The Importance of Self-Care in Creating Balance and Harmony in Your Life
Do you find yourself complaining about stress too often that it has become a part of the conversations in your head? Do you stress over the usual traffic, nooks, and crannies in the house that never get cleaned, to-do lists that never get done, the pile of workload in the office, or the inbox that never gets emptied? All these add up.Here’s the question - When was the last time you squeezed in a coffee date, a spa session, reconnected with a friend, bonded with the family while really being present without having to care an ounce about duties? These are much-needed breathers. If you did, congrats for being present in the moment! If you haven’t -here’s another question. Are you really stressed? Or you have totally skipped making time for yourself? Are you too absorbed with meeting the success metrics and think you have an unlimited energy supply?Stress comes in different forms nowadays, and one that really equates to it closely is the lack of self-care. Doing things excessively at the expense of your energy is a dangerous thing. Maybe it’s time to pause and think of what is really necessary at the moment. Are we really stressed or just out of tune with your needs? In this episode, Marc and Claudine give us a different perspective on stress and ideas on how to create that space for self-care so we can fill up our cups, and act more responsibly for our own well-being. Because when our cup is full, only then can we care for others. These are some highlights you shouldn’t miss:01:07 - What does creating balance in life look like?01:49 - Self-care in form of a hobby02:22 - How can coaches get people to tune in to themselves 03:59 - The underlying issues behind the inability to act upon stress06:57 - How to find inspiration to divert from stress09:04 - The extraordinary life vs. the mediocre one10:40- How our language shapes us, our feelings, and our thinking14:04 - Ways to create space for self-care to grow and replenish our energy20:14 - The importance of being present and expressing gratitude22:14 - Examining if we are in harmony with ourselves and allowing ourselves to live in curiosity23:11 - Seeking professional help to get unstuckTune in to another impactful episode of Breakthrough The Ordinary podcast. Click here to listen to this episode:  About the Hosts:Claudine Chiarmonte PCC, LCSWClaudine is a gifted psychotherapist, coach, speaker, and podcaster with over 27 years of experience in transforming the lives of individuals, families, and clients in Fortune 500 companies.Six years ago, Claudine experienced a near-fatal car accident that awakened her to her purpose. How to Use Energy Healing To Attract Health, Wealth, and Happiness with Lia Mehmetoglu
“When we are actually healthy energetically in our body, everything else falls into place because everything starts there.”- Lia MehmetogluSounds simple? Not quite. For many of us, achieving healthy energy is almost like doing a factory reset wherein the bare essentials of our being - body and spirit - get lifted off of the excess baggage that weighs them down so they can see each other and reconnect in alignment. This baggage could be anything between generational trauma, trapped emotions, and limiting beliefs. Add to those, the thoughts, ideas, and emotions from social media that we pick up throughout our day. Altogether, these blockages hurt our energy and, consequently, our vibrational frequency. It hinders us from attracting breakthroughs in health, wealth, and relationships that we want in our life.  That’s why we need to release them.In this episode, learn how we can get to the root of and clear these energy blocks. The Pillars of Financial Freedom with Alex Hao Li
Seeking financial freedom is much like going after any personal breakthrough in life. A few things need to come into play in order to move the needle. The Evolutionary Man: Presence, Purpose and Power with Jason Lange
Who would've thought that most of the world's problems stem from pathological masculinity? And we can trace it back historically to the patriarchal ideology and the impact on women and the planet that has been gaining attention in the last few decades.Do you believe that as a society, we are partially responsible for why men are disconnected from the heart and have lost awareness of their power? Are we guilty of passing on the belief there is a tiny box in which they should live? Men withdraw from their real emotions such as anger, shame about their sexuality, or freedom to grieve for fear of being judged. The distractions we have created have made it harder for men to decode signals from their bodies and understand them.Nevertheless, men can rediscover their energy and step into their wholeness and bring back their sensitivity amidst all the odds. Join us in this week's episode of Breakthrough The Ordinary Podcast and learn how men can have the support they need to deepen their presence, clarify their purpose, connect with their power, and have a deeper relationship with women.Tune in to another impactful episode of Breakthrough The Ordinary podcast.Click here to listen to this episode:  These are some highlights you shouldn’t miss:01:43 - The breakthrough that shifted Jason’s life to extraordinary04:16 - What men need to do to achieve the breakthrough they want in their lives07:35  - How divine masculine energy looks like and how it relates to the evolving sexual orientations or gender preferences inside relationships12:31 - The undermined damage caused by pathological masculinity to the world16:40 -  Finding harmony and balance of your energy from within and finding the perfect energy dynamics with your partner21:24 - The benefit of knowing what would serve love and consciousness in a relationship in the present moment25:14 - The benefits of deep masculine embodiment work for men’s careers, wealth, and relationships29:36 - The keys to embodying masculinity and femininity and how to learn it faster than reading a whole book34:40  Why now is the best time to find healing for your unique self so you can show up with more love and consciousness Episode Challenge: 29:58Being inside men groups presents an opportunity to be around other men, interact and learn with them, and get that instant transmission of how awakened men embody their healthy masculine energies. Here’s what Jason suggests you can do:Find ways to get into spaces with people who have done a lot of deep work in energy healing. Breathwork: A Doorway to Rebirth with Lori-Reyes DeSanti
