Both John and Aunie have learned about the faithfulness of God through everyday experiences, leadership challenges, and tragedy. Their stories are very different: when John was young, his family fell apart, and he learned to live on his own and eventually lost his mom to suicide. Aunie’s family is together, but she had a tragic experience in middle school that altered her path.
