Did you know the terryfing character, Hannibal Lecter, was based on a real person? Alfredo Balli Treviño was born in Tamaulipas in 1931. He's suspected to have killed and dismembered 20 hitchhikers in Mexico but was convicted for the murder of his boyfriend. On today's episode, Cristina tells Carmen about the real life case that inspired the movie Borderlands (2007) and the Mexican killer that inspired Hannibal Lecter.
