Accelerating To 5-Figure Months As A Piano Coach & Creating True Security As An Entrepreneur with Ashlee Young
In this episode, Kinsey sits down with Ashlee Young, a piano coach who helps self-taught adults how to play beautifully by practicing smarter, not harder. Ashlee recently ascended from our signature coaching program to our top-tier mastermind, Female Founders Board. Ashlee shares her journey as she evolves from classical musician to entrepreneur to an industry leader who’s expanded her reach beyond her one-to-one piano studio. More importantly, she talks about what it’s like to have a safety net of skills, knowledge, and tools that will allow her to create opportunities on demand (for life) that no place of employment could have ever given her. Past Episode:Episode 52: Identity CrisisDo not miss these highlights: 00:47 A very special guest is with Kinsey on this episode. 02:27 Ashlee Young's niche is in piano. She’s a piano coach for piano players and piano teachers. 03:02 She loves helping people realize that they can do more than they think they can do and she is so fulfilled in doing it. 03:35 The way Ashlee teaches is by learning how to practice smarter, not harder. It's all about being effective and efficient.04:42 Ashlee shared here about her journey when she applied her entrepreneurial mind to teaching piano online. 05:28 In her young mind she always thought that someday she is going to grow her company. 05:55 But all the business things to go through is usually the least of her favorite part of being an entrepreneur.     06:15 Things change well for her and started to happen during the pandemic. 06:32 The wheels then started turning and she started thinking, how can she move this beyond just herself? How can she create something bigger?07:08 That's about the time that she found and joined the 10K Content Collective group. She knew she needed more information to fully realize and make that big thing into a reality.08:38 On the other hand, she had this mental block for so long about doing online teaching. She didn't know that it would be as effective. 09:00 But once she got through that mental block, the possibilities seemed endless. 09:45 She foreknew that there will be a swamp ahead but she’s gonna learn all that lessons while she is in the swamp.11:09 She shared that the most uncomfortable part of building a business and helping more people is a lot of growing pains. 11:27 Still having a one-on-one student approach and now making the transition to a different kind of business. 13:26 How to put many people through a program and still get the same result one-on-one? 14:26 Ashlee talked about things that she enjoyed that were very unexpected in her as she started to scale her programs. 15:18 The constant improvement is so empowering because she didn't think she could do or be good at some things. 15:52 The confidence in using her voice now in a way that she is expressing what she wants to express. 16:53 It's a very empowering and exciting feeling for her to know that she can have that lifelong journey of constant learning. 18:45 It’s the willingness to lean in and know that it's not going to be perfect. 19:22 It's a lifelong thing that comes from just showing up every day, that consistency, and just doing it.19:49 There’s too much change happening in just showing up. It can be terrifying, but it's so rewarding.20:04 Another skill that she developed is using her voice in content in a way that's compelling. This skill is something she really started to hone in the 10K Content Collective...

The 5 Stages of High-Converting Launches
Do you feel excited to work toward your first (or next) 5 or 6-figure launch? Live launches are the best way to grow your business as an online expert because you can create predictable cash infusions, grow your audience, and elevate your credibility in the industry. Tune in as Kinsey walks you through the five most important stages of launches and how you can prepare to have your highest converting launch. Past Episode:Episode 66: Leverage MarketingDo not miss these highlights: 01:22 This year, the focus is heading from a brand messaging perspective. 01:58 Bringing more content, curriculum, and coaching, around launching. 02:13 It is the core method for producing those high cash injections. 02:30 Live launches create an elevated layer for the business. 02:47 Captivate and Close podcast link about Leverage Marketing. 03:03 “Live launching” can exert the same amount of input, but bigger output. 03:15 It is obviously important to understand what it is because launching can mean so many different iterations of stuff. 03:28 But in this context, “live launching” is the method for opening doors to a program, or bringing large awareness to a program through a vehicle of a launch event. 05:33 There's a very specific process that you are going to walk through that is operating in a high-converting machine.06:45 You need to blend the art and the science of live launching. Science is the process, the fundamentals are the stages. 07:06 Both the art and science of live launching are skills that you develop and fine-tune over time. 07:42 It's a journey and not to compartmentalize around.  08:02 It’s the first experience and the first impression that somebody's going to have of you.  08:31 Let's talk about the five stages of launching. 08:35 The first stage is the groundwork. 08:44 The groundwork is assessing not just the launch process that you're going through but also your offer.  09:43 You should be constantly asking and evolving in alignment with the people that you want to serve.10:26 You need to dial in the one program product or service that you want to launch. Making sure that it is something that people want to buy. 11:25 But live launching an offer that hasn't been proven or tested is really challenging. 12:16 Groundwork is making sure you have a proven offer that you've sold a couple of times. You have clients who have gotten results. This you can bring as social proof into your launch.14:22 Give yourself the space to really see those things through. 14:30 Stage two is the post-launch runway. Just like a plane cannot get into the sky or off the ground without that momentum.   15:15 When we think of the runway, what we're doing is actually creating the momentum and the buzz for the upcoming launch event. 16:28 You want to be talking about it every day. You're finding creative ways to really bring your audience's attention to why they need to be at this launch event and why it's so important for them.18:39 Now, the third stage is the actual launch event. This is the peak. 18:56 The launch event is the most important in regards to really aligning your expertise, your niche, your brilliance, with your audiences.19:19 Everything that you've curated for this launch event is basically going to tell people. 19:45 You want to treat this launch event like it is a paid experience that your people are coming into.20:34 If you are just new to the live launching, start with...
Eliminating The Drama of Increasing Your Prices

