The Journey
The Christian walk is one that can only be done through obedience by the power of the Holy Spirit. It is not an easy one and to be honest, we fail daily. Part of our failure is due to ignorance. We believe ourselves to be in the right relationship with God due to negligent teaching from the pulpit. The other part is due to our lack of love to the God who first loved us. We may have accumulated knowledge and equate that with loving God. However, knowledge of someone is not the same as love to that person. In fact, our pursuit of knowledge for knowledge’s sake can become an idol. We must this day choose whom we will serve; ourselves or God. The Burden of Sin
