When you first become interested in intuition it tends to open the door to other areas and modalities. One area I see my students get really excited about. Crystals! Not only are crystals pretty to look at, they each have their own unique energy. Let’s talk about all things crystal, including how to pick the one that most wants to work with you.   The Energy of Crystals  Most Crystals are rocks and stones formed by processes deep in the earth, however they can be lab created. Crystals are unique stones that can contain a large amount of energy for their size. Each different crystal will have its own unique energy signature or vibration. This is why some crystals more closely align with certain chakras or certain uses. This is why they can be so useful in healing.  Choosing a Crystal for Your Intuitive Language  The vibration of certain crystals will be better aligned with certain intuitive languages.  The Seer may need a different crystal than an Owl. An Empath may need different from the Channeler. It depends on your uniqueness and which way you are receiving intuitive messages. Listen to find out the types of crystals that will enhance your energy in each language.  Common Crystals Used to Enhance Your Intuition  Listen as Whitney gives you a chakra by chakra guide to stones that enhance their energy. She even goes in some pairings that are the typical matches for some intuitive senses. But it all comes down to you. If you feel guided to use a certain crystal on a certain area, follow that. Here we are again. The holidays are upon us and you may be starting to think about gifts for your friends and loved ones (whether you like it or not). So I wanted to do a quick review of options for gifts by intuitive type. The way people receive intuition is the same way they best receive energy and information. If you truly want your loved one to feel the energy with which you chose their gift, this guide is just for you. Gifts for the Seer A Seer is someone who gets intuitive messages through vision. They either see their messages with their physical eye or in their mind’s eye. The best gifts for seers are the ones that engage their vision or imagination. Gifts for the Owl The Owl processes messages through their auditory channels. They are the type that may have to talk something through to make a decision or will just know the right answer when they hear it. Owls are going to prefer gifts that engage with their hearing. Even if the gift is simply a deep hearted conversation with you. Gifts for the Empath Empaths feel information. Anything that is sentimental or creates a connection will be wonderful for the empath. With them, the thought really does count. Have you heard them mention something they might want or need? If that becomes your gift the story and sentiment of you remembering will mean as much to the Empath as the gift itself.  Gifts for the Channeler Channelers experience information by knowing in their body. Since the Channeler is so connected to the body, experiential gifts are perfect for them. For the Channeler it’s best to gift them something to do whether its and experience or a tangible gift they interact with. The Channeler needs to be in motion to receive. Gifts for the Other Languages If your loved one has either of the secondary languages of tasting (clairgustance) or smelling (clairalience) messages, you’ll want to choose gifts that appeal to those senses. Candles, essential oils, or specific special foods you know they love are all great options. This week is all about releasing blocks. This is the time of year we start thinking about what no longer serves us. With that goal in mind I’m gifting you a meditation within this episode to help you release any energy blocks or anytime you may just feel a little stuck.  Safety First  Before beginning make sure you are in a safe place where you can relax and focus on the meditation without distraction. In the US we are entering the Holiday season. This means lots of family gatherings and other get-togethers will be coming up. You get exposed to people (and their energy) that you don’t normally have contact with. If you’re energy sensitive these additional social interactions can be overwhelming. Today I’ll give you some tips on how to navigate all of this and still protect your energy.  Best Ways To Side-Step Awkward Conversations  There are a number of gracious and respectful ways to not speak about topics you find private, even when asked. It is your choice what you share and don’t share. Let me share some of the redirection tactics I’ve found helpful.  Think of Protecting Your Energy This Way  There are methods you can use to “shield” your energy so to speak when you are in group settings. Listen to get one of my most effective methods and find out how it's just like putting on your underwear.  What Crystals Can Help Protect Your Energy  As with using crystals for any purpose, it starts with the individual. Use what you feel drawn to and what works for you. Many of the stones that I find work very well are clear stones. They may have color but it wouldn’t be vibrant or dark. Amethyst and Citrine are 2 that come to mind. I’ll also share why Citrine may be one of the best stones for this use. I do also find grounding stones can help transmute some of that energy and I’ll give you some examples of those as well.  Make Yourself This Promise When Protecting Your Energy  Set boundaries ahead of time. Get clear with yourself on what behavior and topics you’ll find acceptable and which ones will be off limits. You can also decide how long you intend to stay at the gathering versus trying to pull out once you are caught up in the energy of the day. These decisions become promises you make yourself in order to make your energy a priority as well.  