Osprey Observer Podcast - Vine Vegan, Danielle Stevens
Vine Vegan - OUR STORY FOOD IS MY LOVE LANGUAGE My greatest relationships and bonds have been forged with an abundance of food cultivated with love and care. Every gathering with friends and family; always a feast. Breaking bread together, sharing laughs, and stories is how I’ve always made deep and meaningful connections with people. No greater joy exists for me than to have my house full of people (family, friends, strangers; literally anyone) and for them to eat a meal I made and leave feeling the love I poured into preparing it. In My Family Food = Love I learned to cook from the most important and influential people in my life; my mom, dad, and grandmother. My family’s journey to veganism was quick and mostly seamless, and rewarding in all the ways. As we swapped our chicken for tofu and our ground beef for lentils; I knew that with every meal, I was impacting the livelihood of animals and our planet. I was setting up myself, my husband, and our children for a healthier future. With every non-vegan friend or family member who marveled over my plant-based delicacies, I knew I could make a difference if more people could enjoy them. I am determined to set a strong example for my kids to have empathy and compassion for the world around us. To hope others will join us, even if just a few plant-based meals a week. As a daughter of a Latino and a Brit, who was born in Hawaii, raised in Europe, and an American through-and through; I was sure to balance everything by connecting my heritage and life experiences when creating the Vine Vegan menu. With this in my heart and support from my family and friends, I bring you vegan dishes that I hope will blow your mind. This is my mission: to bring people together over food, capture the culture of community, and use ridiculously delicious vegan food to do it. I welcome all who are curious, or defiant, or courageous. We want you to eat well and feel good about what you eat. And with every spoonful I hope there to be love, compassion, and open-mindedness. With Love, Danielle Stevens eat@vinevegan.com Plants for Pets has a program where adoption flyers are attached to all take out orders to promote adoption. She has an adoption wall of all the adoptions made through this program. Vine Vegan is the only plant-based eatery in Brandon! Serving coffees, breakfast, lunch, dinner, & weekend brunch. Email: eat@vinevegan.com Phone: 813-939-8463 Address: 2080 Badlands Dr. Brandon, FL 33511https://vinevegan.com/contact/

Osprey Observer Podcasts – Bokor’s Corner, Brian Bokor
You may have seen Bokors Corner on Facebook. The man behind the page is local resident Brian Bokor. For 9 years Bokor’s Corner has been keeping you informed and updated about the growth and development of eastern Hillsborough County. Bokors Corner started as (and still is) a personal hobby for Bokor; a place for him to keep track of all the local community growth taking place. It is for his personal use, but as it is all public record (no confidential information), he graciously shares his finds with the community.Born in Chicago, IL, Bokor grew up in Charlotte, NC and graduated from North Carolina State University in 1986. He worked for Allstate Insurance as a Financial Analyst for 15 years and then opened up a Real Estate Appraisal firm in 2003 with his wife, Sharon, who is both an appraiser and a real estate broker. With the development boom of the current market, her focus has been specializing in assemblage of vacant land.Bokor visits the Hillsborough County Property Appraiser site (http://www.hcpafl.org), which gives you owner info, property location and current use, size of parcel and more.“If you can find those little yellow signs on the project site, they will have the rezoning or file or application number for that specific project listed. This is when you would need to go to the Rezoning, Plans and Permit Information (PGM) Store website to do further research at ‘www.hillsboroughcounty.org/en and search ‘PGM.’”He notes that sometimes you have to dig through several file folders in order to find the information you might be looking for.Bokor loves the interaction with those who use his Facebook page. If you see something while you are driving around the community, let him know and he will find out what is going on. Like Bokors Corner at www.facebook.com/bokorscorner/. Osprey Observer TV - LeHeal Biogenix
LeHeal Biogenix is committed to giving back to the community and supporting those in need. That commitment has prompted them to join forces with The Brothers In Arms Foundation and Regenative Labs to provide much-needed services to veterans in the Tampa Bay Area. Through this donation campaign, the clinic hopes to make a positive impact on the lives of our veterans by providing healthcare services that address pain from damaged tissue. "We are honored to be a part of this initiative to give back to our veterans who have given so much for our country," said LeHeal Biogenix provider Gavril Green Goodman, APRN (Combat Veteran and Flight Nurse with U.S. Air Force). The donation campaign is open to all Marine Special Forces and Recon veterans in the Tampa Bay area who are in need of healthcare services to treat missing or damaged tissue. Instead of covering up the pain with steroids, this type of care addresses the real tissue issue. Veterans interested in receiving healthcare services from LeHeal Biogenix can contact Regenative Labs for more information by calling 1-800-891-3452 x1700 or e-mailing info@regenativelabs.com. LeHeal Biogenix in Tampa, Lakewood Ranch, and Lakeland, Florida, offers innovative pain treatments using the latest medical advances. The practice’s biomedical approach uses substances like stem cells and platelet-rich plasma, collectively known as regenerative medicine. LeHeal Biogenix provides a nonsurgical approach to healing and long-lasting pain relief. The medical team specializes in therapies that stimulate the body’s natural healing processes. Through orthobiologics (regenerative orthopedics), their treatments stimulate growth factors and reduce inflammation, promoting a faster recovery and improved pain reduction. Regenerative medicine treatments are also safe for repeated use (unlike steroids), offering an alternative treatment for joint pain. These natural substances repair or reduce tissue damage at the injury site, delivering long-lasting pain relief. The treatments LeHeal Biogenix uses cause little discomfort and are outpatient, same-day procedures. Osprey Observer Podcast - Pat Simmons, Bikes 4 Christ
Bikes For Christ was started in 2016 with a commitment to helping those in need while also sharing the love of God. Our organization has quickly grown to encompass providing transportation across Hillsborough, Pinellas, Polk and Pasco Counties with a mission to one day be nationwide. By showing God's love through providing bicycles for those in need, we hope to lead them to a life in His eternal kingdom. For several years Patrick (Pat) Simmons was trying to figure out how he could combine his passion for cycling with a cause that could really make a difference in people's lives. At the time he couldn't seem to come up with something that really had purpose, but all that changed after a trip with his church, First Baptist Dover, to Nicaragua in June 2015. He got to see poverty up close and personal and what it was like to live with very little. After he returned, he decided to get involved with his church in helping feed the homeless once a month at Amazing Love Ministries in Ybor City. Pat enjoyed it so much that he started going every week to help feed. He then got involved with a few other organizations that helped feed the homeless and needy and it was at this point he knew that he could do more. There was a real need for transportation for those who were really trying to better themselves and Pat knew he could help. Bikes for Christ was born in March 2016. With just some simple postings on Facebook and Craigslist seeking used bicycles, donations started pouring in. Currently Bikes For Christ receives donations from across four counties and redistributes them through other charitable organizations who work directly with clients and are able to “vet them out” to determine who really has a need. The organization has also expanded to help veterans and seniors with their commutes. Children are also a priority. As Pat states “every kid deserves a bike.” The most important part in all of this is that those who receive bikes know that someone loves and cares for them. “Through giving we show love, and it’s the same love and compassion that Jesus showed us” Pat says. With every bicycle, a Bible goes along with it. “It’s the handbook that gets us through this life and into heaven to spend with God for all eternity.”
