Let's be realistic, in life we know that problems are going to show up. Be it relationships, careers, finances, in physical or mental health, and families. Although this is our brutally truthful reality, there is another part of reality many of us overlook, and that reality is that we overlook Ourselves.

This is where self-love talk steps in, because the person we spend the most hours in a day with is ourselves. Twenty-four hours a day, which means that most of our actions are results of the conversations that are taking place somewhere between our minds and our emotions. On this podcast we are learning ways to tackle self-awareness so we can know which of our thoughts to give attention to that can prevent negativity from taking over us, and which of our thoughts need monitoring for the time we'll need to set aside to properly monitor them.

Even during the more difficult times in your life, what's shared here on this podcast, will help you uncover your greatest potential and will lead you to affirmative action toward your mental transformation. Truth is, what we repeatedly say to ourselves, whether in thought or verbally, we will believe. That is why I believe in self-love talk as much as I do, because it has gotten me out and through some of my hardest times and I will never stop believing in this self-help formula.

What if all of the chaos is the very thing in your life that's trying to push you into the greatness that you've been too afraid to step into?What if what's been happening in your life is there to push you into purpose? What if everything you've been going through is a wake up call to a greater mission for you to accomplish? What if the reason is bigger than the pain you had to endure? Sometimes the pain we feel is carrying purpose in it. For me, a lot of what I've gone through in my personal life gave me purpose and meaning for life, which is why I can go into immediate mental shifts when challenges show up; where I ask myself, or God, what am I to be taught from this? What is this here to show me about myself? I know that isn't easy to do when it feels like life is throwing punches at you, but in this episode I mention getting still.....solitude is mandatory to get clarity and direction. It's not always other people who are throwing our path off, if we're honest enough, we can admit that we can be our own problem. How you can dictate that is by analyzing your patterns. How are things showing up in your life? How familiar is the last experience to your previous ones? Giving yourself time of stillness/solitude helps with self-awareness, I highly recommend it because I know personally that it works. It's healthy for your emotional, mental and spiritual being. No matter how tough it gets, we have to keep pushing! If you have to cry your way out, give yourself time to do that! If you have to scream at times, take your moment to do that! Whatever you do, push through. What if what's waiting on the other side of your push is going to get you more of what you deserve in life? Make sure you don't give up so you can see what that is. Episode 3: CHANGE YOUR PERSPECTIVE
Automatically, we think the worst when we're faced with a challenge or loss right? In this episode I used relationship separations and break-ups as an example of the topic (Change Your Perspective), because love relationships are such relatable topics. Someone will always know the heartbreaking pain of a breakup no matter what your environment is. It's unfortunate, but also a truth we'll never have the ability to run from, ignore or disagree about. So, changing the perspective about the pain of the challenged or failed relationship would look more like asking yourself....What is this here to teach me? Show me, warn me, or better yet how can this improve me? Instead of looking for validation, assurance and answers from the person who made the decision to end or pause things. It's not as easy to focus on the greatest outcomes when your heart and feelings are involved, I'm fully aware. Which is why in this episode I mention how important it is to face the pain, that deep hurt, and the reality of whatever your situation is not to keep you in it, but because it is the healthiest way to heal. Will it hurt? Of course it will, but running away from it will only prolong the hurt and, or never heal it. You deserve to have another fair shot at a real love relationship without carrying past hurts into the picture, which is what I call cheating on the heart. Take the time you need and let the experience grow you into having the life you rightfully deserve. If your situation isn't relating to love relationships, then I'd encourage you to let your situation do the same for you. Feel your emotions without beating yourself up, without falling into self-destructive patterns and lack of self-care. Time is needed to face and own your truth/reality and whatever it is, there is always a positive outcome available for it. Changing your perspective would look like...HOW CAN I MAKE THIS WORK IN MY FAVOR? What is this here to teach me about me? Is this test driving me into testimonies to fulfill or figure out my life's purpose? YOU DESERVE MORE than feeling hurt and pain. Go through it to get to you, God (if you're a believer), and real self-love. Of course I shared some self-love talk that can be used to reverse the negative talk that so easily slip up in your head/mind. Make sure you SPEAK them to yourself as many times a day as you need to.
