The Secret to Control How You Experience Stress

The Secret to Control How You Experience Stress
Send us a textWhat if experiencing stress could be more optional rather then a mandatory part of your life? With the holidays right around the corner, and thanks to a very stressed out question received,  I thought this would be the perfect time to give you a mindset shift around the way you experience stress. While stress can do damage to your health, and life in general, the interesting thing about stress, is that it is something created in your mind. This means, technically, you have control over it. While learning to master your stress levels takes a little practice, this science backed frame work will allow you to begin to not only reduce your stress levels, but help you control things like stress eating, or other stress induced vices.   Dear Mish, How do you deal with stress? I am constantly feeling stressed out, and that nothing I am doing is ever good enough. It could just be how you are on social media, but you never seem stressed. With the holidays coming up, I already feel like I am spiraling. I know I am going to gain weight like I do every year. Money is tight, I don’t know how I am going to be able to afford gifts, and being around my family who constantly is judging me also stresses me out. I just want to hide. To avoid feeling this way I find myself stress eating or doom scrolling, but then I feel bad about not getting anything done. What do I do?*cracks knuckles* let's dive in!  We have opened up 3 spots for Mish Mindset 1:1 Coaching with Michelle- Seriously level up your life!Click here to Apply for 1:1 Mish Membership Coaching    Ready to Ditch the Diets? Is it ok to Fake an Orgasm?

Is it ok to Fake an Orgasm?
Send us a textOkay, real talk: is it harmless to fake an orgasm from time to time? Have you ever done it?   This week on Ask Mish, I’m joined by my boyfriend, and new resident male opinion (for this episode at least), Nick to break down why so many women fake it in bed, what it’s doing to your relationship, and most importantly—how to start keeping it real between the sheets. We get into all the juicy details, like:Why women feel the need to fake it (you’re not alone, but girl, you deserve better)How faking it is lowkey sabotaging your relationship (and your confidence)What to do if you’ve been pretending How to start an honest convo with your partner about what you actually want in bed (and yes, you can totally do this without it being awkward)It’s time to stop faking it and start getting the pleasure you deserve. Trust me, this conversation could change everything for you—emotionally, sexually, and in your relationship.  Dear Mish,I was out to dinner recently and the topic of faking orgasms came up with my girl friends. The group was super divided on the topic, half of the girls in the group were saying they would never, and the others, including myself, said they do from time to time. To be honest, I didn't see anything wrong with it, until I saw the reaction of my friends. One of them said I was rewarding bad behavior lol Do you think it is bad to fake orgasms from time to time? For this one, I wanted a second opinion, so welcome we welcome Nick on this episode of the podcast, our new resident male opinion.  *cracks knuckles* let's dive in!    We have opened up 3 spots for Mish Mindset 1:1 Coaching with Michelle- Seriously level up your life!Click here to Apply for 1:1 Mish Membership Coaching    Ready to Ditch the Diets? The Problem with the Weight Loss Drugs That No One is Talking About

The Problem with the Weight Loss Drugs That No One is Talking About
Send us a textEveryone seems to be talking about the weight loss injectables- and everyone has super strong opinions. There are people who are on it and proud, people who are on them and feel like they are cheating, people who are not on them-but are jealous of those who are, people who would never, and people like me- who just are terrified of needles. No matter what your stance is, I think there is a bigger conversation to be had here- that is isn’t your fault if you feel like you need them. And it’s ok if you feel like you need them, but I promise you, you don’t. This question was a great opportunity to get on my little soap box and explain, I hope it gets everyone thinking a little differently, DM me on Instagram @MishOfNutrishMish and let me know your thoughts. Dear Mish,I am super curious your thoughts on the weight loss medications. I have struggled with weight most of my life. I was never someone who had a lot of willpower when it comes to food. It’s not that I didn’t want to be healthy or lose weight. I want it so badly, but in the moment, passing up food is so difficult for me. When my Dr. recommended I try Ozempic last year, I jumped on it. When I took it, it literally made me cry. I finally had willpower, the voices in my head that usually screamed at me to eat were gone . I have lost 60lbs and a part of me is so happy, but the other part of me is terrified. I know if I ever come off of this medication, the weight will just come back. My brain just doesn’t think about food in the same way that normal people do. Is there something wrong with me? Are there people out there like me who should be on this medication forever? Super curious your thoughts.  *cracks knuckles* let's dive in!       We have opened up 3 spots for Mish Mindset 1:1 Coaching with Michelle- Seriously level up your life! Spicing it up in the Bedroom (not the pumpkin kind.)

