This week, presenter Dan Hall’s guest on In the Key of Q is QBoy. Born

Marcos Brito he is a DJ, music artist, producer, rapper, and dancer.

With five independent releases under his belt, he has helped lead the

way for diversity and inclusion within the LGBTQ community and hiphop.

QBoy chats about his love of rapping, and the toxicity of Section 28

which denied him protection from homophobic bullying at school. As

with so many, QBoy’s life was touched by HIV and for years he battled

with the stigma and shame around his status. He speaks defiantly

about his experiences of HIV shaming on Grindr and Scruff.