How to Get Comfortable Saying the Uncomfortable  There really is an art to saying no. And once you’ve mastered it and released it you can release the fear of being uncomfortable and be able to say no from a place of love. Spiritual Awakenings don’t feel like rainbows and roses when you’re in the middle of it. Often we’ll even feel a little unwell physically and sometimes even mentally. Having a spiritual awakening is a strong sign that it’s time for you to make a change in your life. So let’s get into the what, how and why you’re going through this awakening journey.  What Actually is a Spiritual Awakening?  You come to a time in your life that you simply can’t move forward without learning and integrating those existential life questions. Why am I here? What is my purpose? A spiritual awakening is when you realize now is the time to look internally for your truth.  How to Know if You’re Going Through An Awakening  Knowing will be unique to the individual but it comes from a soul level that change is inevitable. The awakening process will lead you to know who you are at the most authentic level.  Symptoms of a Spiritual Awakening  During an awakening we know something has to change but we may not know what. During this time symptoms can range through the gamut. Does it seem like everyone else, except you, is getting what they want? Do you feel like you have trouble getting what you truly desire? Well let’s look at some ways to bring in what your soul desires.  The First and Most Important Step  Have you ever heard “If you don’t ask, the answer is always no.”? Well that’s absolutely true when it comes to making it clear energetically what it is that you truly want. Put your desires out there and make sure they are in alignment with your true self.  A Counter-Intuitive Tip To Fast Track Your Soul’s Desire  The most powerful thing you can do when it comes to getting what you want is to not care if you get it. HuH?? That’s right. Let go of the outcome. Be ok with not knowing how, or when, or from where this thing will come into your life. Let your Guides and the Universe do their job.  It’s Like Dining At A Restaurant  When you place your order at a restaurant, do you follow the waiter into the kitchen? Do you hover over the chef as they cook and tell them how much and of what ingredients to put into the dish? No. You place your order, then sit back and relax and wait for your meal to be delivered… Trusting that you will get exactly what you asked for or better.  Taking Action Is Not Always a Good Thing  Doing something just for the sake of doing it does not get you closer to your goal. It is simply expending energy needlessly. Unless it is an action that is moving you toward your goal or something that your Guides have placed before you and guided you to do, then it's most likely useless. Take action, but be sure it's inspired action.  Be Open to Changes and Pivots  This goes back to letting go of the outcome. How Spirit leads you to what you’ve asked for may look nothing like what you envisioned but that doesn’t mean you won’t get there. Go with the flow. Allow Spirit to work on your behalf. And follow what they intuitively tell you to do.  Practice Receptivity  We have to remain open and available to the opportunity when it presents itself. If we are too focused on action we may actually miss or block the chance Spirit gives us to embrace the thing we’ve said we want. We need to make sure all the limiting beliefs have been cleared out so we are willing to embrace our “want” when it is delivered.  Get clear on your desires that align with your purpose. Don’t you wish sometimes Spirit would just spell it out and tell you what the heck to do? I bet we all have. We’d love to have a play by play, but our messages aren’t always that clear. Here we will talk about some of the reasons why this may be happening.  Clearing Your Mind versus Thinking  There is definitely a difference in receiving a message into a mind that’s clear versus a conscious thought. I’ll explain what exactly happens when you’re thinking while trying to receive guidance and not allowing them to come in through a mind that is clear.  Adjusting Your Vibration With Your Guides To Get Clear  Working to develop your intuition and sensitivity is critical to receiving clear messages. We do that by raising our vibration so it is easier for our Guides to meet us where we are and communicate. The good news is you have a specific Guide completely dedicated to helping you do that. Listen to find out who that is and how to work with them.  Why Relying on Signs Is Not Always a Good Thing  Sometimes solely relying on signs may convince us that we should do a certain thing or make a certain decision. “I got a sign so I have to”, even though you don’t feel inspired to do it. This is a prime example of not following your intuition. The gut feeling was the message not the external validation you were looking for, and eventually misinterpreting. Here I will give you some practical questions to ask your Guides when you have a big decision to help you look more toward your own intuition versus waiting for a sign.  Being Ready When The Answer Comes  Are you ready to take action when that crystal clear message comes through? Let me walk you through how we sometimes get in our own way of clarity and how to avoid it. This episode is part 2 of a series on overcoming energy burnout. Yesterday on Emily Aaron’s podcast, Aligned & Unstoppable, (in part 1) Emily, Kristin Dwan, and I discussed some common current trends causing energy burnout, as well as how it affects us personally. In this episode we are going to finish that conversation by giving you steps and tips you can use to overcome burnout.  What Releasing, Cleansing, and Detoxing Your Energy Looks Like  Emily and I discuss what phase we each are experiencing right now as we are in the process of replenishing our energy. Each individual can be in a different phase, even as the collective energy affects us as well. Cleansing and detoxing will be specific to the individual but we will share some of the actions we’ve taken to let “stuff” go.  