Spicing it up in the Bedroom (not the pumpkin kind.)
Send us a textNow that it is OFFICALLY fall, I am open to the subject of spice – but still not pumpkin spice. Spicing it up in the bedroom is definitely more my speed. This week we have a question from someone who wants to start exploring with her partner, but isn’t quite sure how to bring it up.   Dear Mish,I have been with my partner for a while and we are super happy, but for me at least, it’s getting a little boring in the bedroom. I would love to spice it up and try new things with him but I feel so uncomfortable bringing it up. How can I talk to him about this without it being awkward? *cracks knuckles* let's dive in!   This is Ask Mish, formally Healthy(ish) with Nutrish Mish. I explain everything in this episode but the Sparknote version is: In my 13+ years helping women lose weight, I have learned in most cases, the problem is rarely just about the food.    I have watched the people I work with not only lose weight, but gain confidence, transform relationships, get the job, and truly live the life they deserve to live. After the 5432nd time someone told me "you should have been a therapist" I decided to expand my impact, and give the ladies (and gents) of the world my two cents on the things we are all struggling with that prevent us from living our best lives.    We have opened up 3 spots for Mish Membership 1:1 Coaching! How to Have Power Couple Potential: Mastering Masculine & Feminine Energy + Rapid Fire Questions
Send us a textThis week we are covering what I think is such an underrated quality that can make or break relationships. We are told to look for the person in finance, trust fund, 6’5, blue eyes, but no one tells you to look for this.  Dear Mish,My boyfriend is a great guy. Kind, supportive, we get along really well, but there is one thing that has been bothering me- he doesn’t do some of the traditional things I would want a boyfriend to do. He and I always argue about who is going to drive, who pays for things, who is taking the lead planning our dates. I know we are living in a time where gender equality is important, and I don’t want to sound old fashion. Is it hypocritical of me to be feeling this way in this day and age? Understanding the roles masculine and feminine energy plays in your relationship will literally change the game for you and your partner. It's something I wish I knew about sooner. And before you guys come at me, this has NOTHING to do with gender. This episode is a must listen Plus Rapid Fire Questions:1. What do you think of one night stands?2. Who do you not get along with?3. Are your boobs real? (lol)4. Would you be mad if you saw your guy liking girls pictures on instagram?5. What made you want to start a nutrition company?   *cracks knuckles* let's dive in!  This is Ask Mish, formally Healthy(ish) with Nutrish Mish. Fraud To Fierce: How To Overcome Impostor Syndrome
Send us a textThis week we are covering a topic that everyone struggles with, ironically, except the people who probably should- imposter syndrome. This question hit home for me so hard on so many levels  Dear Mish,Women often feel like imposters in things. Like in meetings, even if I know what I am talking about I'll feel like I don't belong there. I was listening to your podcast and wondering if you felt it.I think you're the perfect person for the podcast. You know about everything, you're open, you tell it as it is, but does the thought ever cross your mind like you're faking it? Maybe I am not phrasing it right, like fake it till you make it, but when you do make it?Let me make one thing clear- I never fake it, but here is how  *cracks knuckles* let's dive in!  This is Ask Mish, formally Healthy(ish) with Nutrish Mish. My BF Won't Go Down on Me + Recovering People Pleaser

