She talks about going in blind to this new situation and the lack of resources for parents in this situation. Katie gives sound advice on navigating this situation and that makes this episode an excellent resource for parents going through this. Katie’s experiences is also very human and friendly, and provides great advice on ensuring lines of communication exist in the family.
