Welcome to the latest episode of the Pure Nintendo Podcast. This week, we kick things off with our usual amiibo update, followed by an in-depth interview with Indie Informer, Jill Grodt.

During the interview, Roger and Jemma talk to Jill about her time with Game Informer and her love for indie games. We also discuss our top five indie games of 2022, counting down to our number one picks of the year. It's a tough choice with so many great titles hitting the Switch over the past 12 months, but the trio do their best to narrow it down. There can only be one, after all.

So, which games make it into our list? You'll have to listen to find out! But if you're a fan of the show, you might be able to guess a few of Jemma and Roger's top choices, including some from recent episodes.

There's a lot to love when it comes to indie games, and there's so much more to look forward to in 2023. Before we wrap up this episode, Jill highlights a couple of titles we should keep an eye on.
