#15 Heartbreak part 2

Punch Drunk Vinyl

Aug 24 2021 • 1 hr 12 mins

Welcome to part two of our three part series on heartbreak. If you haven't yet, listen to https://punchdrunkvinyl.com/episode/14-heartbreak-part-1 (part one), or, you know, don't... you do you. This was recorded in March of 2021. In this episode we continue our conversation about heartbreak, mostly because I was in a place where I needed to and partly because we both wanted to talk about it considering we hadn't really talked since that last recording. We both also wanted to talk about our spins of the week too.. which we actually get to this time. Another episode full of raw emotion and feelings. It's a tribute to the friendship Wes and I have and I hope it speaks to the fact that men can be vulnerable and have real, honest conversations with one another. I hope you enjoy it and that you take something away from listening to our journey, but if neither of those happen, well, I really hope you like our music choices. Wes picked Respect the Architect by Blueprint which is an amazing hip-hop album and I chose to talk about My Mind Makes Noises by Pale Waves, a UK pop band that writes lyrics that sad bastards like me connect with.