Eliminating The Drama of Increasing Your Prices
It’s normal to struggle with the fear of increasing your prices, which is often connected to the fear of losing out on potential clients or appearing greedy. However, it's important to understand that increasing your prices is a natural part of business growth, and it's essential to keep up with the evolution of the economy and maintain profitability. More importantly, your price should align with the value of your offer, your specific lifestyle desires, and your financial goals. Tune in to learn how you can eliminate the price drama for good and become a match for high-caliber clients. Past Episodes:Episode 52: MVP: Speaking To The Top 1% of Your MarketEpisode 69: Build Your Coaching Business Around Your Perfect Client Do not miss these highlights: 00:51 Preparing for our In-person Mastermind with our Female Founders Board and welcoming women all over the country for our Quarterly In-person experience.01:13 It is the way we commit to growing and scaling as part of all our programs 01:22 It is the way we create the connections and where the collaborations are created. 02:07 Although the In-person experiences are definitely more expensive and going to require more work. But the greatest thing sometimes isn't the most convenient.02:57 But this episode is going to be direct and encouraging, of course. It's all in relation to this idea of increasing your prices.03:11 There is always going to be a slightly different type of guidance that we give one client over another. It's going to be dependent on where they're at in their business. 03:29 The biggest thing that comes down to in pricing is really building that confidence level.03:50 There has to be an element of that certainty and competence, even if it scares you a little bit.04:04 It is not about jacking up your prices and under delivering. 04:18 It is also not about undercharging and over delivery. 04:27 The investment is going to be way less than the actual value that it can produce. We should always want that kind of disproportion.04:44 Ten times the ROI with no drama. 05:12 If you are at a place where you are not hitting your revenue goals, but you are over-delivering to your clients, you're going to burn out. 06:28 You want to find a price for your service that makes sense for you. 06:54 Looking from the energetic perspective, you're still responsible for the number of clients that come in, whether it's a group coaching program or a private coaching experience. 07:28 In order to actually make sense, it's so common to set a goal. 08:13 It's important to really consider what your goals are in accordance with what you want to be making that's going to provide a comfortable life.08:37 You can't do that if you're pricing so low and also working so hard for this low-price offers, which is also repelling your best clients.08:56 If you are operating at your highest zone of genius working with your best clients, there should be a price match between those two things.       09:12 If you are putting other people's budgets above yours, this is where we have a big misalignment. 09:43 And so it goes back to what's the biggest problem you can solve for and only talking to those people that want that and can eventually pay for that. 10:03 Marketing to your Top 1%, and Building your Perfect Business around your Perfect Client. Everything You Have Right Now Is Enough To Hit Your Goals This Year

Everything You Have Right Now Is Enough To Hit Your Goals This Year
How differently would you operate in your business if you believed that everything you have right now is enough to hit your goals this year? It’s likely that this thought alone will help you stay focused on only the things that will create the biggest results. In this episode, Kinsey shares how this works and why this is so important to the success of your business results. Do not miss these highlights: 01:20 Let’s talk about the idea that everything that you have, at this moment, is enough to create the results you desire. 01:32 This is very contrary to what you might have been taught, that you need to be doing something other than what you’re doing right now to create the result.02:35 Your thoughts create your results. 02:44 Kinsey here will walk you through how these all come together. 02:56 The results that you create are just a byproduct of your past actions and your past behaviors. 03:44 For example, if you're ever operating from this space of needing more of something, it can also create a little bit of that desperation or needy energy. 04:23 If your focus is on all the things that just create more of that “lack-feeling,” then the result is maybe you grow your following. But how is that actually creating the result for you? 04:56 You have to believe that you can create results from what you already have. 05:08 It will drive a different feeling and different behavior in you. You are going to be doing things that are high-yielding. 05:36 This is how this plays out from a thought-feelings, actions-result, type of model. 05:48 Think about where your time should be best spent.06:20 Now it's about programming different thoughts in you. 06:44 If you continue to look beyond what you have now, you will not learn how to maximize and squeeze out everything that you can with the resources you already have.07:04 Steward the money you already have, and then learn how to turn that into something.07:28 Level your results that are in accordance with the goals that you want to achieve. 07:45 You would probably spend fewer hours working. You will probably spend less time worrying, and you would turn up the volume instead.  08:14 It can be so powerful when you just slightly shift the thinking behind the things that are driving your actions.08:25 Your next year's results will be the byproduct of everything that you built today. 08:52 You align those actions in accordance with the thought of, you already have everything you need at the moment. 09:25 The results you create there are also going to be the foundation for next year's goals.10:11 So stop believing you need more of anything, more certifications or more experience. Everything you have right now will be enough.10:32 Go out and do those highest income-producing activities, so you can also love your business, and spend more quality time with your family. About the HostKinsey Machos, a Marketing Strategist, is also a recovering people pleaser, self-sabotager, and corporate hustler. The 3 Pillars To Creating A 200K Coaching Practice