They say life is a journey, just go through it without expectations and learn as you go along. But if you stall and get stuck along the way, ask yourself why. And there usually isn't an easy answer. In our past episodes, we have spoken with healers, coaches, and experts who talk about reprogramming, quantum healing, enlightenment, mindfulness, and an array of tools to help uncover past wounds and mental blocks. What if all these blocks root way back when we were not even clear of our capability of remembering?According to research, a growing fetus gains continuous awareness of its surroundings. It also has the ability to get signals of the mother's mental state 25 weeks into conceiving. So the questions go like this -"Do external events outside the womb affect the unborn baby mentally and emotionally? If yes, do the circumstances affect their decisions later in life?”Let Lori Reyes DeSanti give us a picture of how Rebirthing Breathwork heals birth trauma by breathing energy into the body.Tune in to another impactful episode of Breakthrough The Ordinary podcast.Click here to listen to this episode: are some highlights you shouldn’t miss:02:56 - How Lori’s breakthrough came about07:45 - Lori’s journey to Breathwork and Rebirthing14:12 -  Using intuition to choose the right breathwork when healing trauma and negative core beliefs18:46 - What happens after healing trauma and core negative beliefs?22:57 - How to keep people grounded and not get distracted and wander off from their intentions while in breathwork?25:17 - Asking why our body behaves a certain way during breathwork to uncover underlying negative emotions or thoughts28:34 - What are the benefits of breathwork?32:22 - A breathwork technique you can use anytime to clear your head, regulate your body, and take courage to move to the other side.Episode Challenge [32:22]Pay attention to your breath.Practice breathing wherever you are. Look at your feet and know where you're standing.Start counting your breath. Start breathing and just noticing. When you go to sleep practice, practice breathing.Lay down and only do it for 15 seconds. So the next time you do it, do it for 20 seconds. And it's all about noticing, and if you continue to practice breathing, it just feels better.Tag us at @Claudine.Chiaarmonte and Marc Anthony at the @btopodcast. About the Guest:Lori Reyes DeSanti, MSW, CBW is a pioneer in the professional Breathwork arena. Embracing The Duality of Human Nature Through Transformational Tantric Coaching with Aaron Kleinerman
May 2 2022
Embracing The Duality of Human Nature Through Transformational Tantric Coaching with Aaron Kleinerman
In this world of duality, there is always the presence of good and evil, kindness and cruelty. Not all men possess a discerning mind to balance and equilibrate thoughts, perceptions, and beliefs around their surrounding world. Often, when conflict or negativity presents themselves,  our cognitive behavior tends to fight and disregard the underlying opportunities presenting themselves. It results in internal chaos. Aaron’s MissionAaron Kleinerman is a Transformational Tantric Coach. But what's not cultivated oftentimes is the meditative movement of the body. And now that could be dance, that could be movement or putting a pillow down in front of you and beating to a pulp. That could be like letting all of the anger, sadness, or expression of everything inside. In this episode, Aaron Kleinerman introduces the concept of everythingness and nothingness in which their union puts you on an embodied level.  Episode Challenge:Meditating which is mostly done sitting in silence and stillness is a beautiful, deepening of masculine energy to appreciate what is to be this pillar of presence. But what often isn't cultivated a lot is the meditative movement of the body. And now that could be dance, that could be movement that could be putting a pillow down in front of you and beating to a pulp. That could be like letting all of the anger, the sadness, the expression of everything that's inside. In this episode, Aaron Kleinerman introduces the concept of everythingness and nothingness in which their union puts you on an embodied level.   Here’s how Aaron describes his experience“The more I have come to honor, love, and appreciate the everythingness inside of me, then the nothingness to which I can experience has become more and more profound. They are seemingly opposite ends of the spectrum that unify in the field of love.Without one, the other has no contrast and meaning. With only one, then this human bodysuit can get lost in the oblivion of chaos or the lifelessness of only being empty. So, together, these two fields merge and play together to unify at the heart to help humans remember the pure joy of both, which circulate inside the fullness of being completely human and eternally divine.” Here’s what we invite you to try:Do the following practice in five and five minutes, ten and ten or twenty and twenty. The practice of everythingnessDo five minutes of everythingnessPut on a timer on your phoneAnd you just dance and put on musicYou just move, and you sway or beat a pillow, just letting out all of the stuffThe practice of nothingnessAt the end of when the timer goes offAnd then you just come into stillness, you come into presence. What you're doing is on an embodied level,You're training your body to be in the stillness,And you're training your body to be inside of everything.Felt the impact and profoundness of the everythingness and nothingness practice? What is Diet Culture and Why We Should Break Free From It with Amanda Hallam
There is more to diet culture than what it looks like on the surface. For many women, there is a real struggle in keeping up with the perfect body image that was either ingrained in us through generations or a pressure we put on ourselves for different reasons.  The influence of mass media and social media marketing plants a strong subconscious desire that to be desirable and worthy, one must be within a specific weight range, body shape, or a prescribed look. We tend to measure ourselves through the measuring stick to create the perfect person.          