My BF Won't Go Down on Me + Recovering People Pleaser
Send us a textThis week I picked two questions you asked me on Instagram. One girl who doesn't know if she should stay with or leave her boyfriend, who "is great" but won't go down on her.  Dear Mish,My BF won't go downtown, but is a great guy. Keep him or keep moving? I have my thoughts...The second question is about a woman whose people pleasing tendencies are getting in the way of her living her best life. Dear Mish,Do you have any advice on how to tell people in your life no? I struggle with this so much. The idea of having someone be mad at me after I tell them no, or even worse, not like me, is more then I can handle. The problem is I am burnt out. I am always the one volunteering, getting my friends kids off the bus, picking someone up. How do I stop being such a people pleaser? If only the first girl's boyfriend was more of a people pleaser....lol *cracks knuckles* let's dive in!  This is Ask Mish, formally Healthy(ish) with Nutrish Mish. The Weight Loss Advice Blew My Client's Mind + Rapid Fire Questions
Send us a textIf you love Ask Mish, let’s be besties! Follow me on Instagram at @MishOfNutrishMishOh hey guys! This one is a goodie! You guys have been sending me all the questions about Nutrition/Weight Loss, Sex, Relationships, Confidence, Business, literally all the things! This week I picked a nutrition/weight loss related question for a few reasons:1.This exact scenario played out more then once with my clients this week. I always say September is like mini new year, and everyone gets a little more serious about their health and weight loss goals so perfect time to bring it up and2. I have had this conversation around this problem hundreds of times, but this time, I put a little bit of a different spin on it that really resonated with one of my clients, so thought it would be great to share.   Dear Mish, I have been a chronic dieter most of my life, but I am at the point where I am SO disgusted with my weight. The only time I ever see the scale move is when I am being super restrictive. That means no eating out, no alcohol, no sugar, nothing. When I do this I see results, it is the only thing that actually works for me, but then I always end up gaining the weight back. I can’t be the only one who is struggling with this.   She isn’t! Now, for some fun and variety, at the end of this episode we did what I will call, until I come up with a more creative name, Rapid Fire Questions, where I answer your questions (rapidly) on a number of topics. This week’s rapid questions were:1.How do you know if a situationship is going to be more? 2. What is something quick I can do if I am not feeling my hottest but still have to go out? 3. I am a straight girl, so why do I like watching lesbian porn? 4. What is the hardest thing about owning a business 5. Is it ok to fantasize about someone when you are with someone else? 6. How do you feel about sexting? 7. Is it ok to fake an orgasm once in a while?*cracks knuckles* let's dive in!  This is Ask Mish, formally Healthy(ish) with Nutrish Mish. Challenging My Range Of Advice: Husband Won't Stop Bringing Junk Food Into The House & I Found P*rn On My Boyfriends Phone
Send us a textI have been asking you guys in my DMs @MishOfNutrishMish for your current problems, questions, and situations that are preventing you from living your best lives (Dear Abby Style). And you did NOT disappoint! I picked two questions today to challenge my range:One in my normal wheelhouse where I help a listener who has come across a serious problem in her weight loss journey: Her husband literally will not stop keeping junk food in the house, and she feels like it is sabotaging her success.  The second question (9:40 in) was a STARK contrast. A listener slid into my DMs after she found something that upset her on her boyfriends phone (hint: it rhymes with corn!) *cracks knuckles* let's dive in!This is Ask Mish, formally Healthy(ish) with Nutrish Mish. Promo Code: NUTRISH30  (only $19 for a short time!)*(quick note: little ED trigger warning, we do touch on eating disorders in this episode if this is something you struggle with) Now About this Episode...Guys, this might be my favorite episode ever. I work with so many people who struggle with chronic dieting, emotional eating, people who feel like this is going to be a lifelong struggle for them. It's the all-or-nothing eaters, the emotional eaters, the people who could teach the nutrition class. Personally, these are my favorite people to work with. Most of the time, when we start working together there is a sense of doubt that Nutrish Mish is going to be able to help (because you have probably tried everything) But usually you haven't gotten to the root of the problem, which is your mindset and relationship with food. Alina is a client of mine who is a life long dieter, and someone you can probably relate well to. Watching her transformation the past few months after years of trying has been so incredible, I literally begged her to come on the podcast and share her story. To hear it from me is one thing. To hear it from someone who has been through it- that it is not only possible to lose the weight, but have peace with the weight, the food, eliminate the guilt, the noise in your head,  is going to be way more valuable! So I hope you enjoy listening to Alina's story! I know it is going to help many of you listening! Ready to quit dieting, and see what the hype is about? Promo Code: NUTRISH30  (only $19 for a short time!)Our relationship with the scale can be as toxic as a relationship with an ex. Luckily, unlike your ex, this relationship can be easily repaired with a few mindset shifts. I recently did a social media post around this concept and people said it blew their minds. One person slid into my DMs and said,"OMG! I literally let the scale dictate my mood for the day, and watching your post completely blew my mind, I never thought about the scale this way before" You can see the post here So I decided to an episode dedicated to that post so that you can repair your relationship with the scale, and use it as a tool, rather then something that effects your mood for the dayIn this episode we cover:- How to know if you have a toxic relationship with the scale- Brief overview of what weight loss actually looks like on the scale- Why your weight fluctuates - Why having a mindset shift around it is important - A mind-blowing analogy that will change how you look at the scale forever- How to use the scale in as a useful, helpful tool in your weight loss journeyReady to quit dieting, and see what the hype is about?