The 3 Pillars To Creating A 200K Coaching Practice
Growing to multiple six figures is simple. If you’re stuck at 3-5K months and want to break through your revenue plateau to hit multiple six figures this year, this is the episode for you. Achieving 200K+ means building a bulletproof business model that can stand the rest of time. Join our free new (live) training, the 200K masterclass where we show you how to create a premier-style coaching model that’s positioned for high-demand, low-maintenance, and financial abundanceRegister here: kinseymachos.com/200K Do not miss these highlights: 01:17 We just wrapped up our In-person Mastermind experience for our Female Founders Board and it was so amazing. 01:32 Two days together with these incredible women is definitely so high octane and so high in energy, and really mind-blowing.01:54 Now, Kinsey wants to start to leverage her time more, together in person to create, produce, and complete.02:20 Our Female Founders Board Mastermind is a hybrid of one-to-one coaching and group coaching as we're currently recording. 02:32 She wanted these women to walk away with the “streamlined client pathway” in this particular topic.  02:55 Now this isn't a set-it-and-forget-it automated session or automated campaign. That is not what Kinsey is going to teach here. 03:19 When we think about that high-touch experience, that isn't going to come from evergreen funnels or automated systems within the marketing. 03:41 In marketing and selling, we want things that are a mixture of that connectedness with humans.  04:01 Anytime you create, which as creators, we love to create. This is something that we have to really work on as we grow as well. 04:36 Let us start to narrow in on what are the few key things that you can do to get the most out of your time.  04:52 You don't want your business to own you or control your time, so this means doing less.05:04 You have to really assess what is that actually going to cost you from a time and money perspective and look at that over the distance of time.05:50 It is really important to learn here as we talk about the Three Pillars to grow into 200k coaching practice.06:14 It's really important that if your goal is 100k, you need to not make that goal your goal.09:00 If you have been around Kinsey or in this podcast for a while, it's just a reiteration of what is actually important to generate revenue, protect your clients' results, and also not work as much. 09:10 The first pillar might surprise you and it may sound cliche, but it is “simplicity.” 09:39 Coaches offer different tiers in their marketing all over the place. A really complex business model for such a small revenue coming in.10:05 It all comes back to, what is your signature offer. 10:34 At the 200k mark, one maybe two offers, and it is not about giving people options. 10:54 If you give an option, then they have an open loop in their mind. It's really hard to build that immediate like and trust within that sales container.11:46 This may be what you have been taught because there are a lot of people out there teaching these different models of ascension plans and all the different options of how to take people through. 12:43 But at that 200k mark, you really want to optimize the rhythm with that one signature offer.13:55 It really doesn't matter whether it's group or private. It just matters that you build that certainty and confidence within your audience. 14:58 Think about that commitment and that decision level, this is the thing and I'm going all in. It's going to...

Three Ways To Create More Leverage In Your Business So You Can Grow Faster Without The Burnout
Knowing when and what to leverage in your business can accelerate your growth but also protect your most sacred time with your family, with your spouse, with yourself. More importantly, learning how to create more constraints in your business will allow you to have a full and fun life without feeling overwhelmed or burnt out. Tune in to discover where you can create more leverage in your business based on where you specifically are in your business journey. Book A Strategy Session Here: https://kinseymachos.com/highlypaidcoachPast Episode:Episode 66: Leverage MarketingDo not miss these highlights: 03:11 The idea of leverage, leverage, leverage! 03:18 Not to generalize, but women do way more than most with their husbands in the family. 03:48 But still every family dynamic is unique and different. 05:40 It forces women to do business differently, which is their most significant advantage. 06:00 Women have the ability to put constraints on doing business, which allows them to work less and make more. 06:20 How to work less in an increased output? How to work less and still get my clients better results?08:14 There was a time when we all started from zero. Didn't know what to do. It was in that messy action that can give us the clarity to continue moving forward. 08:30 There are actually three leverage points we can use to add more leverage into our business that allows us to work less, and still make more money. 08:55 The first leverage is “delegation.” 10:24 The first entry point into entrepreneurship as a coach, right away Kinsey hired a part-time virtual assistant. 11:11 Whether you are just getting started or you're seasoned, there is an opportunity to create more leverage just through the delegation of your tasks.11:32 Consider the times you're in your zone of genius versus your zone of excellence.  11:54 The zone of genius is the thing you love doing and also you're good at. It’s the highest zone that you want to be working in as much as possible. 12:21 What you need to understand is the energetic financial time ROI that you're getting as a result of that. 13:36 Second point of leverage is your “offers.” 14:05 If you got really good at any one offer, and developed your framework really quickly, this will be a thing that can make you move up pretty fast. 14:28 Take on private clients first, before you try to launch a group coaching program.  14:57 The best way to grow is to have a group program or service that actually gives results. 15:13 It can require you to be a little bit more solid in your framework.15:31 There's a risk there if you move into group coaching, or a scalable offer sooner rather than later. 15:52 Through the one-time money offerings, Kinsey was able to help so many people make more money and make a bigger impact.  16:18 In our mastermind group experience, they're actually creating more results for themselves, because the full brilliance that's represented by the mastermind is just not by one person. 16:56 Every time a client comes into our Female Founders Board (FFB), we start to map out that scalable offer. It does look slightly different for every single person.17:26 It is strongly recommended for you not do the design, the launch, and the growing of your scalable offer without guidance because there are so many nuances there.18:20 The biggest piece of leverage that you can...
How To Make Better Decisions