But there is no one-size-fits-all standard for health and lifestyle. Over the years, following diet cultures, fitness, and beauty regimens have proven to be tiring and unsustainable. What happens when these norms do not sit well with our body structure and way of life? How do we drop these standards? Can we create our own measuring stick? Can we escape the endless hamster wheel of diet fads, fitness programs, and whatnot? If these don’t seem to work, then what will?Stay tuned and get some tips towards a holistic approach to health and lifestyle that would fit in regardless of what struggles and goals you may have. Click here to listen to this episode:  These are some highlights you shouldn’t miss:01:23 - What breakthrough do people get to have so they can live the life they want?02:34 - How to change every moment so your life plays out how you want it to.03:52 - Seeing our reality from the outside so we can change our narrative.07:00 - Recognizing your real value over the superficial worth ingrained in us as a child09:47 - Finding the “happy weight” that you can effortlessly maintain.11:39 -  Unraveling the emotional or stress eater in you and finding the joyful movement to sustainably stay fit.17:29 - The real measure of health and fitness - it’s not on the weighing scale.21:38 - Loving your body and making peace with it: why it’s a must whatever fitness goals you have.22:53 - The difference between fullness and satisfaction.23:30 - The concept of body neutrality: Your body is not you.27:56 - The body shame culture and why it doesn’t make sense.30:42- How to break free from body stereotypes. And are they representing you? Are they representing something that you want to be? Or, are they just showing you the perfect moments that are fractions of their life, and you have no idea what the behind-the-scenes look like? Claudine’s challenge:A healthy lifestyle may look different for every person. We came from different paths. Our bodies may have undergone different challenges that won’t be what it is right now if not for the rigors of life.Celebrate a win now that you have created your measuring stick.  This whole conversation imparts that we can either hand our power over and say,  “they have the measuring stick” or “I have the measuring stick to celebrate my wins.” Marc’s challenge:Find a small reason to celebrate, but also remind somebody else to celebrate even the littlest things so that we make it relational and that we don't always have to do it alone. Tag us at @iamclaudine and Marc Anthony at the @btopodcast.  About the Guest:Amanda Hallam is a holistic health and lifestyle coach who helps women shake off the burden of diet culture. Breaking Through The Wonder Wall and Dropping the Victim Mindset With Nick Pags

Breaking Through The Wonder Wall and Dropping the Victim Mindset With Nick Pags
Show Notes: There are a thousand ways to break down the elements of breakthrough or the absence of it. In our past episodes, we have sought answers from dozens of coaches, authors, and thought leaders about how they think people can achieve breakthroughs to live the life they say they want to have.In this episode, we have the pleasure of doing a deep dive on why it’s so difficult for people to cross the road from who they’ve become to who they want to be. Nick Pags drives home a clear point why people hold on to their current situation. You’ll be surprised the reason is “wildly simple.” People tend to protect themselves from the unknown, from the uncertain. As you tune in to this week’s episode with our guest, Growth Mindset Expert, Certified Behavioral Change Specialist, and Inspirational Live Coach, Nick Pags, Stay with us as Nick spills the beans on how he inspires his students to become who they want to be or better yet, limitless. This episode is like a bag of tools and methods you can use to step out of your comfort zone and discover what’s possible. Click here to listen to this episode:  These are some highlights you shouldn’t miss:01:33 - How people can achieve breakthroughs so they can live the life they want.03:14 - The lies that people tell to themselves: The victim vs. the victor mindset11:51 - Stepping out the Wonder Wall: From “I wonder” to “what if I?”14:37 - What is Project Limitless?17:12 - The survival mechanism that keeps our freedom inside the wonder wall.23:13 - No secret sauce! Just ABC - “acting boldly consistently.”26:23 - Releasing the resistance and playing it differently to see what’s possible29:17 - What a healthier, more abundant, and loving relationship with time can do.33:32 - How the autonomic nervous system influences our decision-making.39:59 - Stop, drop, and roll: Breaking the protected zone thinking pattern.46:59 - How NuCalm works49:15 - Why hacking strips off the essence of the process of Stop, drop, and roll.54:37 - The logic that explains why we don’t need fast or instant change.57:55 - A reason to celebrate and have some grace with yourself.1:00:19 - Nick’s journey into coaching. Episode Challenge: 33:32  This week, we challenge you to Stop, Drop, and Roll Here’s a quick background: In our brains, there exists a subconscious desire to go a different way, think of what if’s, what could be possible, or what could be waiting for us on the other side. But we almost automatically choose to do what we’ve always done. We choose to go in the same direction. Why? Because it's our autonomic nervous system that tells us not to change course. It’s not safe. You’ve always gone this way. Even if that course never gets us to who we want to become, we go with it. As Nick Pags puts it - “We rather dance with the devil that we know than the devil that we don't.” Here’s how you’ll do it-This is where we STOP and ask ourselves the question, “ Is this a decision that's aligned with who I want to be? And the life I want to live?” We begin to take radical ownership and take responsibility for who we want to be.By not allowing tons of excuses to get in the way, we DROP our ego, the protection, the safety and comfort zone, the victim mindset, the resistance to change, and simply allow ourselves to the possibilities.Only by dropping those blocks, can we then ROLL with a new decision and a new experience. It may take you some time to make it because change is uncomfortable. But if you resolve to ABC -“act boldly consistently,” the more you make decisions that are aligned with the person you want to be, the more you take that simple action, the more your life is a byproduct of that experience, and the more you start to see that your world is now built on a foundation of not protection, but abundant aligned choices. What is it with your current situation that you want to stop and drop, so you can roll to a new you? Start by telling us about it and don’t forget to act boldly consistently! Tag us at @iamclaudine and Marc Anthony at the @btopodcast.  About the Guest:Nick Pags is a Growth Mindset Expert, Certified Behavioral Change Specialist and Inspirational Live Coach, who understands the desire to change, why you don’t, and the mindset shifts needed to find success  in any area of your life.By applying the motivational skills he’s used as one of NYC’s top personal trainers and group fitness leaders to his behavioral change training, Nick inspired thousands of individuals - from peers in the coaching space to elite C-Suite executives – to unlock their potential.   He combines a unique mix of high-energy coaching and empathetic listening which naturally create a space for self-discovery that is as profound and exciting.  Throughout his private and group coaching, live events and corporate speaking, Nick affords his clients the opportunity to break through their old ways of being, rewrite the mental patterns that don’t serve them, and truly embrace their limitless potential to live out their most abundant lives. Find out more about Nick and what he does: Follow Nick: to the Project Limitless Stories: Follow the Podcast: Apple Podcast -   Spotify -   Google Podcasts - Music - -   Follow Us @thebtopodcast]: Instagram -   Facebook - - - - Us - thebtopodcast@gmail.com   About the podcast: Are you ready to commit to your future self---if you are, Marc Chiaramonte, a creative entrepreneur, coach, and adventure seeker, and Claudine Chiarmonte, psychotherapist, coach & joy creator, are ready to take you on a journey of self-discovery to unlock your highest potential! How To Get More Done While Working Less Time With Nick Cownie
