talk to you!IG: @thenicole_smithFB: @thenicolesmithemail: nicole@jmscreatesleaders.comwww.jmscreatesleaders.comSchedule some time: https://calendly.com/jmscreativeleadershipsolutions/free-consultation-withnicole