How To Make Better Decisions
When your brain has an “open loop” running, whether you realize it or not, you expend a lot of unnecessary energy. It’s like when you have all those tabs open on your phone and they're running down the battery in the background. This is why being indecisive drains you and keeps you stuck. In this episode, Kinsey gives you a framework for making better decisions so you can move faster, create bigger results, and never doubt yourself again. Do not miss these highlights: 01:55 There's a lot of blame around coaches, consultants, or service providers, for providing the same service or feeling all the pressure is on them to deliver.02:33 Be very committed and dedicated to making that experience worth it for yourself and your business in your life.04:12 Think about showing up both in our lives and in our business. 04:37 Going out of a season of just moving through the motions, which is why we became an entrepreneur in the first place. 05:15 Really quick, let us learn about a powerful lesson on decision-making.05:20 Queen, which is our 3day virtual workshop, helping women build or see that framework for a category of a coaching business. 05:36 We're coaching clients and helping them build those sustainable foundations and create that extraordinary business.     06:40 When we think of those decisions and eliminate decision fatigue, we have to build the skill in decision-making. 06:49 How to make decisions, what space to make decisions from, and what to avoid after making those decisions.06:8 The first thing to really understand is, there is no right or wrong decision. The only decision is “the decision” that you make. 07:26 There's one path only one way to success. 08:01 You can eliminate so much unnecessary suffering when you just believe that there is no right or wrong decision.08:11 The worst way to make decisions is to not make decisions at all.08:20 The majority of women flounder in this indecision and the amount of energy that is extracted is insane. 08:40 Indecision brings you into the constantly open loop in your brain in your body, that's just generating energy.09:03 We have to close as many loops as possible.09:40 The other piece to that is then understanding what are the thoughts behind the decision you're making. 10:15 Pressure releases and you have more clarity to make the decision that's aligned with where you're going.10:31 Here's the most important piece to all of this. It's what happens after the decision. 11:03 You may either subconsciously do this or consciously, but this happens all the time.11:39 When you decide it's the right decision, you commit to making that decision work. 11:56 When you make a decision, but then question the choice that you made, you waffle. And you only play halfway, instead of full out.12:43 You just have to keep moving forward. You have to continue to make decisions from that space. 13:06 You cannot create the results you want if you only have one foot in the door. 13:38 Knowing that the path to success isn't in the path. It's your decision. It's you moving.14:03 Thoughts are what create our feelings. You need to pause until you gain awareness of the decision itself.14:33 Simplify this so you can eliminate so much of that energy wasted that exists in indecision, and keep moving the needle in the best way forward.  About the HostKinsey Machos, a Marketing Strategist, is also a recovering people pleaser, self-sabotager, and corporate hustler. Identifying Your Upper Limits
Jan 31 2023
Identifying Your Upper Limits
As humans, we all have a unique set of perceived limitations. Anytime you try to reach for something beyond those limitations, you will experience a set of challenges that will either keep you where you are or push you to your next level. In this episode, Kinsey shares about the four core hidden barriers that Gay Hendricks discusses in relation to your Upper Limit which he talks about in his book, ‘The Big Leap’.At the end of this podcast, you will be able to see where you’re running up against your Upper Limit and how you can stop the pattern of self-sabotaging (even if you don’t think you’re self-sabotaging).(Reference: The Big Leap, book by Gay Hendricks)Do not miss these highlights: 00:45 One year older and wiser! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KINSEY! Ready to soak in a more profound level, the gratitude, the joy, and the fulfillment ahead. 02:11 On the other side of that wisdom is a feeling of so much more to learn. 02:21 Then the more that you learn, the more that you realize that there's so much that you don't know. 02:31 Let’s talk about your “upper limit” and the different concepts or methods of this. 02:50 Within the context of an identity crisis, it is the idea of separating from a former version of yourself and stepping into a new one. 03:08 A lot of times when we have to bust through the other side of that, it requires you to also bust through an “upper limit.” 03:23 It's this perceived limitation that is what keeps people stuck. 03:44 As you evolve as an entrepreneur, as a woman, you're going to notice these breakdowns to breakthroughs, and it's all related to these upper limits.04:01 The book “The Big Leap” by Gay Hendrick, is so good at talking about the “upper limit.” 04:16 This whole concept that we basically self-sabotage because there's this limitation that exists whether it's subconsciously or consciously04:59 What Gay Hendricks does is actually talk out the four cores of “upper limits”05:08 One of these is ultimately going to continue to keep you below the limit. 06:15 Constraints are important. They create discipline, they create focus, and create parameters for us.06:33 The four different types of “upper limits,” will help you think about what is your upper limit.06:52 A correlation to one of these barriers, he calls them the “hidden barrier,” which is basically an upper limit that you can't necessarily see.07:27 It'll be helpful for you, once you actually understand and become aware of it, it's so liberating.  07:51 The whole book is about these patterns, what to do, and how to move through them. So go on and read the book. 08:03 The first “hidden barrier” that he talks about, is this barrier that's basically feeling fundamentally flawed.08:12 It's something that is related to you not feeling capable of doing the thing, or that you're missing something.08:35 It is the worst thought to have because it just remains an open loop in your brain. 09:08 The other thing that he notes is the related fear that comes with you making a full commitment to living in your full zone of genius that you will likely fail. 10:00 The second barrier that he addresses here is disloyalty and abandonment.10:27 This is common when people are starting to see their lives as extraordinary, above the average.11:15 If there's really no acknowledgment of expansion, and you have this idea that if I grow, if I am successful, it means that I'm leaving people behind.12:05 If it is a very deep-seated or deep-rooted belief in you, it will come up and basically become your limitation. 12:34 The third “hidden barrier” is this belief that more success brings a...

It's really more of an immersion, and it's going to be called “Queen.” 02:25 It is designed to help you become the category leader that you already are. But also to help you see how to match your external circumstances to that feeling.04:00 This is for you and this is free! That is just so awesome!04:35 We know that we want big, but we can not gain that clarity right away.  05:06 Rising to the top by just doing what you know how to do best and making sure that everybody knows that. 05:19 It's not about living paycheck to paycheck, but experiencing that financial freedom. 05:26 So over the course of three days, we're gonna go high, and we're gonna go low.  05:39 What it requires of you to become number one has nothing to do with years of experience, how many credentials or certifications you have, or how many testimonials you have.06:08 We're going to talk about really unleashing your untapped expertise. 06:58 And then we're gonna talk about your category of one message. 3 Questions To Ask Yourself To Attract High-Caliber Clients