Many of us have “traveling with the family” on our bucket lists. We crave freedom from the 9-5 or the luxury of the four-day work week, but the systems and mindset that we operate on never get us anywhere near achieving them. What if you can achieve more of these results while working less time? At 41, published author, international speaker, and certified digital marketing strategist, Nick Cownie has figured out how he can travel the world, do awesome things with amazing people, and get paid for it. Quite different from the average business, Nick’s month looks like 10 hours of work per month delivering his services to his clients, and 30 hours dedicated to marketing and sales. He employs a pragmatic approach to life and his business methods take him and his clients to their point B faster. Over the years of his coaching experience, Nick developed simplistic NLP techniques of teaching people mindset strategies that are digestible in seven minutes on average, which he, later on, wrote into a book called The Seven Minute Mindset. In this episode, get nerdy with us about combining real-world practical structure and systems, best practices, NLP and hypnosis, and notable principles that create amazing results for people who are after achieving exponential growth.Click here to listen to this episode:  These are some highlights you shouldn’t miss:01:32- What do you think people get to have as their own breakthrough04:33 - Nick’s definition of freedom08:45 - How Nick brings exponential growth to his clients12:47 - The fat-free NLP technique that helps people resolve their issues15:41 - Does Nick’s technique disrupt a pattern or create a permanent solution?19:01 - Nick’s coaching programs and some of his out-of-the-box consulting works26:03- Nick’s secret sauce to creating success for himself and his clients.35:32 - Traveling as a means to foster growth and change in people43:19 - Out-of-the-comfort-zone experiences that hit the mindset work home hard47:34 - Nick's simplified business growth tips (swipe this!)(02:43) Try This Mindset Work Our guest, Nick Cownie helps people break through to the next level by rewiring their brains, helping them build unshakable confidence, and destroying self-sabotage. In our recent episode, Nick shared with us an impactful yet ridiculously simple concept of CHOICE. Wanna try this quick mindset work? Here goes…Write the word CHOICE on a piece of paper, in capital letters so that the letters bleed through to the other side of the paper. Write it so that you can see through the paper, and then flip that paper over.Notice that it still perfectly reads CHOICE because of the way letters are formed. And so you turn it over and over and over, and every single time it reads CHOICE. And so the concept is there's always another choice, right? Nick commits to his belief that FREEDOM IS A CHOICE- and it's not a one-off choice. And it really does come down to the moment by moment choices with the criteria that you ask yourself –“Is this moving me closer or further from my personal definition of freedom and what that means to me in my life?”If you tried it, let us know what you think! Tag us at @iamclaudine and Marc Anthony at the @btopodcast.  About the Guest:Nick is a certified NLP trainer, published author, international speaker, and certified digital marketing specialist.Nick is often brought in as the behind-the-scenes “secret weapon” to provide elite training and consulting, and his personal client list reads like the “who’s who” of the international business, sports, and entertainment communities. His background in Traditional Chinese Medicine has equipped Nick with the ability to identify patterns from disorganized business systems. He transforms complex business concepts into a system that is reproducible, generates results and moves the needle for his clients in the quickest time possible.  Using NLP, he brings mindset tools that allow his clients to get out of their own way and massively transform their businesses through brilliant business models and marketing sales processes in as little as three months. What most people do not know about Nick is that at 21, together with a friend, Nick was held at gunpoint and robbed after a night out to celebrate his birthday. Following that, he was diagnosed with PTSD which cramped his life.Learning NLP at 26, Nick managed to resolve in ten minutes his PTSD condition which he grappled with and held him hostage for five long years.Owing to his sought after course and coaching business, Nick enjoyed traveling the world with his family for a decade. Find out more about Nick and what he does: (this site is coming soon) Get your Free copy of 7 Minute Mindset (Nick's book) at  Follow Nick on socials: Listen to More Episodes:Apple PodcastSpotifyGoogle PodcastsAmazon MusiciHeartRadio Follow Us [@thebtopodcast]:Instgram -  -  -  -  -  Us -contact-us@breakthroughmediaco.com About the podcast:Are you ready to commit to your future self---if you are, Marc Chiaramonte, a creative entrepreneur, coach, and adventure seeker, and Claudine Chiarmonte, psychotherapist, coach & joy creator, are ready to take you on a journey of self-discovery to unlock your highest potential! Breaking The Generational Cycle of Abuse Through Subconscious Reprogramming with Bria Lyn

Breaking The Generational Cycle of Abuse Through Subconscious Reprogramming with Bria Lyn
