Don't Count Yourself Out
Don't Count Yourself Out
This week we're talking about not "taking ourselves out of the game". I think this is a good opportunity to remind ourselves that in spite of what it looks like, we've got this handled. We all have dreams and goals that we're trying to accomplish. This is the time where we need to check in and remind ourselves that we can do this. We just have to stay checked into the game. So, let's support each other and make great things happen. Forgive yourself for the mistakes. Learn from them, and keep going. Make sure you're surrounding yourself with content and people that are conducive to a positive mindset. Everyone and everything can't be on the journey when you're birthing a vision. Be honest with yourself about your fears. Speak to them. But, don't let them control you. This is your time. Grace and Accountability
Are you tired of 2022 already? If so, then this episode is for you. This week we're talking about why we need to give ourselves a break.  There's a lot going on in the streets, and we need to make sure we're prioritizing our peace and energy. So, this week let's get real about what we need to do to make sure we make it. We're only 16 days in, so we need get real quick. Let's talk about it!! Previous episodes: Episode 92: "You've So Got This": https://www.buzzsprout.com/851650/9838890-you-have-so-got-this.mp3?download=true Episode 91: "Necessary Goodbyes": https://www.buzzsprout.com/851650/9688781-necessary-goodbyes.mp3?download=trueTips to help you give yourself grace and accountability: Check in with yourself about how you're feeling: Make sure you stay aware of your moods and energy. Take a moment to "sit your butt down": It's ok to say "no" to events and/or people. If you need a break, take that break. Give yourself what you need.Give yourself permission to say "no": Again, it's ok to not be everything to everyone. Figure out how to be what you need for yourself. Give yourself permission to do what you can. Our best will fluctuate based on how we're feeling. Give yourself permission to "pivot": Things aren't always go as planned. That's ok. It will get done. It just may not be in the timeframes we thought it would. That's ok. What's for you won't miss you. Create space and room for moments to engage with people or things that bring you joy. Celebrate ALL of the accomplishments: Everything you do is worth recognizing. Don't just talk about the things that didn't happen. Celebrate the things that did happen. Those wins will keep you going. Speak to yourself with love and encouragement: Speak to yourself with the same love that you give to other people. Grace and empathy are for you too!! Contact information for Pamela &  The Well Done Life Podcast:Please reach out and share your feedback on this week's episode or topics that you would like covered :-)Twitter: https://twitter.com/iampamelaldavisInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/pamelaldavis/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thewelldonelifepodcast/Email: thewelldonelife@gmail.com

You Have So Got ThisNecessary Goodbyes
It's the last episode of 2021. It's time for my rest. So, I wanted to take it very "foundational". Let's talk about the time that we're in, and let's talk about the things we're leaving in 2021. It's time for "necessary goodbyes" before we step into our season of "unending abundance". Let's talk about it!! Meaning of 91: https://thesecretofthetarot.com/angel-number-91/ Here are some of the things I’m leaving in 2021.Overthinking:  I’ve finally realized that I’m equipped to handle anything that comes my way. I’ve learned to give myself space to process and keep going. Overthinking only leads to overreacting, and that’s negative to my health and peace of mind. Not prioritizing  my peace and health (mental and physical): Life is too short not to take care of yourself on all levels. We have to stop treating ourselves like less than. We have to prioritize us above all things. That’s not selfishness, that’s self-love. Don’t let anyone make you feel guilty for that any longer. Not prioritizing my time: Time management is really important to me. Time is the one commodity that we can never get back. Don’t ever feel guilty about taking solo time for yourself. Or removing yourself from situations that don’t add value. That’s it! Living in atlhleisure wear: Yep, I said it. I miss getting cute. So, I’m leaving too much athelisure in 2021. I’m pretty fashionable when I want to be. So, I’m bringing back the fashions. This is going to be my #finerthanfroghairyear , so it’s on!! Regrets: I’ve been good about not holding on to the things that didn’t work out. But, I like to remind myself of this to make sure I stay connected to the right thoughts. It’s easy to let negative thoughts slip in, so you have to constantly work on ensuring that you let go of the struggles and learn for your next level. Not sharing my emotions: You have to let people know that you love them. You also have to realize that you have the discernment to know who deserves to hear that, and who doesn’t. Simply put, everyone doesn’t deserve your love. But, you know who does. Don’t let your fears hold you back from sharing and receiving the love and support you need/deserve. Be open! Not dreaming big: I’ve learned that if my dreams don’t scare me, it’s not big enough. Dream big and be prepared to receive your blessings. It may not come when you want it too. But, if you’re intentional and do the work, it will come right on time. Thought Leaders that I love: Nedra Glover Tawwab:  https://www.nedratawwab.com Check out her book, "Setting Boundaries, Find Peace": https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08LMSS439/ref=as_li_qf_asin_il_tl?creative=9325&creativeASIN=B08LMSS439&ie=UTF8&linkCode=as2&linkId=7cab865665d5263fc6bd6295f45344e6&tag=nedratawwab-20 Alexandra Elle: http://www.alexelle.com Elizabeth Gilbert: https://www.elizabethgilbert.comContact information for Pamela &  The Well Done Life Podcast:Please reach out and share your feedback on this week's episode or topics that you would like covered :-)Twitter: https://twitter.com/iampamelaldavisInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/pamelaldavis/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thewelldonelifepodcast/Email: thewelldonelife@gmail.com