3 Questions To Ask Yourself To Attract High-Caliber Clients
Knowing your ideal client isn’t necessarily going to increase your revenue, increase your profit or grow your business. In this episode, Kinsey shows you how to identify a higher caliber client that’s actually ready to invest in themselves and invest in your solution (and make a change). Do not miss these highlights: 01:40 In your season of rest, recovery, and reflection, give yourself permission to be there. 01:54 Knowing when it is time to sprint or when to start to pick up the pace in your stride or your jog. 02:07 We just wrapped up Wealthy Coach Week 2023, and it was so good!02:17 One of the things that we went deep into is identifying who are your wealthy clients. 02:24 Build a high-revenue, high-impact, profitable coaching business, without burning yourself out. 03:00 When it comes to your paid programs and services, make sure that you are targeting somebody that has the extra funds to invest in you and in themselves. 03:27 It's also about people that are ready and willing to do the work they need to do to get the result that you can help them get. 03:51 These are really important to consider when you are narrowing in on the premium version of your client and putting your time, your energy, and your resources into it. 04:11 There are three questions that I want you to ask yourself in order to really think about who your premium client is.04:43 To help you accelerate your results by zoning in on where the opportunity is.  05:21 First question is how far along in their own journey my client needs to be in order for them to be a good fit for my offer. 05:53 What we want to do is really understand where our clients are, and where ideally we want them to be in their transformative journey with us.  07:07 I want you to ask yourself, where is my best brilliant utilized? 07:38 When you're marketing and selling your offer as a coach, you will serve differently. 08:32 Helping them to get to that next level, versus somebody that has just had the awareness.  09:17 Second question that you can ask yourself is, what are they already investing in order to solve the problem that you can help them solve?10:01 There is a difference between somebody that says they want results, but they're not willing to put the work in. Versus somebody that says yes, they want results, and they're willing to invest time, willing to invest energy, and effort, in order to get results.10:31 It's super exhausting to work with people blaming you as the coach for their lack of results. 10:44 It gives you clarity and it gives you lots of angles to draw from, in order to really think about that type of person as your perfect client. 10:56 You can leverage those things to show them why my solution is better, more, a better fit for them, etc.11:30 It really helps you to think creatively out of the box. Show and demonstrate more value to your ideal clients, specifically, that higher caliber client. 11:53 Now number three, how are they demonstrating whether or not they have a growth mindset or a fixed mindset? 12:07 People that say they want something, but they're actually not willing to go after it. 12:22 What qualifies a client as somebody that has a growth mindset?  12:52 If you can think about the things that those people value that have a growth mindset. 13:28 If you can really zoned in on that variation of your client. What they're doing and the values they hold. Show them that you match a lot of those values. 13:56 Come to the space and say, “I'm going to help you get to a million without sacrificing the life

Becoming A Six Figure Speaker with Megan McCaleb
Whether you want to be an official “speaker” or not, it’s likely that you desire to drive impact for others. This means the world is your stage. In this conversation, I bring on a very special guest, Megan McCaleb, who is an expert at public speaking especially for those that know they have a story inside of them waiting to be unleashed. You’ll gain so much insight into listening to Megan share how she’s been able to build a profitable business around her unique brilliance and how she’s able to capture the hearts of audiences (on and off stage). Do not miss these highlights: 00:55 Special guest and a second time in this podcast is Megan McCaleb.  01:23 She is a comedian, and now teaching the principles of improv and comedy to help businesses and coaches. 04:04 What she considered a success is doing things in her groove in the most effective way with her skill set and with her passion.05:06 When you are doing it from that space of fun and potential, then people will see why you love it, and then it works better. 06:04 Success didn't just happen overnight. When we expect things to happen faster for us, or we expect them to go a certain way, that's where the disappointment comes in.07:52 The imposter syndrome will come in. But then if you literally have it in proof, you can see it.08:37 What was the true hustle, or the struggle, or the journey? To be successful, one always have a long track record of continuing to put in the work. 09:26 The craft of building a business that you want. Doing things in the way that you used to fantasize about and really intentionally visualize it.10:12 Invest in business coaching and really take everything seriously. 11:07 What does putting in the work or committing to something, mean and look like?11:21 Building the business stages.12:40 Always think about things that can help you refine your public speaking and other abilities. 12:55 The work is, if you have the vision, you have to be the one that actually does it.13:29 You have to be honest about which things could really make money and which things can't. It's a lot of adjusting and pivoting. 14:11 Constantly out there refining her message. Staying true to who she was, and being honest about which elements are actually working and which ones are not. 15:56 She is very mindful of who she allows in her space, personally and professionally. 16:40 Listening to what the other speakers were saying. Getting a vibe for what they were talking about so that she could enhance what's going on.17:55 She's gonna soak in it for a second, then she will take an action. It's exactly what she coaches people to do. She has to practice what she preaches.18:32 Not just making money or making an impact. But it's also this deep self-exploration, and learning to know and love ourselves. 19:34 Paying attention to what she does when she's by herself. What types of thoughts are going through her head, and how she spends her day. 21:21 A desire to do something, but it just required a little bit more waiting. 21:32 The concept of Ovation. 22:00 Always thinking about how she can help people. She very much believes that a lot of her success comes from serving.  22:46 She had to keep experiencing things herself. Taking inventory and listening to what her clients were asking for.  24:23 The things that she literally lacked in order to get paid more as a speaker, to show up as an authority, to look legit.24:42 To pull together the whole reason she does what she does. She remembered feeling incredibly compelled to share a very personal story.25:29 The theme...
Build Your Coaching Business Around Your Perfect Client

Build Your Coaching Business Around Your Perfect Client
Building a thriving coaching business requires you to also love your business. It’s difficult to grow something you’re not fully aligned with. In order to do this, you’ll want to design your entire model around ONE THING: your perfect person. To apply to work with Kinsey, join the waitlist here: kinseymachos.com/femalefoundersDo not miss these highlights: 01:32 New chapter, new vibes, New Year, and while that's all fun and nice, the energy and the emotion that comes with the actual transitional period is the most enlightening, and also the most frightening. 02:11 When you are evolving into a bigger and bolder version of yourself, you're also shedding old habits, old behaviors, or old thought patterns, which is not a clean process.03:42 Here we are, we're showing up and we are going to roll into the New Year with excitement.03:56 Designing your business for your perfect client.04:36 How designing your perfect client or perfect business connects to discipline, focus, patience, and delayed gratification. 05:16 We waste a lot of time, energy, and effort, chasing something that doesn't needed to be chased. 05:36 In this episode, Kinsey offers the concept of designing your perfect business or client, that can save you wasted time, energy, and money. 06:13 Going through all the painful lessons that she has to learn is how she gets the right to share this.06:34 After listening, she wants you to walk away with curiosity and a fresh set of eyes, looking at your business model and making sure that you are working smarter and not harder. 07:22 Let us go back to that eighty-twenty theory. 07:35 Eighty percent of your revenue is generated from twenty percent of your best clients. 08:01 Put ourselves at risk by doing things or spending time on things that may produce some result, but it's not a multiplied result.08:30 One offer, one message, one platform. You do not need hardly anything to get to a 100K. 08:55 You don't need a lot. You just need a good offer. Meaning you are serving a client that wants what you possess, and that you serve them well.09:29 As you're starting to grow up in revenue, what tends to happen is you will layer on more complexity within marketing, sales, and operations.09:47 You're moving away from the core central point of what your business is meant for, which is a perfect offer for a perfect client. 10:05 Master your one offer to make it better for that one perfect client. 10:20 Consider how you can serve less at a higher quality. 10:46 The constraints within that mean that you're saying “no” more often than you are saying “yes”. That can be very, very scary for an entrepreneur. 11:38 The person that will get results. The person that you want to help more. 12:07 Help a version of your client that isn't as far along in their journey as they need to be in order for you to get the maximum results.  13:03 Your business is not meant to serve everybody. 13:29 Think about the highest value that you can bring out, that will drive your marketing, your selling, and your offers. 13:53 Meet the people that are ready and going to buy, and they're going to pay the right price for it. 14:05 You're naturally going to grow because you're getting better and bigger results for the right people. You're going to be attracting more of those people. 14:14 You're going to have incredible social proof. Your brilliance is spent and being transferred to your best people.14:26 When you work with unfit clients, it will not feel fun for you. That means you...

