According to the Highland Springs Clinic - Childhood trauma is a frequent occurrence. The SAMHSA’s National Child Traumatic Stress Initiative (NCSTI) reports that by the age of 16, two-thirds of children report experiencing at least one traumatic event. If left untreated this directly impacts on our lives as adults. The sooner the trauma is addressed through therapy, the better the chance to have a full and successful recovery and life.