People go through cycles of abuse without knowing how they can end it. They saw it happen many times over before their eyes crossed generational lines. Then, they see it happening to their own family. That is a generational cycle- a “generational curse” to some.  Why is this happening? What is the explanation behind it? Does one have the power to know how it started, at least in his life? Is there a way to break the cycle? In this episode, trauma expert Bria Lyn talks about the logical scientific explanation about generational abuse and the technique she uses to calm the brain. The brain then can see clearly how it all began and allow the brain for subconscious reprogramming. Tune in and find out if you can do this yourself.  Click here to listen to this episode:  These are some highlights you shouldn’t miss:01:21   How subconscious programming helps people realize when an abusive cycle started and how they can break it.03:03  What subconscious reprogramming is and how it works03:48  How reality is programmed in the subconscious06:32  How subconscious reprogramming operates07:58  Identifying subconscious blocks and reprogramming them (Secret revealed!)10:44  Get into the state of discernment and alignment15:18   How the mind works when it is prideful or humble.17:31   Achieve harmony with others by starting from within yourself22:50  How to arrive in the space of discernment and wisdom by avoiding distractions26:29  The snippets from Bria Lyn's book that tackles the influence of good and evil.27:06  What does the average relationship look like: love vs. lust.36:45  How one can be instrumental in breaking the cycle of abuse  Episode Challenge (32:41) If we don’t forgive, we hold on to the resentment. But as humans, try to understand that we tend to show up in the likeness of the person who caused us pain or hurt. We are not free from the risk of doing the same thing. How do we break the cycle of abuse? We pay attention to not being in the position of a predator. We don’t let our mirror neurons make us absorb the actions of our abuser and go through the same cycle of causing hurt to others. How do we forgive? We detach the person from the abusive action. When you finally do, find it in your heart to forgive the person (not the act). Think that he may be under the influence of evil or a subconscious block.  We encourage you to get deep into this reflection and embody what we have in our conversation of coming from a space of forgiveness and discernment. When you do, may you find spiritual freedom. Forgiveness is a process. It’s not something that happens overnight. If you try to do it, let us know how it made you feel or what it did for you. Tag us at @iamclaudine and Marc Anthony at the @btopodcast.   About the Guest:Bria Lyn is an expert in trauma healing by reprogramming the brain to an unconditional state, allowing for complete mental, emotional and spiritual healing. The healing method allows healthy habits and boundaries to come naturally. Thus it creates healthy relational dynamics, along with financial and physical wellness. Bria doesn’t believe in charging a fortune for her services. She finds it to be her gift to the world, and it brings her joy to share this technique and see people’s lives change for the better. She believes that her service is worth five times more than what she charges.Offers:1 90-minute session- $1004 session package- $350Follow Bria Lyn on Facebook:  Follow the Podcast: Apple Podcast -   Spotify -   Google Podcasts - Music - -   Follow Us @thebtopodcast]: Instagram -   Facebook - - - - Us - thebtopodcast@gmail.com   About the podcast:  Are you ready to commit to your future self---if you are, Marc Chiaramonte, a creative entrepreneur, coach, and adventure seeker, and Claudine Chiarmonte, psychotherapist, coach & joy creator, are ready to take you on a journey of self-discovery to unlock your highest potential! Actionable Steps to Building Personal Accountability in Life with Mary-Theresa Tringale
What started as her consistent pursuit of self-awareness for Mary Theresa, coupled with a dash of the bravery of putting herself out there led people in her community into a journey of their own. In this episode, Mary Theresa Tringale shared with us the filters people have towards being accountable of their decisions, their qualms about answering the most pressing questions about themselves, getting a deeper sense and acceptance of what they truly want, ability to set boundaries to protect their energies, and their relationship with money. If you feel stuck doing the things that you aren’t happy about but unable to give up, you feel like your day-to-day life is a dull cycle of meaningless routine, you are wondering when you are ever going to find the one thing that will truly make your life happy, do you even know what you really want to be happy, — the first step to knowing is deep within yourself.  Tune in to this episode to get encouragement as to how you can move forward with that single step that will change the next days for you. Click here to listen to this episode:  These are some highlights you shouldn’t miss:00:56  How Mary Theresa became an Accountability Coach from an Events and Sponsorship Manager08:13   The principles that guide Mary Theresa’s coaching work.14:27   The questions we can ask to come to the awareness of the control or the lack of control that we have over the things that happen to our lives.17:49   Journaling as a tool for self-awareness and effective ways of doing it23:04  Answering the most pressing questions about who we want or not want to be27:34  Power lists vs. To-do lists and the key to moving the needle on what you want to accomplish34:49  Why celebrating small wins is a huge must-have37:17    The way we treat money is how it treats us back  (You’ll find this amusing but true)37:17    The money mindset that lets us shift into the abundance space43:38   The kind of relationship that we want to have with money 48:45  Her definition of “love”49:20   What she considers her superpower50:54   The books that Mary Theresa reads53:23   The person with the most influence54:58   Words of wisdom: There’s no shame in asking questions or getting support in realizing your dream, your vision, or your purpose in life. Episode Challenge (32:41)We encourage you to rethink your relationship with money. And if you feel that money isn’t always enough, it hardly comes, and when it does, it always isn’t enough. Here’s something you can think about, say, and feel within you. Remember, it may not easy to change your relationship with money but you will do better with practice. —-------Money is energy. It is a cycle of giving and receiving. I am open to receiving money in whatever way it comes. And also willing to give it generously to those who need it. If I just take all the money and put it in my savings account and never spend it, I am breaking up that cycle.  I am confident in the value I deliver to my clients, and I know that my services are worthy of what I charge. I believe that money will come consistently because I appreciate its value and have a healthy relationship with money. I need money as much as I need water, food, and human connection. So if money were a person, I need to have a relationship with money. And like other relationships, it could be a loving one or a toxic one. That being said, I believe that money will flow through me. It loves me as much as I love it. I need it in my life.  Money is all around me, maybe just in another form. It keeps the roof above my head, fills my tummy, and makes my family comfortable. So I am always with money.—-------Let us know what you think about your relationship with money. What do you feel about this affirmation about money?Tag us at @iamclaudine and Marc Anthony at the @btopodcast.  About the Guest:Mary Theresa Tringale or M-T to her close friends is an accountability, success, and money mindset coach. A New World View: From Individualism to Inclusion With Dr. Ray Blanchard
