In the 18th episode, the Soul SiSTARs complete their series of the 7 main chakra/energy centers within the body, by diving into a chat about the crown chakra. The crown chakra, or 7th energy center, is at the very top of your head, resting on your crown. It is nothing but pure consciousness, connecting you to the Universe. This complete Universe is also known as ‘Om’. And it’s quite literally nothing personal. When it comes to the concept of the crown chakra, it’s something we all have in common. The truth of it all... It isn't until we can become aware of our other chakras (most importantly our first three) that we can begin to step into our authenticity which needs to be filtered through our heart, expressed through our throat and awakened through our third eye. In their 16th episode, the Soul SiSTARs talk about the 5th energy center withIN the body. They discuss what an imbalanced and balanced throat chakra looks & feels like. In this episode the Soul Sistars bring awareness forth in many ways in regard to the very powerful sacral chakra. This chakra represents the seat of creation; and it houses our reproductive organs, colon, intestines, sciatic nerve, and lower vertebrae (the area where weapons are held). Maria & Samantha build off their previous episode (which briefly covered the main chakras, or energy centers within the body) & take a DEEPer dive INto the root chakra. The root chakra is the 1st major energy center that's located at the bottom of the tailbone–in the perineum for men & in the cervix for women. This chakra’s role is to connect all of your physical, bodily energy w/ the Earth itself. In other words, this chakra grounds you. It’s also linked to everything you need to survive. This includes the act of breathing, eating, sleeping, and experiencing physical security. When this chakra is balanced, you’ll feel a deep sense of peace. Darkness....the unknown...we've ALL been conditioned to fear these aspects of the human journey. The egoic part of us just wants to keep us safe because it lives, thrives & survives IN fear. Our Spirit/Soul/Eternal Energy vibrates IN unconditional love & TRUSTS that which remains hidden to the human. The phrase shadow self, coined by Carl Jung, stated the shadow to be “the unknown dark side of the personality.” Jung also said that “Everyone carries a shadow,” and “The less it is embodied in the individual’s conscious life, the blacker and denser it is.” We ALL have aspects of our personalities that we don’t “like,” but when we suppress these thoughts, emotions and/or behaviors they can take an unconscious hold of our lives & often paint our realities from a limited & victimized mindset. We tend to BEcome the very things we fear & want to avoid. By facing that which we perceive to be “negative” (usually born from traumatic experiences) about ourselves (and others) we begin to bring the darkness to Light, freeing all that is withIN us and only wants our loving compassion, innerstanding & acceptance. This also relates to BEing able to look @ & SEE the darkness that is unfolding IN the external matrix world. By opening our HEARTS & allowing ALL realties to be true we step INto LIMITLESS potentials & possibilities for both our inner worlds & outer ONEs. Shadow work merely means we are beginning to make the unconscious/unacknowledged/unexpressed truths conscious. It does not make these things any more or any less true because they've ALL been there the entire time.