If You Feel Like Nothing Is Working, Do This For More Endurance  When we are in burnout we may feel like nothing is working. In those times we need to have tools and tricks we can use to gather our endurance to make it through the situation. Overload is a big contributor. Kristin compares it to watering a garden. If you’re overwhelmed and overcommitted it's like hundreds of tiny leaks along the hose. By the time the resource gets to the place you’re intending it, its potency has been depleted. She goes on to share the methods she personally uses to “stop the leaks” from depleting her energy and leading to burnout.  How Innovation Is Necessary When You Feel Burned Out.  Listen as Emily shares a very cute and relatable analogy for the action you have to take to overcome the burnout. You take personal responsibility and make moves to change the situation that is draining you. She’ll share some real life examples of what leaving behind what’s not working has looked like for her.  What You Need To Feel And Let Your Mind Do To Overcome Burnout  Each of us share the one thing that always refreshes and rejuvenates our energy. You may be surprised at the answer. It's not as complicated as you might think or that it might feel when you are in that burnout space.  Do what you need to do to take care of your energy. You are too needed to allow burnout to steal your energy for long. Discovering how to get messages about the future is a very popular topic. If you’ve ever had a situation you were sure was going in one direction, only to have it play out totally differently, this episode is for you. Let’s dive into how to predict the future.  What is “The Future”?  As my mentor would say, “The future is the past that hasn’t happened yet.” alluding to the concept that time is non-linear. The future and past don’t exist in the present. (existential, I know) So let’s investigate the why and how Spirit can give you, directly or in a reading, information about the future  Why Your Energy Makes a Difference in How Spirit “Predicts” the Future  The “prediction” will depend on the emotions and vibrations present in your energy. Do you feel any resistance when it comes to abundance, or simply receiving in general? There are times where we feel things are flowing to us seamlessly, while other times feel difficult and hard to navigate. Maybe you have a subconscious abundance block coming up. And that is what we are going to talk about in this episode.  What Abundance Blocks Are  Although we all have unique upbringing, cultures, and perspectives, from a personal energetic level an abundance block is a subconscious limiting belief that gets in your way and doesn’t allow you to receive the gifts and opportunities the Universe presents.  How Abundance Blocks Are Created  Trauma. The bottom line is these blocks are created from some type of past trauma. Maybe it was the beliefs you were raised with. It may even be physical trauma or the environment you were exposed to at a young age in some ways. Here I will give you some real world examples of how these blocks get created in our energy.   Different Types of Abundance Blocks  When blocks occur they get stored in our bodies, but it doesn’t just have to be our physical body. I’ll explain all the places and types of blocks that can occur and “stick” with us until we heal them. If we can “find” or determine “where” that block lives it gives us a more tangible method of addressing it. I’m going to break down the most common abundance blocks I see in spiritual and ambitious people like us.  Determining Your Value System   We all have different value systems. The things important to me may not be the same ones that are important to you. Finding out what your value system is will be very important in your abundance growth. You may find you have to arrange your resources so that you’re able to apply the most to the things, events, and situations that are the most important to you. Maybe even your non-negotiables.  Steps To Heal and Remove Your Abundance Blocks  Healing these types of blocks can look different for different individuals. Obviously deep seated major trauma induced issues will need a very different approach. It is not intended these steps replace any medical support that may be needed. Do you find yourself going through periods of abundance only to have something happen that knocks you down. Now all of a sudden you’re back in scarcity mode, back to where you started. You may even start to feel stuck there again. Let’s dive in to why that happens and what you can do about it  What is An Abundant Life Mean To You (2:37)  Abundance will look different for everyone. It’s up to you to decide what it’s going to look like in your life based on your core values and lifestyle. To be abundant we must receive something, right? Whitney breaks that down for you to help you craft an abundant mindset.  Discover Your Abundant Life Visualization (3:21)  Listen as Whitney walks you through a guided visualization exercise to help you discern exactly how your abundant life will manifest for you, individually.  The Meaning of Your Abundance Colors & Symbols (8:51)  During the visualization there was a section where you may have seen, heard the name of, or just knew the color. Well those colors mean something in regard to your mindset on abundance. Each color has its own specific relevance that Whitney explains. It will also help you to write down all the other aspects of the visualization as well. Everything you experienced will be a symbol to guide you in manifesting your abundant life.  Daily Steps For a More Abundant Life (12:42)  There are small things you can do everyday to feel and be in alignment with your abundance. Reflect back on your visualization answers and the meaning of those symbols. Those meanings and how they felt can be clues on the journey. Listen to find some other small habits you can adopt to call in abundance.  Why Do People Have Trouble Receiving Abundance (14:36)  There is one very simple reason why abundance seems to illude many people.
