Creating a Championship Day with Clifton Muckenfuss
Go Be Great is a mantra Clifton Muckenfuss yells from the mountaintop! One of the first steps toward becoming great is to build a championship day. Join me on this week’s show where Clifton and I talk about dreaming big, building championship days, and so much more.  A common theme at Medicine Revived is that of intentionality. All too often, we enter into a state of stasis and comfort and just go about our workday, and frankly, our personal life is "comfortable" with the way things are. This is not a recipe for growth, success, or wellness. We are in this for the long term and building processes to be intentional is just the first step. Clifton Muckenfuss Clifton Muckenfuss is an Entrepreneur with an extensive background in Sales, Marketing, and Leadership. He has Co-Founded several successful service-based companies, one being a multi-million dollar Home Improvement Company.  With a passion for people, Clifton is hyper-focused on Client Experience, and his companies have won numerous awards for Service Excellence. He / his companies have been featured in Inc. Magazine, Qualified Remodeler, and Remodeling Magazine. He recently became the director of coaching at WinRate Consulting where he helps others create their championship in the work and home life! Living a Growth Mindset with Sam Kaufman

Living a Growth Mindset with Sam Kaufman
If you have ever wondered what a growth mindset looks like in action, then you are not going to want to miss this week’s show with Sam Kaufman.  Your strength of character shapes your growth in medicine (and in life). This can only be accomplished through trials and tribulations. Helen Keller reminds us by encouraging us that "character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved."   The journey becomes the goal rather than the destination. As leaders, many of us are focused on "getting there" without even a clear idea of where "there" is. A growth mindset embraces the journey over the destination. Like traveling, there are going to be good days and some bad days. It's the lessons learned that make all the difference and separate the good from the great. Sam Kaufman Sam Kaufman is an entrepreneur, leader, husband, and father of 2. Sam is a firm believer that we must never stop building ourselves in our businesses, homes, and self. Sam started out as a sole proprietor cabinet installer in a van and grew to 7 figures in under 3 years. He has operated businesses in multiple cities and is an avid core value implementer, standard operating procedure creator, and team builder.  Sam is obsessed with growth and improvement. A natural leader, he is deeply passionate about helping other people become the BEST versions of themselves. Sam hosts the Never Stop Building Podcast, is a business coach and consultant with WinRate Consulting, and is a Forbes Business Council writer and contributor.  What You Will Learn • How to create, implement and live your core values • The importance of a growth mindset toward your overall success • The power of self-preservation in your mental and emotional well-being • How to create work-life harmony rather than work-life balance • How to become a strong leader in your organization and in your home life For the full episode including resources click HERE!

Setting Boundaries to Empower Yourself with Elizabeth Cantu, RN, BSN, CPC
So excited to have Elizabeth Cantu, RN on our show this week. She understands that letting go of old stories and trauma and permitting yourself to set boundaries will help you not only find your purpose but can empower you and the people around you.    Boundaries are essential to your overall personal and professional well-being. The problem with setting boundaries, frankly, begins with the word itself. Boundaries have a negative connotation. It implies a separation from others. It suggests an impermeable barrier where you don’t allow others into your circle.    Quite the opposite is true. Setting boundaries, when done properly, can be incredibly freeing and will ultimately strengthen your personal and professional relationships. A good way to think of the boundaries we are talking about is that of a chainlink fence rather than an impenetrable cement wall.    Elizabeth Cantu, RN, BSN, CPC Elizabeth Cantu is a Certified Professional Coach, Emergency Room Registered Nurse of 16 years. Serving Emergency Room Nurses and First responders to have inner peace, loving relationships, and have a life living on purpose.    She found herself disconnected and on the verge of total burnout due to busy long shifts and holding in the sadness and lack of support at work to process traumatic arrests and dying patients.    The inability to say NO, and set boundaries with her family, friends and supervisors left her feeling resentful and exhausted with nothing left over for self-care, family, and friends. She had difficulty relaxing due to her constant “busy body” and fast-paced, adrenaline-filled work environment. Now she helps others find their true purpose to coach and empower others.    What You Will Learn Why it’s so hard for us in healthcare to say “no” and how to effectively do itHow to set boundaries for your personal and professional well-beingThe importance of providing mental health resources to our colleagues in healthcareThe value of coaching and how to find a good mentor/coach For full episodes and resources
