Pacific Trauma Specialists in Folsom is a nonprofit public benefit corporation, dedicated to treating and healing emotionally traumatized individuals. Executive Director Lisa Larson joins the program to discuss this organization and the work they do. AND Firearm violence is responsible for nearly 30,000 deaths each year. Dr. Amy Barnhorst is a Board certified psychiatrist, Asistant Professor at UC Davis and Associate Medical Director of Crisis Services for Sacramento County. Dr. Barnhorst will speak about firearm violence and the known links to mental illnesses.