Each day is designed to go deeper into the core element of helping you design your road map,09:04 Day one, engage the “mind” to help you identify yourself as a wealthy coach. 09:22 On day two, we're going to talk about “designing a map.”09:47 Choosing a method and designing a map. It's hard to get somewhere if you don't know where you're going. 10:24 This is where people start to get confused or overwhelmed. And generally, more often than not, you don't hit your goals. 10:52 You have to have a plan, and if you stick to that plan, you will more likely to succeed.11:48 We're going to go deep there on days one and two, of wealthy coach week. We're going to design the map game.12:07 Most people don't even set goals, they don't have a revenue target. 12:47 The new year energy that initially drives you forward quickly fizzles out. And more often than not, quarter one never goes as planned. 13:05 It's really hard to stay as planned if you can not self-coach yourself or have somebody guide you through to stay on track.13:19 If you don't have a sustainable map to get you through the entire year as your compass, you will fizzle out, and it will be so hard to stay the course. 13:32 On Day three, we're going to talk about the “method”. There are so many different ways to grow your coaching business. 13:58 The method that you will need to choose is the method that is aligned with your personal goals, your personality, and what you desire to have in your business. 14:09 We will introduce particular methods to you, but more importantly, package them in a way to give you the three core pillars of a sustainable business.14:37 Stay in the method which again goes back to the map and not get distracted.14:46 Day four is about your “message.”14:53 We call this “the million dollar message” because one message can take you to millions.  15:24 That one message is going to inform if people buy from you or not. It's going to impact your whole...

The Top 5 Online Marketing Trends All Coaches Must Know For 2023
There are subtle, yet powerful shifts happening in the online marketing space that are impacting how people consume your content, how they come to trust you as an expert, and how they will decide to invest in your programs, products, and services. If you understand what these shifts are and can effectively execute against them (or with them) you will automatically have the competitive edge. Tune into this episode as Kinsey shares the top 5 trends in the industry and how it’s going to impact you as a coach.Past Episode References: Leveraged MarketingMistakes To Avoid When Growing A Community As Part of Your Paid ProgramFemale Founder's Board Waitlist: https://kinseymachos.com/femalefounders Do not miss these highlights: 02:35 It's been such a beautiful year, and I (Kinsey), always do or usually do an episode where I'm just reflecting on lessons learned for the year.02:58 The core concepts or the really big shifts that you'll be seeing in the coming year and how they apply to you. 03:23 It's really just setting the stage for the year. What do you want it to look like? What are your targets? What are you focusing on? 04:18 As I've been setting the industry trends and have been listening to a lot of the experts in this space, and have also for my own observations, what things have been changing.05:03 I really want to offer the five trends to look out for in 2023, and how they apply to you from the perspective of my own lens, but also what I'm hearing and seeing at large.05:32 Just doing what you need to do to create content that converts and serves clients, there really isn't much more to worry about. 06:03 Now, if you're growing to multiple six or even seven figures, this is where we really get to have a lot of fun with some testing and layering in your marketing, your messaging, and your selling efforts.06:14 Last episode, I talked about Leveraged Marketing, which is again, another advanced technique if you're growing beyond six figures. 06:25 It’s about your capacity to take on additional things because you have the basic fundamentals. 07:01 Let's talk about the five trends you need to be aware of as a coach in the online space as it applies to your business, and how the industry is shifting,07:11 Number one, attention span is shorter than it's ever been before.  07:27 So if you think you have a certain amount of seconds to capture someone's attention with your content, that actually has slightly gone down. 08:36 This means that you need to have a more clear message, simple. 09:03 How quickly you can grab somebody's attention and convert that attention into cash. 10:39 If you don't articulate the problem and solution you're providing, you will lose that attention, or you will never gain it in the first place. 11:43 Let's talk about number two, it’s about Organic Marketing. 11:59 My expertise is Organic Marketing. It is what I had leveraged to grow to my first 100k and even beyond. But those who have never actually mastered Organic Marketing, they were only doing paid ads. 13:38 We also did paid ads, but we actually did it so well this year, and I'm super proud of this.13:58 Seasonal leaders and experts in the industry, are now focusing on Organic Marketing so they can see those profit margins grow.14:37 When I am going to hire somebody, whether it's a contractor or even an employee, the first place I go to is social...
Leveraged Marketing

