Smoke Up or Smoke Out? The Marijuana Controversy

New Reflections

Jan 26 2013 • 57 mins

Now legal in two states for anyone to use, marijuana is all the more controversial. Medical use has been legalized in many states and is prescribed and used daily. In Washington state and Colorado it is now legal according to state law to grow, consume, and even sell marijuana. Is this the way the rest of the country is going or will the recent trends be reversed? What is really best for society? Weighing in on this topic will be three esteemed guests. David Evans, attorney and expert in drug and alcohol litigation will argue against legalization. Kris Hermes, social activist, will discuss medical marijuana. And Allen St. Pierre, Executive Director of NORML will talk about legalizing recreational use. Tune in for a great discussion with input from all perspectives. As always you can call the show at 866-472-5792 to have your questions answered on the air. Join us Saturday 12-1PM EST, 9-10AM PST on New Reflections.