What you believe is what you’ll see… Often, the narrative is that we are being held up by limiting beliefs when it comes to achieving the life we envision. Early experiences in life build those beliefs and thoughts, those beliefs and thoughts affect our feelings; feelings become our actions, and actions form our habits. Our habits cement our thoughts. The cycle becomes a pattern. Then, we fall into the egocentric trap that holds us back from achieving our full potential. In this episode, our guest, Dr. Ray Blanchard describes the process by which he helps people spiral back into the source of their fundamental worldviews that dominate their life, make distinctions, create new beliefs, shift into an ecocentric worldview, and realize the life they envision in a whole new positive perspective.  Here’s what we’ve learned from Dr. Ray Blanchard:01:24 How to achieve a breakthrough by shifting one’s worldview06:29 Helping people transform their worldview to accomplish what they want in life09:03 How making distinctions help people see deeper through themselves10:29 Describing vs. experiencing14:04 The guiding principles of training that transcends cultures20:46 Transforming from the egocentric to the ecocentric relationship24:10 The overmind that cares about how one’s actions affect the world as a whole28:34 How egocentricity sets us up to self-hate, hurt, and self-destruction31:08 The Great Spirit that binds us all together as one35:08 The practice of creating a deep connection with others39:19 How we achieve safety and transformation from within ourselves42:35 What mindful noticing without judgment is 3 Ways People Can Become Stronger and Resilient From WithinIncreasing Endorphins in the Body(42:35 - 45:06) Practice the ability of mindful noticing without judgmentStart to notice your environment, start to notice your own emotions, your own thoughts, your own feelings. Stop Playing Life On The Defense: Turn Adversity To Your Advantage with Brett Eaton
Adversity now, Advantage later The verse that says, “gold is tested by fire” holds a lot of meaning. For one,  it is referring to the genuineness of faith. The same goes for a person’s character. The adversities and most challenging moments in our life are usually the most difficult times to go back and talk about in the open.   If we really think about it, we are all soldiers in the warzone, and battle scars are nothing to be ashamed of. Instead, we should take pride in them because if we look closer, they are the reason we become the real person that we are, stronger and wiser. This week on the show, Brett Eaton will talk about how you can go straightforward and intentional about approaching life, coming out stronger after surviving adversities, being brutally aware of yourself, going about every little detail that will move you closer to fulfillment, and being crystal clear of what you want to achieve. And these come with the tagline, “Adversity now, advantage later.” Brett mentions the top 3 things on how you can practice intentionally towards your goals and playing life on the offense:1. Having brutal self-awareness2. Choosing commitment over comfort3. Setting measurable goals and tracking progress These are the episode highlights you shouldn’t miss: 01:40  Brett’s journey to becoming a coach04:08  The fundamental pillars of Brett’s coaching07:58  The mindset and practices of high-performance achievers11:50    How to nurture continued self-awareness intentionally13:26   How to be more effective with time management and creating goals15:36   What you can do to remove distractions and time-wasters so we can narrow down to things that we are really passionate about.17:36   How to fill life with things that are energizing and less of what’s draining17:47   How to turn adversity into an opportunity20:41   How writing on paper can help one sort out the lessons from  adversity27:09   The analogy between dating and adversity29:15    Why everyone has a certain level of confidence and how to keep building it36:44   The daily habits that Brett follows39:02   His definition of love40:29   His secret to living a fulfilled life42:06   What Brett wants his legacy to be43:33   The most influential people in his life45:51   How small changes can make great impact Episode Challenge (20:41)There is always a good thing that comes from the difficult moments in our life. Here’s a challenge for you. Find out what that is by writing down on paper your answers to the questions below. Go back to the last five years of your life. What is one of those really difficult moments in your life?  What did you learn from it?  How did you come out after you’ve gotten past that moment?  How do you think differently?  What part of you has become better?  If not from that moment, did you learn from people? What was shifting perspective?  What did you learn to get through it? Because the gift could be in that. If you try this exercise, let us know and tag us @iamclaudine and Marc Anthony at the @btopodcast.   About the Guest: Brett Eaton is a Life Optimization Coach, speaker, author, owner, founder of The Better You Blueprint Coaching Program, and co-host of the podcast, The Better You Blueprint Podcast. Brett believes that life is meant to be played on offense, not the defense. Quieting The Monkey Mind: Effective Leadership Mindset in the Workplace with Shawn Clark

Quieting The Monkey Mind: Effective Leadership Mindset in the Workplace with Shawn Clark
