47. The Disappearance of Molly Miller & Colt Haynes
In July 2013, a deeply rooted corruption reared its ugly head in the rural community of Love County, Oklahoma. It all started with a high speed police pursuit, and ended with the disappearance of two people in the backwoods of a small town. Molly Miller and Colt Haynes have been missing from Love County, Oklahoma since July 8th, 2013. Molly was 17 years old at the time, and had just recently met and started spending time with 22 year old Colt Haynes. Their case is saturated in speculation and small town secrets, and obstructed by police corruption. After being passengers in a police pursuit, they fled the vehicle, and while the driver of the vehicle made it back home, Molly and Colt never emerged from those woods. _________________________ Patreon Request a Case YouTube Channel Goodpods: Leave a review! 34. Where is Cheyann Klus?
On November 27th, 2017, 22-year-old Cheyann Klus left her home in Downers Grove, Illinois, taking an uber to visit her reported boyfriend's house for a party. Two days later, just after sunrise, she began sending a string of text messages to a friend, asking to be picked up. When her boyfriend awoke from an 18 hour slumber, Cheyann was gone. Twelve days later, on December 11th, 2017, a call came in to 911 dispatchers... from Cheyann's phone. But on the other end of the call was nothing but silence before the caller hung up. To this day, it's unknown whether Cheyann made that call herself... or someone else dialed 911 from her phone. Investigators traced the call to Mallard Lake Forest Preserve, 20 miles away from where Cheyann was last seen. At least two large scale searches have been conducted at the preserve, but no evidence has ever been found, including Cheyann's phone. Cheyann's official date of last contact is listed as December 1st, 2017, when a friend was reported to have spoken with her. But she has not been seen or heard from since. Her previously active social media accounts have been completely silent since she disappeared. If you have any information regarding the disappearance of Cheyann Klus in early December 2017, please call the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office at (630) 407-2400 or (630) 407-2323. _________________________ Patreon Request a Case YouTube Channel Goodpods: Leave a review! 32. MMIW: Olivia Lone Bear
Olivia Lone Bear was a 32 year old mother of five, and a member of the Three Affiliated Tribes - the Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara Nation. In October 2017, Olivia disappeared from the Fort Berthold Reservation where she lived, leaving behind personal belongings such as her wallet and cellphone. The truck that Olivia had been borrowing from a friend that day also vanished. The search for Olivia lasted nearly ten months. With little to no aid or resources from tribal, state, or federal authorities, Olivia's family was essentially left to search for her on their own. Olivia Lone Bear's death is highly suspicious. There is a reward in place for information leading to those responsible for her disappearance and death. Those with any information are asked to call 1-800-225-5324. Olivia Lone Bear is one of far too many Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women across the United States and Canada. _________________________ Patreon Request a Case YouTube Channel Goodpods: Leave a review!
