Our Editor's Take

Reasonably Shady is a fun podcast for reality TV fans. Robyn Dixon and Gizelle Bryant cohost the show. They are the so-called green-eyed bandits from the reality TV show The Real Housewives of Potomac (RHOP). And they cohost this podcast.

The Reasonably Shady series is the two teaming up on this show. It's a way of sharing even more about themselves and their friendship. Fans will get a better sense of those two women. Robyn married Juan Dixon, her high school sweetheart, and they have two kids. Their relationship has sometimes been challenging, as documented on RHOP. Robyn has her own business and enjoys balancing work with family life.

Gizelle is a single mom to three daughters. She moved back to Potomac, where she grew up, after divorcing her husband, Jamal Bryant. She keeps busy through her entrepreneurial drive and passion for philanthropy. She and Robyn have great conversations on Reasonably Shady. Together they talk about everything from their favorite TV shows to their childhoods. From the first episode, listeners will hear all about the two women. They'll learn which star was drinking and smoking weed in eighth grade.

Robyn and Gizelle invite listeners to raise topics and share stories with them. In the episode "Ooey Gooey French Fries," a listener asks them about a rumored french-fry story involving GloRilla. This story about the female rapper has the two laughing. If they don't know about something, their listeners will be sure to let them know.

What's evident through each episode is Robyn and Gizelle's close friendship. They talk about everything in an open and transparent way, unafraid to say what they think. This is especially true when it comes to their RHOP co-stars. They also discuss their thoughts on celebrity couples, microblading, music, and more. Plus, they're not afraid to shame any haters on their social media. Due to its engaging content and dynamic hosts, the podcast received an NAACP Image Award. Listeners can enjoy new episodes every week.