Are Leaders Born or Made? Often, people get promoted to leadership roles because they are effective at what they do. However, when it comes to effective leadership, that detail barely scratches the surface. A big chunk of the hard work lies underneath because being effective at work is one thing and effectively managing people is another.   Stepping up to leadership is a milestone that marks the start of what is to be rigorous and consistent cultivation of skills without losing unique abilities and character as an individual. Our guest, Shawn Clark, was at the forefront of the leadership coaching industry. He knows exactly how leaders can fine-tune their left and right brains so that they can leverage their superpowers, strategize around their weaknesses, develop an effective leadership mindset, and not end up as a nervous wreck in the process. Tune in to this episode of Breakthrough The Ordinary Podcast and create a game plan for your leadership path. These are the episode highlights you shouldn’t miss: 01:44  Shawn’s journey into becoming a coach04:35 The four quadrants of the brain that define thinking styles06:15 Understanding your strengths and consciously approaching weaknesses08:10 How admitting your vulnerabilities help you as a leader, your reputation, and create an impact on your personal brand10:10 Executive skills vs. executive thinking11:22  The struggle with delegation18:22 How to intentionally set yourself up for success in the shortest possible time21:29  Understanding mental fitness and recognizing  mental hijack when it happens26:45  How to build  the muscle that handles stress positively to get  you back on track32:41 Mapping your time spend and evaluating if it is serving you well35:08 How to catch the monkey mind and silence it39:43 The sense of balance that’s called executive presence40:32  The five-second pause that lets you release the panic buttons pressed on you44:55 Shawn’s influences46:17  Shawn’s daily habits and routines that keep him showing up effectively47:16 What Shawn does instead of reading books50:29 Shawn’s superpower Episode Challenge (32:41) Map out where your time is spent to assess if you have all your bases covered. Take a look at an average day or average week and understand where your time is spent.   Create four boxes and label them as follows: what I enjoy doing, what I don't enjoy doing, what I need to do on the side, and what I don't need to do.   Write down in each of those boxes the things that you do and order them by importance. Doing this will help you qualify the things that are important (whether you enjoy doing them or not) and need more attention, things that will get you more results, and things that you need to delegate to people who are really good at those. Your strengths and weaknesses are well accounted for and none of the important things are missed out in the process. This is a reasonable and logical way to approach leadership. What is the real measure of success in life? Even if you thought your mind and heart were in the right place when you wrote your definition of success in life, this episode would make you think twice. Be ready to step out and sit close by a tree, meditate and pay close attention to what nature is trying to communicate with you. Just be in that space of connectedness and compassion before you begin to rewrite your definition of success. Why should we care about other people, nature, and everything else around us?  Why should we shift our language from “me” to “we”?How does the whole ecosystem relate to your success as an individual? How do we listen and observe like farmers, so we know when the season to sow and reap our success? Let them find their favorite tree and connect with it. (45:17) Whatever action you choose, share it with us on your socials. 3 Ways Philanthropist Tonya Parris is Promoting Diversity and Inclusion with Tonya Parris
From a Wall Street Executive to an Altruistic Entrepreneur  Her love for computers, her childhood life spent in the Bronx, and the thoughtful upbringing of her parents made Tonya Parris the resilient and tenacious woman who paved her way to Wall Street. These are the same attributes that turned her to becoming an altruistic entrepreneur founder of The Parris Foundation: S.T.E.M.ulating Minds as well as CEO of the Parris Group, Inc. 3 Ways Philanthropist Tonya Parris is Promoting Diversity and Inclusion Through The Parris Foundation: S.T.E.M.ulating MindsSTEMulating Minds is a nonprofit under The Parris Foundation that promotes educational opportunities and fostering awareness in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) by servicing disenfranchised communities, providing scholarships to students from disadvantaged, socio-economic backgrounds, and collaborating with organizations focused on improving access to technology for low-income families. The Parris GroupThe Parris Group is a consulting, training, and coaching company that creates corporate consciousness, corporate transformation, and expansion while providing continuing emotional intelligence development for employees through seminars and workshops, and retreats. Through The Parris Group, Tonya reaches out not only to corporations but to companies where the parents of STEMulating Minds students work so they too can benefit from the tools that cultivate exploration, self-observation, emotional intelligence and have a level of awareness that enables them to have a reflective conversation, powered by masterful listening from coaches and trainers.   The Transformation of RaceTonya co-created The Transformation of Race with the world-renowned executive coach, management consultant, entrepreneur, and trainer Bettie J. Spruill.  The program is a safe place for all races, colors, creeds, ages, ethnicities to come together and have a conversation and gain another level of awareness around varying worldviews and ecologies.  It is a safe place to explore knowing what you thought you know or don’t know, and discuss social responsibility. More than that, it’s a place of powerful discussions about oneness over separation, commonality rather than differences, and community over clustering or isolation using a myriad of learning tools such as exercises, journaling, etc. These are the episode highlights you shouldn’t miss:02:25 How Tonya pivoted from being one of the women of Wall Street to an altruistic entrepreneur07:41 What the Parris Foundation: STEMulating Minds is all about:14:23 The transformation of Parris Group from a technology consulting company to one that focuses on holistic corporate consciousness that encompasses the emotional well-being of employees and social responsibility19:40 What fuels Tonya and how she takes care of herself23:27 Living the commitment to excellence and coming from a place of responsibility26:41 The 10/10 relationship33:19 How The Transformation of Race training was conceived and what it’s all about40:19 Managing racism through resilience and absolute tenacity45:33 The actions between different people or different communities that could open up and move the conversation around inclusivity and diversity  50:17 Are we really free or is freedom just a promise “embedded” in the Constitution?52:56 How to challenge ourselves to be in a space of understanding people who are perceived to be different by opening up conversations.  