Leveraged Marketing
When you’ve got your offer dialed in and you’re feeling more rhythm in your marketing, the next step is for you to create more leverage with what’s already working. In today’s podcast episode, I talk about a concept called Leverage Marketing. This will be the one core element to your growth to 200K+ (with less effort). When you implement Leveraged Marketing well, you will be able to:Consistently fill your cohorts with clients with one core client acquisition method. Get known for your brilliance in a much more expansive way. Build your pipeline full of high-quality leads so you’ll never run out of clients. Create more control in your revenue (like flipping a “switch” and being able to predict your monthly revenue). At this point in your business, as you reach 200K, 500K or even 1M, your biggest discipline will be built within the constraints of doing LESS (but better). Female Founder's Board Waitlist: https://kinseymachos.com/femalefounders Do not miss these highlights: 03:06 Let's talk about Leverage Marketing. This is a really fun concept that Kinsey has adopted.  03:07 She wanted to bring more of this in the industry because for her, this is ultimately the key to success when you're starting to grow your business. 03:45 In the 10k Content Collective, you'll be learning how to get clients by mastering the fundamentals of online business. 03:59 If you don't have those fundamentals, you can't pull a lever, or create leverage in anything.04:12 People try to bypass a lot of the basics, and a lot of these key critical steps. 04:26 People are selling them the strategies and the super advanced things without really having the fundamentals in place in their business. 04:49 You just need to know how to master getting clients with your organic content, or your organic conversation, and that's the fastest path to clients now. 05:02 In the 10k Content Collective, part of the method that we teach you is leveraging the easiest points, in what you already have, to get clients. 05:21 You just have to grow your proficiency as a coach, and learn what your people need. And the only way you can do that is to coach clients and get paid coaching clients.05:43 You do all those things, or you create all those things through the journey of coaching clients. 06:00 The basic business practice is, you just need to know how to market to somebody and sell them something they want, period.06:18 In the 10k Content Collective, we teach you these fundamentals in the most basic way.06:26 First clear the clutter of what you think you need in order to grow faster. 06:34 Second, get coached so that you work through the mindset piece, which is huge in our program.06:38 Third, we teach you how to create content in a way that converts followers faster, without you needing to work harder, or add bells and whistles to your website. 07:02 In our 10k Content Collective community, they're getting clients right away just with these super small shifts. 07:15 Then you're starting to really see the potential. Your belief and your competence is getting bigger. You're starting to work with clients to get them results.07:39 Having a proven and tested offer. Something that somebody wants, and also is proven to get results is another thing.07:58 This isn't by putting them through a curriculum, or modules, or anything like that. 08:01 This is the first phase of business, where we highly recommend you work with people intimately, and get them the result they came for. It's the easiest thing to...
Overcoming Your Fear of Group Coaching & Scaling Your High-Ticket Offer with Callan Faulkner

Overcoming Your Fear of Group Coaching & Scaling Your High-Ticket Offer with Callan Faulkner
If you’re wondering what it looks like to grow a high-demand, high-income business with your clients' results at the forefront, this interview with a special guest Callan Faulkner, is a must listen. Callan shares her journey from exiting corporate to making 6-figures fast and then learning how to scale her offer so she could earn back more time while still providing a high-quality service to her clients. Listen in as Callan and Kinsey share similar experiences and the values they hold as experts in their industries. Do not miss these highlights:00:50 Special guest this episode Callan Faulkner. 02:03 Her background was a technology consultant in sales. She was doing sales selling CRM implementations. 03:17 In a lightbulb moment if she can teach land investors how to automate their business, and build systems with a little bit of the background on the rational side.04:00 This fear around security and stability against going into entrepreneurship full time. 04:25 But we have to recognize that no job is secure or stable.  04:33 What you have created for yourself, or the skills that you've learned, creates more stability and security because nobody can take that away.  04:51 The ups and downs of the emotional rollercoaster of owning your own business. 05:05 She was able to fully exit and not go back to her old job. She now starting a business with really good affiliate relationships.06:09 You can believe in yourself and believe that there are so many ways to make money. 06:31 Our biggest challenge in climbing that ladder of entrepreneurship is, the focus and the discipline not to take the opportunity.06:45 Once you get to a certain level, you know you have a skill set, so you need to have your blinders on to focus. 07:45 Callan’s life was when she was still working in the firm versus what her life is like now? 08:40 The nagging stress and anxiety of making less than six figures, and grinding her butt to the ground. 09:21 But now for the most part, she’s been able to shift her life around, put herself and her family first.09:59 First iteration of her program, the Eight Week Course. How has it evolved and some insight of where it is now. 11:21 She created a course. She doesn't have a curriculum. 11:32 She didn't have it built. She didn't know what she was demoing. She was just creating new things every week.  11:47 She learned she wanted to give everything. So after that, she learned that it was too dense, and it was too much in eight weeks. 12:15 So she tried to flip it on how she can teach something that is not as dense. A little bit easier to roll with.12:31 One of the things she learned in our Mastermind Group is to really focus on one offer. 13:01 Through this evolution, she just got more niched and more narrow by taking clients to take it on. 13:27 The clarity comes from working with those clients. So just get clients.  14:08 This is a common trait of every successful entrepreneur. The willingness, just trying it, just doing it.  15:11 It doesn't need to be so dense. They just need to know we're all in this together. I'm setting goals for you, I have expectations for you. It's a completely different energy shift.15:42 Now she has evolved, She is now offering her core offer and it was really a high touch. 16:00 As she gets more clients, and gotten really good at what he do, people are chasing her down.16:45 How did she even take in more clients when she’s doing all this one to one work?19:31 She was grinding. She would spend Friday afternoons do about four, three or four...
How To Coach Inside Your Group Programs
Dec 6 2022
How To Coach Inside Your Group Programs
Coaching clients in a group container is different from coaching clients in a one-to-one experience, but building the proficiency of both is important if you plan to create global impact and generate high-revenue months. Tune in to learn how you can master this skill as an expert so you can amplify your income and your impact.  Past Episode References: How To Design Your Curriculum For Your Group Coaching ProgramMistakes To Avoid When Growing A Community As Part of Your Paid ProgramFemale Founder's Board Waitlist: https://kinseymachos.com/femalefoundersDo not miss these highlights:01:25 The three core elements of a scalable offer. 01:31 A scalable offer is a container where you can serve one to many clients. This would be different from you in a one-to-one coaching client relationship. 02:36 A scalable offer allows you to bring volumes of people through an experience at once and get them results, or get them what they need.03:11 The coaching element of your scalable offer, likely your group coaching offer, is one of the most common in our industry.  04:42 Remember that people want their problems solved. That's it. They have found you or they're attracted to you in order to solve that.05:17 A lot of you understand the nuances of the different types of offers in coaching. But most people don't really have that understanding.05:37 The best offer is your unique framework, and your unique experience that you're going to take them through. 05:59 How will you coach one person in a group setting? Or what does that look like?06:08 If you haven't experienced a scalable offer, as a client or as a consumer, come see our group coaching program on how we do it in the 10k Content Collective group.  06:46 People with the best and most reputable programs, are people that have been in several different masterminds or experiences for themselves.  07:05 A lot of coaches and consultants are trying to create something without investing in their business. Or even trying to create something without having done it themselves.  07:23 In our 10k Content Collective, we do really well in our offering of the infrastructure that is meant to support volumes of clients. Also the three elements, curriculum, coaching, and the community, ours is solid. 07:48 Coaching somebody in a group experience, you need to learn how to hold space for one person while other people are there.08:12 Most people will learn more by hearing others get coached than they will from getting coached themselves.08:42 Just by hearing other people experience similar challenges will allow them to feel so much lighter.09:04 Having that group dynamic creates this camaraderie, and this commonality that we're all in this together.09:17 As a client you will get so much. But this is your responsibility as the leader to set up expectations ahead of time,09:55 This goes back to when we're talking about the Community. It is telling people how you expect them to behave. Or what are the parameters within that.   10:16 Tell them ahead of time that they will get results just by being there. 10:49 The coaching element of your skill of offer is the catch all. Your curriculum that you've designed, which is the framework.11:05 If designed well, it's the only thing they need.
How To Design Your Curriculum For Your Group Coaching Program

