Welcome to the Kings of the Ring. A fictionalized and romanticized re-telling of the 1980’s Wrestling Wars, following the rise and fall of the power brokers of the sport, while offering a peek into the sex, drugs, and muscles lifestyle of the 80’s wrestler and the sacrifices they make for success.
Previously on Kings of the Ring,
Charlie Gotch was humbled in an airplane brawl testing out Shark and Buzzsaw, while son Nelly pushed him to be more open to change.
"Outlaw" Jesse James and Hollywood comedian/movie star Jimmy Buck spent the past year with a long elaborate storyline of him wrestling women while mocking Pro-Wrestling, which lead to a record setting match at WrestleAmerica in the Summer. Hoping to have lightning strike twice, they are setting up a major rematch on the Thanksgiving show with both men appearing on the iconic late night talk show, The Eddie Car Show before tens of millions of viewers across America.
And after breaking his back in a plane crash after WrestleAmerica, Diamond Donny Gold’s rehab has been long and slow, with his back healing but still paralyzed. Miss Kitty has been one of the few supporters of Donny’s after it got out that Chief Waylon Thorpe died from this crash when he was originally sitting in Donny’s seat, but Donny forced him to switch.
Kings of the Ring is intended for mature audiences. Today’s episode would be rated MA for drug use, smoking, profanity, and graphic sexual and anatomical descriptions.
