Ella, along with a small group of other "spawnlings" wake up confused, disoriented, near naked, and completely abandoned along a seemingly paradisiac beach. Their experience quickly turns dangerous, deadly even.

A mysterious hologram, implanted into each of their forearms, tells them only their name, the next recommended step for survival, and the encouragement; May the Best Survive.

Otherwise, in this vast, mysterious world, where dangers and dinosaurs abound, they will have to discover and define for themselves what it means to survive . . . and if at the end of their journey, do they have the Will to continue.