55:05 Being mindful that what we buy into supports the ESG (Environmental Social Governance) model.57:27 Tonya’s greater vision for the world57:56 The most influential people in Tonya’s life59:46 What God means to Tonya  1:01:18 Tonya’s reading vault1:03:57 The daily habits that have Tonya showing up effectively Episode ChallengeStart off with a 30-day challenge to begin breaking barriers and understand “others” more through the power of open conversations, because it’s through understanding other people's worldviews that we learn and grow.    Challenge #1 (53:00-53:44)  Approach someone that you might perceive as different. By different, it doesn't necessarily mean that his/her skin color is different from yours. It can mean that someone grew up in another area, urban versus suburban, from another community or tribe, or a different economic or socio-economic status.Talk to that person. Create a meaningful conversation.Listen to their views and learn where they are coming from. Practice mindfulness when you buy something.  Challenge #2 (55:06-56:47)  Really think about the businesses where you’re putting your money into. Do they support the ESG (environmental, social, governance)  model? By ESG we mean, are they sourcing materials responsibly, paying fair wages, going by ethical standards and their moral compass puts people, animals, and the environment’s welfare over profit. Be critically altruistic.Challenge #3 (56:22 -56:47)  Be altruistic and be a contributor. If you're going to give your money anywhere, giving it to education is all worth it more than you think. It could be something like Parris Foundation: STEMulating Minds or something else, but give your money to something that supports education because education is the only way that we're going to break the cycle of racism.Have you opened up to these challenges in the hope of starting change from within yourself? Tell us what having opened such conversations made you feel. Have you bought from an ethical business recently? Or, have you supported any foundations?  How does doing any of these challenges change you as a person? Does it change how you relate with people you perceive as different? Tell us about it. Tag us @thebtopodcast on socials. Let’s make this change happen! About the Guest:Tonya is the President and Founder of The Parris Foundation: S.T.E.M.ulating Minds as well as CEO of The Parris Group, Inc., a technology, financial, professional and personal development consulting and coaching firm that supports social and emotional learning, intelligence & responsibility through seminars, workshops and retreats.Tonya earned her Masters on Science in Engineering Program at the University of Pennsylvania’s Moore School of Engineering. She completed her undergraduate studies at Binghamton University where she earned a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science at the Watson School of Engineering. Before her commitment to be in service to others, Tonya followed her passion for technology and pursued a career as a Software Engineer in the Financial Services industry where she lived amidst the few Women on Wall Street in the IT Application Development space.  After over 20 years of working for premiere companies like Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan Chase, UBS, Credit Suisse and Goldman Sachs, Tonya achieved the significance and the certainty that was lacking from her life as a child who grew up in public housing in the Bronx. On the other hand, her experience volunteering her weekends to support people with all sorts of things such as women’s shelter and children’s welfare was what made Tonya feel full in her heart.  This experience and her vested interest in the economically distressed communities that she serves sparked the idea of starting The Parris Foundation, an organization that is dedicated to promoting educational opportunities, servicing disenfranchised communities by providing access to STEM education through scholarships and collaborating with other organizations that supports access to technology for low-income families.Tonya is also an ICF (International Coaching Federation) certified coach, a transformational trainer, the co- developer of the training called The Transformation of Race. To know more about Tonya Parris and what she does:Follow Tonya on Instagram: @tonyaparrisLike The Parris Foundation: STEMulating Minds on Facebook: @ParrisFundVisit  Follow the Podcast:  Apple Podcast -  Spotify -  Google Podcasts -  Amazon Music -  iHeartRadio -  Follow Us [@thebtopodcast]:  Instagram -  Facebook -  Twitter -  TikTok -  Website -  Contact Us - thebtopodcast@gmail.com   About the podcast:  Are you ready to commit to your future self---if you are, Marc Chiaramonte, a creative entrepreneur, coach, and adventure seeker, and Claudine Chiarmonte, psychotherapist, coach & joy creator, are ready to take you on a journey of self-discovery to unlock your highest potential! Influence Climate Change and Reverse Chronic Disease through a Sustainable Lifestyle with Enrica Sacca | EP 26
They say if you want to see change, start with yourself! That was exactly how our guest, Enrica Sacca, turned her health around and reversed colitis, a chronic digestive disease she carried on from age six. In this episode, Enrica gets deep about her transition to a whole-food, plant-based (WFPB) lifestyle that created massive change in her well-being.By the time her parents should be enjoying the home they worked so hard to invest in, they were all stuck in sicknesses in the family. The family suffered a deep financial and emotional burden from her mother's eventual liver transplant. Enrica Sacca knew she needed a change, and that's when she started paying attention to food systems.  One good thing led to another. Owing to a driven nature, Enrica pursued a certificate in Plant-based Nutrition from T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies. She awakened to the truth about the food that we eat.  To her, the new health paradigm was like an oxygen mask in the plane that you put on yourself first. You feel immense gratitude for the transformation, and then you desire other people to experience it too. She created The Lifestyle Building community to empower others, especially people bound by chronic diseases and the band-aid medication trap.If you believe that it is about time to take charge of your health, tune in to this episode of Breakthrough The Ordinary Podcast.