How To Design Your Curriculum For Your Group Coaching Program
On today’s episode, Kinsey dives into one of the three core elements of scalable offers: curriculum. Previously it was about Community, and now, curriculum. 04:23 It is really overlooked when it comes to creating some sort of experience where many people can get results without necessarily needing a lot of your time as the expert. 04:38 Curriculum is the material that people are responsible for learning, and applying the meat of your offer.05:07 If you don't have curriculum that can basically stand on its own and get somebody results, you will not be able to effectively move volumes of people through your scalable offer. 05:23 The curriculum really creates that base learning. 05:48 In our 10k content collective, the four core pillar curriculum in there is around irresistible offers, magnetic marketing, content that converts, and value based selling. 07:39 But not having that solid framework to walk people through, you're gonna end up doing people a disservice07:55 Curriculum becomes essentially the promise pathway. This is something that is definitely sort of tossed around in the industry. 04:50 What are the mistakes that coaches make in building community within their paid programs,05:07 This is not like a free Facebook group. This is related to having a community that is a part of your program. 05:23 In our 10k Content Collective is a coaching program, where we give you the tools to attract and enroll clients consistently with your organic content. 05:48 It is the community that we curate that is the total vibe and culture of the clients. 06:30 Something that's overlooked can be the most important asset to your paid coaching programs.06:40 Community could potentially make or break your brand and your clients experiences.07:02 Your client community will grow your business for you, because they're going to love it so much, they're going to be out referring people to you. They're gonna be clients for life. 08:30 It's one of our core initiatives in any of our client programs. We really thoughtfully curate our communities. 08:58 It shouldn't be just a checklist item when you add a Facebook group, where you just funnel those clients into a community. 09:30 A community should be a joy and culture of what you want your brand to represent, and what you want people to feel when they're connecting to your brand. 10:35 If you're not getting what you want from them, as far as how to engage or interact within that community, it's basically your fault.10:46 But truly, you are the coach and the leader, and that is where the responsibility comes from.11:14 But there should be clarity on what your business is. Is it a company or a personal brand? That's where there's going to be a huge gap.11:27 If you're growing to multi figures, these are the elements, the softer skills, and strategies, that people want to overlook. 12:01 The truth is, you cannot have that notoriety and the thought leadership in your industry without the culture piece. 12:17 The first thing to do is really consider what is the culture of my brand or my company? What does that look like as far as my client community goes? 12:26 Another thing is to really think about...

Helping women regain their energy, lose weight, feel their confidence. to make menopause the best time of their life.06:32 She had invested in other programs to learn different selling techniques. She was encouraged to do webinars and do Facebook ads. 06:42 But all she was bringing into her group was not her dream client. 07:10 All the while she was selling a program, and not selling their issues. She wasn't helping them anywhere. 08:22 It was actually her own journey, her own issues in menopause that she was dealing with that led her to decide she wanted to be a coach. 08:32 Because she was able to help herself, she knew that she had to help other women in menopause.09:06 In coaching, it is through our own transformation or result that we experienced ourselves that we decide to be a coach. 09:29 Helping others should show them that there is a better way and it's a very natural progression. 10:10 But even if the sales page is up, doing a webinar, or thinking that you're doing great. But still, it doesn't convert.10:35 Creating conversations up to the selling point, but in a “serving is selling process.”10:38 Coming from the heart and not coming from a place where you need this money. You're coming because you want to help women. 11:10 Now there is giving in serving, and not just trying to take something. 11:39 Creating content that helps and serves people but also brings them to you. 12:24 Bringing in all the time that gratitude feeling during the call. It's just very spiritually driven with a higher connection conversation. 14:05 Not to overcomplicate everything for ourselves. People are just in pain and they want somebody to tell them how to get out of pain. 15:58 You need to move out into the DM, and have that real conversation with the client. 16:19 Being able to serve from that place of gratitude. Moving it over into that sales conversation and just saying, “I have...