The Jumping Off Point
This week is all about laying the foundation for this season of abundance that we're going into. We're less than 60 days away from the end of 2021. Let's take this time to begin talking about how we want to go into 2022. Let's talk about the power of this time  and what we can do to maximize it. Let's jump off together!!Meaning of 87: https://angelnumbersmeaning.com/angel-number-87-meaning-and-symbolism/ Things to remember while we're transitioning into our growth season: Find time to reflect. You have to look back at the highs and lows to celebrate the successes and learn from the losses. It’s important to not get caught up in what didn’t work. This is a time to forgive yourself for the missteps and/or decisions that lead to this delay. That also goes for people who may have contributed to that misstep. Holding grudges is like taking poison into yourself. Let it go. Letting it go doesn’t mean you have to invite these people back into your life. As you're  reflecting on all of the things that happened this year. Think about how you felt. If the feelings we’re good, what made them good? If it was bad, what made it bad? Remember,  getting to the root of each scenario allows you to  put words/feelings to it. This will be key in setting up your goals and/or boundaries for 2022.So, now that we’ve begun processing. Think about how you want to record this information. You have to hold yourself accountable. Write down the vision and make it plain.  Keep the format fluid to account for life. This isn't a cookie cutter solution. It’s about finding something that you can follow through with. You’re the most important part of this commitment. Alex Elle's website: http://www.alexelle.com Previous episodes: Episode 85 "Welcome To The Self Care Suite" w/Tara Pringle Jefferson: https://www.buzzsprout.com/851650/9440538-welcome-to-the-self-care-suite.mp3?download=trueEpisode 86 "Low Maintenance": https://www.buzzsprout.com/851650/9480649-low-maintenance.mp3?download=true Contact information for Pamela &  The Well Done Life Podcast:Please reach out and share your feedback on this week's episode or topics that you would like covered :-)Twitter: https://twitter.com/iampamelaldavisInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/pamelaldavis/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thewelldonelifepodcast/Email: thewelldonelife@gmail.com

Be honest with yourself and your friends about how you can extend yourself. 2. Extend grace to yourself and your friends when discussing your needs. 3. Be prepared for the feedback you receive. Don't take it personally. Try to understand that they're operating from their viewpoint. What they're saying is a reflection of how they feel. 4. Be open to making changes in your approach. The term itself comes from Greek, where “phobos” means fear and “xenos” can mean stranger, foreigner, or outsider. Yet in Greek, xenos carries some ambiguity. It can also mean guest or wanderer. Things to remember when dealing with your trauma:Can you deal with this on your own? Or do you need to seek out help? You have to acknowledge it, give it the words that are necessary, and then realize that you can't change what happened. You have to decide to forgive yourself for not being able to change what happened. If you can't do this, you should consider going into counseling. It's ok to admit that you can't carry this alone. It's ok to seek out help!! How are you going to hold yourself accountable to make sure that you don't take the trauma back into yourself?  Healing is a 365 day commitment!!

Your words and thoughts are powerful. Give them out with clear thought and intention. 2) Along that line, not everything requires a response. Stillness and Silence are a valuable thing. 3) Find resources that can be there to encourage or focus you on the journey. 4) Take time during resets and reflections to heal your insecurities. Eavesdropping
This week we're welcoming Dr. Shalonna Battle to the podcast  Dr.  Battle is a women’s health nurse practitioner with over 13 years of clinical and nursing education experience. She has a bachelor’s degree in biology from Florida Memorial University, a bachelor’s of science degree in nursing from the University of Miami. a masters of science degree in nursing from Frontier University, and finally a doctoral of nursing practice degree from Florida Atlantic University. Although school has played a major role in her success as a clinician, it is the hands-on clinical experience that has really groomed her into the healthcare provider she is today. She is experienced in caring for women across the lifespan. She manages all women’s health concerns which include, but not limited to common gynecological concerns and disorders, family planning and reproductive care, caring for women who are survivors of abuse and sexual assault, recurrent and chronic vaginal infections, perinatal care, and postmenopausal concerns.Dr. Battle’s philosophy about healthcare is simple! “When it comes to a woman’s body, she is the expert! “A woman  has more knowledge than anyone else about the way her body feels, operates, and responds to environmental stimuli. Therefore, healthcare providers are only here to guide, while she leads the way to  her own wellness and happiness! We're talking about all the things related to women's health. Let's get into it.
